Personally, I believe Ghana deserves worse than this and I will happily go there as an insurgent sent to help the people of western Togo land if I am ordered to do so by the Nigerian government but the fact is : Nigeria plays a strong role in peacekeeping across the continent, we regularly deploy troops to unstable countries and we have strong ties to the US, so funding a rebellion in a neighbouring country would be out of the question (but then again we closed our borders knowing it would mean the loss of 200million potential customers to neighboring countries so I can't completely denounce this theory) |
The sad reality is : various groups have been trying to succeed from Nigeria for a very long time now and none of these groups have been supported or recognized by any international bodies as having any legitimacy to their claims, in my honest opinion I think Nnamdi kanu has the best plan, he organises protest and waits for the FG to attack the protesters and kill some of them then he tries to use the deaths to appeal to the UK plus he is using the movement to generate some money for himself using his radio station |
Dude.......um...........you may not know this but more Muslims/Northerners have suffered(killed or displaced) under boko haram than Christians/southerners, so your post just makes you seem like a misinformed tribalist |
This is what happens when you don't put enough funding in your military, imagine IPOB trying to forcefully claim a part of Nigeria, under this Buhari Administration any National threat no matter how minimal is meet with extreme force Edit : please before you comment that Buhari supports BH(boko haram) look at the strength & territories of BH and the millitary might of Nigeria during 2014(before buhari became president) and compare them to the current situation, currently Boko haram controls no territory within Nigeria and their activity has been pushed back from Northern Nigeria to the North east and currently they only operate in Borno (all IDP camps outside Borno have been closed) plus Buhari increased the millitary Budget to 2 Billion and has purchased multiple attack helicopters/jets to aid in the war on insurgency |
