The Lord said the palm tree has been cut at the top and the tree is a waste according to the prophecy of 2014.The palm tree represents the wealth of the nation.The land has been polluted with blood and the blood of the innocent are crying out daily says the Lord Almighty.Nigerian leaders have failed its citizenry i.e.the academia, traditional, judicial, political and religious leadership. They have failed to provide the right direction and sincere leadership.Conveying a national conference is not the answer to Nigeria's problems.It would not yield positive fruits because it is this same leaders,that were at the helm of affairs in the past,that are representing the people at the conference.We must all go back to our source says the Lord.
The Isrealites admitted their errors at different periods,seeked the Lord's forgiveness and returned to their source.David the king of Isreal,its political and administrative head,admitted his mistakes,seeked forgiveness and returned to his source.Jonah the prophet admitted his errors,seeked forgiveness and returned to his source.Psalm 130 vs 4" But with the Lord there is forgiveness".

The spiritual and religious leaders are responsible for the woes of the country says the Lord Almighty because they have failed in their primary duty. They have left their primary duty of being a shepherd and guide to the leaders of Nigeria instead they wine and dine with them. They have become errand men instead of being watchmen and the conscience of the society.
The Lord says there are 3 classes of people in the society, the spiritually called (spiritual and religious leaders), the society leaders (political, traditional, judicial, economic, family etc) and the populace .The Lord said the society leaders and the populace were to rally round and provide for the needs of the spiritually called. Numbers 18 vs. 20 “You will have no inheritance in their land nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and inheritance says the Lord”. You were wholly set apart for the Lord to be watchmen of the nation. The spiritually called were to guide and straighten the paths of the other sub groups E.g from the bible, Samuel and Saul/Isrealites, Joseph and Pharaoh, Ezra and the Israelites exiles, Micaiah/Elijah and Ahab, Nathan and David,Elisha and the Isrealites,The disciples and early Christians e.t.c.
However the Lord said the spiritual and religious leaders instead of being a light for the two sub groups have failed in their duty .They are walking in darkness. They have even initiated the society leaders and populace into darkness. Spiritual and religious leaders are now found in cult groups. How will they command respect when they are in the same occult groups with society leaders? What message will they be preaching? To spiritual and religious leaders who have polluted their calls hear the message from the Lord, Micah 3 vs. 5-7”The Lord’s people are deceived by prophets who promise peace to those who pay them but threaten war for those who don’t; To these prophets the Lord says, your day is almost over; the sun is going down on you: Because you mislead my people, you will have no more prophetic visions and you will not be able to predict anything. Those who predict the future will be disgraced by their failure. They will all be humiliated because God does not answer them”. You should be beacons of hope and faith for the people instead of illuminating light darkness surrounds you.
Judgment is coming on spiritual and religious leaders who are in darkness says the Lord Almighty. The sword of the Lord has been raised up to cut down the evil doers who pollute the land. Jer 23 vs. 12 “The paths they follow will be slippery and dark; I will make them stumble and fall; I am going to bring disaster on them: the time of their punishment is coming.”The land is polluted with the blood of the innocent, the land cries out for justice and atonement for the land can only be made with the blood of those who shed it, “Numbers 35 vs. 31-34.”
The Lord says he has sent out his word to spiritual and religious leaders to speak out against the ills of the society. To spiritual and religious leaders here is the message from the Lord; Amos 5 vs. 14”Make it your aim to do what is right not what is evil, so that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty really will be with you, as you claim he is; Hate what is evil, love what is right and see that justice prevails in the courts (nation).
Failure to do that means the blood of all the innocent killed, maltreated and oppressed with be on the spiritual and religious leaders’ heads. They can only save themselves by speaking out against the ills of the society.
This is the mandate which I, the Lord have given you, straighten the crooked path, let the people know the will of God and teach them to follow the Lord. The people came to meet the prophet Jeremiah saying to him ”Pray that the Lord our God will show us the way we should go and what we should do” Jer 42 vs. 3.

