I think an independent woman is a woman who has her own source of income, and doesn't depend on her partner fully but is not ashamed to ask for help when she needs it. This also means that she is willing and happy to help her partner when the time comes.

@freecocoa, i understand your point. I get you. Humans directly or indirectly depend on each other talkless of being in a committed relationship. You should understand, a nigerian girl tends to solely depend on a guy in a relationship . But guys av wised up, and are taking precautions. All dese posts here and everytin are for precautions. But i belive wen a girl is dependent to an extent, the guy would shower her with suprises. Trust me it works .......

Firstly, I don't see whatever I do for my man as a favor that's why I said I'm happy to share it with him and therefore I expect he does same, we are talking someone you may get to spend the rest of your life with and you come up with this? So we should do as we please without regard to the other person? Please how would the world work if we all behave as you suggest?

If you are sharing your body, your time and everything. There is God oh ..... Please stop sharing, cos the more u share , the more u reason that u av right to his properties. Its like ure doing him a favour by sharing those things. This is not a favour or a time to return favour. Courtship is not politics. An Independent woman is one that can take care of herself well without her seeing a right to her guy's properties. See Matt 6:33 for more help.

So I created this thread to get better views on who/what people think/believe an independent woman is/should be. A lady (firstEva) talked about her boyfriend having two cars yet she has to 'trek' about town, asking if it isn't selfish of him not to give her one, now I see nothing wrong in her wanting to share her boyfriend's car, only thing is, she didn't ask but almost everyone sounded like she committed a heinous crime for even just harboring the thought of ever using his car, shior! .

I believe an independent woman is one who can take care of herself but that doesn't mean she can't ask her man for stuffs when she needs it and ofcourse he gets to do same.

I'm only asking because from what I read yesterday, people sounded like an Independent woman is one who doesn't ask her man for anything whatsoever, I come dey wonder, if I can share my body, my time, my brain, my energy etc with my man, what then is a 'ducking' car?

Since concept nova and rosabone finance share the same building. I guess they use the same HR. The interview was interesting and annoying . The company is Cool.

Concept Nova is a group company comprising of subsidiaries. One of its subsidiary is Rosabone finance limited at yaba and dats were Concept Nova is also. You need to google concept nova to get info abt the group . I was at rosabone finance last week for an interview anyway.
