Ikpunekenwa: Wasn't the defense chief that said we should protect ourselves from terrorists, aren't the fulani herdsmen terrorists? Since the government aren't doing anything, why won't they carry arms to protect their parents from being killed in the farm and their sisters from being raped. Where they after government before the fulani military came to protect the terrorists? You should be honest with your assertions and stop trying to sound politically right because you are among those oppressing others now, tomorrow is pregnant, the bushmeat can become the hunter tomorrow. *ESN has attacked police officers* *ESN has attacked military men* The moment they attacked security agents of the nation they declared war on Nigeria and even worse they have aligned themselves with a separatist group in the region. If you can say ESN is simply defending their land from Fulani herders then I can say that the Army is simply defending the sovereign state of Nigeria from armed militias trying to steal territory and declare a nation. Fulani herders killed igbos so they created ESN ESN killed police officers so they called in the ARMY |

Tranquillity360: When they were protesting with only flags and got killed by nigeria army and Police, what were they? They were the oppressed and people across the world sympathized with them but now the narrative has changed they are no longer a group of marginalised people seeking freedom from a government that failed them They are Armed militants trying to start an insurrection, they kill soilders and policemen, they are insurgents and Imo state is turning into the next battleground. |

thebosstrevor1: Good news.
The reality is this boko haram and iswap have been defeated. What we have on ground now is splinter groups with different leaders creating trouble in the north east region.
I trust our military men, they will do the needed job and destroy these various groups.
What Nigerian soldiers are fighting is unconventional walfare but it has been minimised to a point where the groups cant perform again Nigeria is no longer fighting a fullscale war on insurgency. it is now Classified as a minor conflict in which terrorist enter Borno to attack citizens and run across the border to hide in Neighbouring countries when the Nigerian army retaliates with superior firepower |

Keep a tab on how much your thieving country men will spent on frivolities in the US this year alone. If you think any top politician/Government official was affected by the travel ban then you are in for a shock |

madridsta007: Equipment that would be used by the Nigerian Police through SARS or is it SWAT to further kill Nigerian Youths.
If you think that the Fulanis will use equipments to kill Fulani bandits, then you must have been sleeping for the last 5-6 years. When will you learn? Who donates weapons to countries like Nigeria with deplorable human rights record? You may be right but Nigeria is still an important ally to the USA is combatting terrorism in westAfrica. can you imagine what would happen if Boko haram took control of the country or if They even managed to take over the Northeast and establish a caliphate like ISIS did in Iraq/Syria Nigeria armed forces is ranked the fourth strongest military in Africa and we are the largest economy, if Jihadists took over the country it would destabilize the entire continent This is why the USA will continue to sell arms to Nigeria |

crafteck: Within days people have started losing jobs in the us, ending travel ban is just for sentiments, if you were an American, do you think a country like Nigeria deserves to have travel ban lifted, for every 10 people that go there from here, hundreds are going there to cause havoc, sirry, thousands. I dont care about how his leadership affects americans or if he is a good president for America, what I care about is his foreign policy towards Nigeria and I am satisfied that even if he will be a bad president Nigeria as a nation will be positively affected by his changes. |

They are donating and you’re happy
Name ONE country America has helped become prosperous ... name ONE ! As long america is not sending troops then there is nothing wrong with donations The day america builds a Military base in Nigeria is the day I change nationality but USA is a top producer of millItaly equipment in the world and we already purchase from them so we should see this donation as harmless and helpful |

Everybody just calling corruption corruption corruption upandan.
Which people are the case study of corruption Nigeria.? You think it's only Buhari and his government?
80 percent of those who have commented on this post are more corrupt than Buhari. When buhari entered he promised to fight corruption and insecurity and he has failed on both fronts, he has undoubtedly done far better than Goodluck Jonathan but just because things are better than they were in 2015 doesn't mean he has fulfilled his promised and there is nothing wrong with asking for more since his campaign motto was literally "change" |
Politics › Re: Five Reasons Nigeria Dropped On Corruption Perception Index by Kudejo: 6:05pm On Jan 28, 2021 |
tesppidd: Rubbish.
Is there anything mentioned here that wasn't happening in this country for the past 30 years?
It is called corruption perception. Most people don't even know this; It doesn't necessarily mean that the country has become more corrupt..
Why the corruption index rises is that corruption activities are making the headlines much more than before. That is due to Moore exposure.
The number of corruption cases with the EFCC and in the courts is unprecedented in the history of this country. The number of EFCC prosecutions and convictions is also unprecedented in our history.
A lot of people are so ignorant, they didn't know how this corruption index works. CPI doesn't measure the actual corruption in the country it just measures the public opinion on corruption and more corrupt cases have been exposed so people naturally assume that the country is gradually getting worse when it infact it is the exact opposite |