What sane nation and media will give audience to people who do not contribute intellectually, economically or academically to the nation? No-one likes negative prophecies but a prophet has to speak out what the Lord has sent him to say. Negative prophecies can be averted by intercessions and repentance by those involved.
Proverbially “THE PALM TREE OF NIGERIA HAS BEEN CUT AT THE TOP” and it is now useless. Nigeria is likened to those living in estates in the past but who have started living in mud houses. Chickens will still feed on each other. The ball has been broken what will the child now play with. I like building human Resources. I like people to be empowered. I like to train people to become useful in life, to their society and themselves maybe my training as a teacher has also moulded my character in this regard.

I feel happy and fulfilled. The Lord has been good and faithful to me. His covenant with me has been kept and our Lord Jesus Christ has never failed me since he called me. There have been challenges though but he has kept his promise. That is why the theme of the harvest is tagged” Harvest of Fulfillment”.
17. What kind of worshippers does the Lord desire in Celica Church of Christ?
Those with a pure heart, whose hands are clean and who denounces the occult, psalm 1 vs.1-4. As part of the tenets and doctrines which God descended for us in Celica Church of Christ we were told not to take hard drinks nor indulge in smoking. The spirit of God which works with the church does not like that likewise the spirit of God does not like anger, envy, jealousy, backbiting, adultery, fornication and all manners of evil intentions. The spirit of God cannot operate in such environment. Celica Church of Christ has no affiliation with the occult. Darkness has no shelter in light.
The spirit of God likes to operate in an environment of light, love, joy, purity and orderliness. Those who refuse to drop the sins in their hands, the Lord will eject from his presence. The Lord desires repentance and holiness.

10. Sir, some people criticitize your doctrines as not biblical what do you have to say on that?
It is God that sent down the tenets and doctrines of white garment churches generally and Celica Church of Christ specifically. Are you saying bowing down in reverence to our creator is wrong? Have you read Revelation 4 vs. 1-11? What of lighting candles in the altar? Read Revelation 4 vs. 5, Is speaking in tongues wrong, tongues which are not learnt formally but spiritual enabled Acts 2 vs. 4-6, Are you saying the wearing of white garment to church is bad when in Revelation 3:5 and Revelation 7:9, those who were saved were dressed in pure white. Are you also saying the use of incense is wrong, incense is prayer of saints check Rev. 5:8 and Rev. 8:3-4, Are you saying that child naming in the church is wrong when in fact as one who profess to follow our Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus was taken to the temple for dedication on the 8th day Luke 2 vs. 21-22. However, I have always told the church members that our Lord Jesus Christ is the doctrine that we don’t need to justify what we do the Holy spirit teaches and reminds us of all things ,John 14 vs. 26.
I need to say this,it is human beings, whom being who they are in nature, that do not conform with laid down divine instructions from God. There is no problem with the doctrines in white garment churches. It is the people who go against the wishes of God. Human beings are the most difficult to control among all creations of God. There will always be deviants in the society.
11. Why are there still problems in Nigeria despite the growing number of religious organizations in Nigeria?
Religious leaders are part of the problems facing the Nigerian nation and the world in general. As religious leaders you should be able to say the truth without fear or favour to those in power whenever the opportunity arises either in church services, events or any form of gathering where those in power are present. Whenever you have contact with them use the opportunity to tell them God’s mind. Spiritual and religious leaders should act like Peter Paul or Samuel. They can take the approach of Prophet Nathan when he wanted to talk to King David or take the approach of Samuel when he clashed King Saul depending on the circumstances or the instructions of God. Darkness cannot hide in light. Spiritual and religious leaders should be a light for the nation as our Lord Jesus Christ was a light for the world. Our call in the Lord’s vineyard should be paramount above all things.
12. Do you support Christians going into Nigeria’s politics?
I encourage not only Christians but also Muslims who have the fear of God to go into politics. No one is perfect but if you have the fear of God you will not bring unnecessary hardship on the populace. You will seek the wisdom and direction of God in piloting the affairs of the nation. King David was not perfect but he ruled with the fear, wisdom and directions of God however I do not think spiritual and religious leaders should join politics. My reason for this is because they have a divine call from God and that is what they should face. Spiritual and religious leaders must not tarnish the call of God in their lives. They must be neutral in politics. They should serve as mediators and arbitrators. They should serve as the spokesman of God and the people in any nation like Samuel,Ezekiel,Jeremiah,Micah etc
They should be the conscience of the nation. People must look up to them as a rallying point of truth in any given situation. My humble self as a spiritual leader who has a divine call from God will never join politics in any form. God has marked out my work for me that is to serve in his sanctuary.
13. Sir, what are your views on agitations for more resource control by the Niger Delta Region?
I am of the view that Nigeria would have witnessed greater development if we were still in regions.Each region would have harnessed their resources, discovered more resources and developed their regions. There would have been productive competition among the regions. The Niger Delta is advocating for more percentage about 50% from the derivation funds. The question is what have they done with the 13% derivation fund that is allocated to them. Let us assume we made 1 billion dollars from crude oil sales, 13% of which goes to the Niger Delta. How has this sum translated into development for the region imagine what 130 million dollars will do for the citizens if used for their benefit. It was even President Obasanjo that increased it from 3% to 13%.
Is it not from the same 13% derivation fund and allocation to the states in the region that some individuals stole billions of naira to stash away in foreign banks? The stolen money if it has even been stashed in Nigerian banks would have even helped the economy because banks will have more capital and greater funds to lend out to Nigerians. They do capital flight with our resources to foreign countries who will in turn lend us our“own” money. The governor of Edo state said at a summit sometime ago that even the 26% that accrued to the state governments have not been judiciously used by them. He said if our states have 26% development Nigeria would be better by 26% than it is presently.
14. What is the way out for the Nigerian nation?
It is so unfortunate Nigeria is in total spiritual darkness. Let the leaders seek the will of God for the nation and I am sure you will see positive changes. We should all turn back to the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul.
Failure to seek the will of God will lead to a spiritual revolution. The Moses that will liberate Nigeria is not yet here, the Joshua that will take Nigeria to the Promised Land is not yet here while the Josiah that will reform Nigeria is still on his way. The Lord will walk through Nigeria. The Lord has been predicting this through me for the past 7 years.

