Ariana Grande is bringing Sweetener to a city near you.

The pop superstar has announced the first leg of The Sweetener World Tour. The 42-date North American arena trek will kick off March 18 in Albany, NY before hitting Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, and Atlanta, continuing through June 18 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 100-year-old grandmother in her own bedroom in India.

The incident occurred at a village in Nadia district, West Bengal, eastern India.

Family members were alerted after hearing calls for help from the elderly woman’s room. They found the 20-year-old suspect, identified as Argha Biswas, hiding underneath the elderly woman’s bed, and he was arrested shortly afterward.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, has finally broken his silence, since he resurfaced in Jerusalem, Israel.

In the live broadcast on Sunday evening, Kanu spoke on Ayodele Fayose, his bail conditions, his return to Nigeria and more.

Kanye West Visited Uganda Orphanage And Gifts Yezzus To Kids

During his visit to Africa this week, the rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian West paid a heartwarming visit to the Masulita Children’s Home in Wakiso, the oldest orphanage in Uganda. They flew from Chobe, Uganda to the charity event in Masulita on a helicopter that belongs to the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni.
Wearing a fluorescent “Saving Lives Changing Lives” shirt, Kanye rapped for the kids, who sang and danced along. But they were especially excited when he brought out several bags filled with brand new white Yeezy Boost 350 v2s to hand out to the over 100 kids in attendance.

Kanye previously gifted President Trump with a pair of Yeezys, as well as the President of Uganda. “I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers,” tweeted President Museveni. “Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa.”

The Kogi State Police Command has again declared Senator Dino Melaye wanted for alleged criminal conspiracy, attempted culpable homicide and unlawful possession of firearms.

In a statement on Saturday, Commissioner of Police in the state, Ali Janga, alleged that the lawmaker mobilized some thugs that shot and injured a police personnel Sergeant Danjuma Daliu who is currently receiving treatment in a hospital in Abuja.

According to him, Senator Melaye was invited officially by the command in a letter dated July 23 to come and answer the charges on him but refused to honour the invitation till date.

Another recession is coming - ANAN

The leadership of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has warned of the possibility of the country plunging into another round of recession, a threat it wants President Muhammadu Buhari to avert immediately.

The professional accountants gave the advice during a courtesy call on Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday, where they also endorsed him for a second term in office.

President of the Association, Shehu Usman Ladan, spoke to State House correspondents after he and his delegation emerged from the meeting with the president.

He said that the country’s economy was well enough to inspire ANAN’s confidence that Buhari would be able to work harder to prevent a second in three years.

According to him, “We commend the government for bringing the country out of recession and effort to place the country on the path of sound economic growth.”

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Former President Olusegun Obasanjo of mounting pressures on the Government of the United States to lift a visa ban on Atiku Abubakar.

President Muhammadu Buhari held another closed-door meeting with three state governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the presidential villa, Abuja on Friday, October 12.

This was revealed by the personal assistant to the president on new media, Bashir Ahmad, on his Twitter handle that the governors at the meeting with the president included Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state.

“President Muhammadu Buhari this afternoon met with Governors of Kano, Ogun and Zamfara States at the Presidential Villa, Abuja,” he wrote.
