I hear this annoying rattling sound at cold start in my 2005 Corolla. The sound last for 1 to 2seconds and dissappear. It doesn't come again until the engine is completely cold. Pls what could be the cause. Thank you.
I use recommended oil and no oil shortage

I use recommended oil,5w 30

That would make sense (belt slippage so oil pump does not engage properly at first) but sometimes this can also be caused by using oil with higher viscosity rating for that environment.

It will therefore require momentary circulation to achieve full lubrication.

My 2005 Toyota Corolla with 1zz engine usually makes this cold start rattling sound that last 1 to 2 seconds. After that, you don't get to hear the sound again until it's cold. It doesn't short oil, the oil light is not on but sometimes the check engine light comes on and goes off. I use recommended oil. Please I need advice on what to do to eliminate this annoying noise at cold start. Thank you.