7. Sir, why was your son chosen as the successor to the priesthood?
I will start from the origin of his birth. The Lord told me he would send a son to me who will work in the vineyard with me. The Lord also told me he was a gift to my family hence, that I should christen him Samuel Oluwafijimi.
He was also anointed by Papa Oshoffa as a little boy when we were in Celestial Church of Christ. He also moved through the ranks in the Church hierarchy. If the Lord had said I should anoint someone else I would. Moses had two sons but he asked the Lord for his successor and Lord told him Joshua. That is the process in a spiritual church. You must allow God to dictate the tune, pace and direction.
8.Sir, can you tell us about some specific encounters you had with God.
I was taken to heaven in a trance some years back; I had the grace to be taken to the throne of God Almighty. As I was approaching the throne I saw a very radiant light that I couldn’t look at. As I moved closer to the throne, my head was turned backwards but the Lord placed my hand on the throne saying this is the throne of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. It was there I knew no-one could truly see God like Moses was told. You know he was hidden in a cleft while the goodness of the Lord passed by Exodus 33 vs. 18-23.
On a particular day, I think in year 1997, the Lord told me he wanted to assess the men of God in Nigeria to see how they were performing the duties he assigned them. The Lord told me to look carefully as they will be passing by.I was surprised by the appearance of a very prominent pastor. His body was full of maggots. The Lord interpreted what I saw thus that the man of God appear holy on the outside but he was rotten on the inside. I saw different men of God who had affiliation with the occult. The Lord said his judgment will start from his house unless there is total repentance. This vision really saddened me because there I saw that many of those who were supposed to be shepherds of the flock were leading them astray.
If Christendom is not careful people might lose faith in the Lord yet he is still on the throne neither sleeping nor slumbering psalm 121 vs.3-5.The Lord told me secrets will be revealed and judgment will come on men of God who pollute their calls or mix with the occult. The Lord has been repeating this for the past 5 years vengeance is coming on leaders (Religious, traditional, political, judicial and economic) who are in the occult they will be disgraced and will be swept away. Jeremiah 23 vs. 10-12” the land is full of adulterers; the prophets follow an evil course and use their power unjustly; both the prophet and priest are godless; even in my temple I find their wickedness declares the Lord; therefore their paths will become slippery; they will be banished to darkness and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them in the year they are punished, declares the Lord”.
Judgment will start from the house of the Lord. Woe to shepherds who are caught in the cross fire of the Lord. It is not too late to repent and retrace their step. The church should expose darkness, it should never harbor darkness in its midst. The sword of the Lord is dangling and ready to sweep away all evil doers.
I realized after seeing this vision that our Lord Jesus Christ was the one and only true shepherd of flock.I now realized why the Lord at the inception of Celica Church of Christ said the pastors of our parishes should be addressed as Irijus (Pastor’s representatives). That is why I always say Jesus Christ is the founder and shepherd of Celica Church of Christ, I am only his Iriju.


9. Sir, Some people insinuate that white garment churches worship angels, what is your response to this?
It is not true we worship angels in white garment churches. Angels are God’s divine messengers and they do God’s bidding. He sends them on errands. There are angels for deliverance, protection, blessings, favour, mercy etc. Do not forget angels visited Abraham and brought good news to his wife, Gen 18 vs. 9 -15, an angel pronounced God’s blessing on Jacob Gen 32 vs. 24-28, an angel appeared to Joshua to fight on Israel’s behalf, Joshua 5 vs.13-15, an angel brought good news of the birth of son’s (John the Baptist and Jesus Christ) to both Elizabeth and Mary respectively, Luke 1 vs. 11- 36. We are masters over Angels as Psalm 8 vs.4-8 has revealed. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the one we worship generally in white garment churches and specifically in Celica Church of Christ.
Let me cite two examples, the prayer pattern of Celica Church of Christ is “To God the father, To God the Son, To God the Holy Spirit and that of Celestial Church of Christ is Jehovah, Jesus Christ, Holy Michael. Where in the prayer patterns cited are the angels honoured above God. God is the ultimate. The bible said the anti-Christ is the one who does not acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, 1st John 2 vs.22”Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ; such a man is the antichrist-he denies the father and the son”. In all our pamphlets and altars whose picture is there, it is that of our Lord Jesus Christ. What does that tell you? That Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour.

3.Sir, Can you explain better those words Papa Oshoffa said to you, Odo Kan, Orisun Kan meaning One River, One Source,?
Moses heard directly from the source, Aaron was not the one who God called directly he was only an assistant to Moses. You can see he almost led the Israelites astray when he moulded a golden calf for them when Moses was on the mountain where the Lord was giving him the Ten Commandments Exodus 32 vs.1-7. Peter, John, Matthew, Paul and the Lord’s disciples also had direct calls. They knew the consequences of their actions and they always taught the early Christians the tenets of God, what the Lord desires from those who worship him. They never failed to subject all decisions to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus Christ knew his source, knew where he was coming from, what he came to do and where he was going. That is the foundation of those words.
4. What is the main mission of your ministry,sir?
It is simple, to preach about our Lord Jesus Christ, call people to repentance, show people the way of salvation, heal the broken hearted, released the oppressed, free those in the bondage of the kingdom of Satan, helping people get fulfillment and joy in the Lord and enjoying the blessing of God. My call can be found in Isaiah chapters 60 and 61.Let me quote Isaiah 61 vs. 1” the spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed, me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners”.
5. How has the experiences been in the Lord’s vineyard, sir?
It has been full of challenges it has been no easy task in administering a church. You know the church is the sanctuary of God. The mission of the church is the salvation of souls for Christ, deliverance of the afflicted and oppressed and the reconciliation of people with our Lord Jesus Christ and the church must be run in line with the tenets and doctrines of God.
6. Sir, what are types of miracles have taken place since the inception of the church?
I told you earlier in the first part of the interview that the Lord works his miracles and that healings take place more often. The Lord had been working his miracles and healings since he called me. I will briefly state the miracles and healings the Lord Jesus Christ has performed through me since 1980;
There was a woman named Mrs. Ajongbolo who was over 50 years and she gave birth to a baby girl called Iyanu-oluwa. It was truly a miracle if you know what had transpired. The woman usually has a menstrual cycle flow for close to 15days each month. She was introduced to the church in 1997, she told me her problem and I told her to take water from a well sanctified by the Lord. The water is called Omi Iyanu (Miracle Water).
She also had fibroid according to a test she had carried out in the hospital but the Lord told me there was a baby growing in the midst of the fibroid that was why I told her to take the water. She took it for 9months and she was delivered of a baby girl through a caesarian operation by the grace of God.
There was also a couple that came to me they were childless for many years. I started a process of prayers for them for close to 6 months without any positive change. I asked God what the problem was and Lord revealed that the woman had a secret which she was keeping. I spoke to the woman in confidence and the woman confided that her womb had been damaged and she doesn’t want her husband to know. You can see my dilemma; our work is similar to the work of both a legal and medical practitioner who cannot reveal secrets of their clients. I prayed to God and God said the couple only needed to be consistent in their prayers and do the spiritual works according to the instructions he lays down. The Lord said he will visit them soon. During one of the services in the week, the spirit of the Lord descended on her and she fell into a trance. The Lord told me to ask for whatever I want him to do for her and I pleaded with the Lord to repair and restore her womb. I saw angels descending, they looked like surgeons and they were operating on her with surgical instruments. I was overjoyed and rolled on the floor praising the Lord for his mighty acts. Some hours later the woman came around, she too said she saw some people working surgically on her and she said she felt different physically. To the glory of God, she conceived less than 4months later and gave birth to a beautiful male child.
I also remember the case of a boy called Wasiu who was paralyzed and crooked. The Lord raised him up after spending about 8 weeks in the church. The Lord said he should be brushed with palm fronds three times daily, bath in the river three times daily and that he should be sanctified with incense three times daily. That was how the Lord healed him.
There have been a lot of miracles and healings by our Lord Jesus Christ in this church right from our days in Celestial Church that this auditorium would not have accommodated the number of people that have been healed from affliction, delivered from the clutches of darkness and oppression. All glory goes to our Lord Jesus Christ who is the miracle worker.

Emmanuel Adetunji Abiodun Akanji Adeonigbagbe was born on Christmas day December 25th, 1951 in the town of Oke-Odan, Ilaro, Ogun State. Before his birth there had been a prophecy which was given to his mother that her first child would be male and an instrument whom God will use powerfully. She was further warned that no herbs or incisions should be used on him.He left the Celestial Church of Christ as a senior Evangelist in 1992. He is a patron of Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), Christian Association of Nigeria, Association of Aladura Churches and Bible Society of Nigeria all in Oyo State. The Lord had been consistently showing him in a vision since 1980, a golden cup which was full of dirt inside and outside. The Lord told him to wash the cup, as he washed the cup, it became dirtier each time he washed it. The Lord told him that if he was not allowed to wash the cup, he should ask for a new golden cup but he continually declined until 1992 when his mouth was opened spiritually to ask for the descent of the new cup. That was when Celica Church of Christ was established. At the inception of the church Prophet Moses Orimolade Tunolase, Founder, Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, Founder ,Christ Apostolic Church and Rev. Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa, Founder, Celestial Church of Christ all of blessed memory appeared to him and they all went round the church auditorium seven times. After going round the church they told him their assignment on earth was complete and they passed the spiritual baton to him.
This interview was conducted in December,2013 and prophet Adeonigbagbe talked about a lot of issues his early childhood,Celica Church of Christ; its mandate,succession and worshippers, White garment churches,Christendom,National issues.I present excerpts of the interview.

1.Sir, can you share with us some of your experiences with your grandmother and mother?
My granny always made sure I paid tithe. She was God fearing, dedicated and zealous to religious activities. My mother used my school fees to help the leader in charge of her church to offset a bill he incurred. The debt would have bought disrepute to the church and she didn’t want that. My mother told me what she wanted to do and I just told her God will provide alternative for me. The prophet prayed for her that her son will become a great man (Ori Apesin).. God has really manifested himself in my life. All I am today is through the Lord’s grace and not by my might or perfection.
2.Sir, can you share with us some visions establishing the foundation of Celica Church of Christ.
I was not the only one shown the visions concerning the church. Different people from both Christendom and the Islamic sect attested to it. I will briefly mention some, Most Senior Bishop (Proffessor) S.A. Bode then the head of prophets/prophetesses forum in Celestial Church of Christ, Yemetu, Ibadan was told by God he had chosen a pastor for himself. He (Bode) thought a new Pastor for the Celestial Church of Christ but he never knew what plan God had in mind. He was in his house one day when a Celestial prophet in spirit came to his house; he told him he was going to be shown the new pastor. He told prophet Bode to get a chalk as they were on the way. On getting to the church then Celestial Church of Christ, Km 7, New Ife Road, Ibadan they did not meet me in the premises. The prophet requested for the chalk, wrote on my office door the spiritual word “EPASTORAL” which means the Pastor and said he (Adeonigbagbe) would know the Spirit of God had visited him. It was this sign that Prophet Bode saw and which the Lord interpreted to him that is the pastor I have chosen, follow him. He later joined us when series of other visions were shown to him to buttress the coming of Celica Church of Christ. This is a man close to 90 years now and who joined the Celestial church in the 60s.The second person I will mention is Most Superior Evangelist Jeremiah Alabi, a shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ at Ojoo,Ibadan. He was sent in 1992 from Port Novo, Benin Republic by the late Prophet Agbaossi. He said they had just finished a 21days fasting and prayers when Papa Agbaossi called him that a new Pastor had been anointed by our Lord Jesus Christ. He told him to go to go to Celestial Church of Christ, Km 7, Ibadan, Nigeria.
According to Prophet Alabi, he said he asked Papa Agbaossi how he would know whom the Lord had chosen. Prophet Agbaossi told him that as soon as you see him the Holy Spirit will show you a sign and reveal him to you. I was in the church premises that day with different prophets; I was not wearing any ceremonial garment which could have distinguished me physically as the Pastor. Immediately he sighted me, he just said you are the chosen one, the pastor of Celica Church of Christ Worldwide. He has come back about five times between 2011 till date as directed by the Holy Spirit to see how the glory of God has manifested itself from 1992.
Lastly, I want to talk about the liberation rock in front of my residence, Celica power house. I moved to the house in 1993 when I bought the land I never even noticed the rock in front of it. A surprising event happened one day a man a, Muslim by religion, came to visit me with a friend of his one day as I was escorting them out of the house the spirit of God took hold of him and he started running round the vicinity of the rock shouting God is great, I am the Almighty God, I have descended my divine power on this rock, it will be a place of prayers where people will be liberated from oppression and the shackles of evil. That was how I later bought the rock and the Lord told me to sanctify it for prayers. The Lord said we should hold liberation night vigils on it every first Monday in a month. To the glory of God; the Lord has been performing his wonders since then till date. This event buttresses the call I had from God these people are alive to verify this claims. I repeat I would have still being a Celestial member if I had no direct call to establish a church from our Lord Jesus Christ. I have always told people words of Gamaliel in Acts 5 vs. 34 -39 “For if their purpose or activity is of human origin,it will fail; but if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men;you will only find yourselves fighting against God”.

Conclusion

Prophecies are actually promises that God will perform all that the prophecy presents.The difference between the old testament and new testament is simply one word,blotting out sins with the blood of animals while the new testament washes our sins away once and for all with the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.He made the ultimate sacrifice for us all.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said himself “I have not come to abolish the law but to fulfill them” Matt 5 vs. 17. He came to fulfill all the promises of God in the Old Testament through its performances in the New Testament. We however do not to offer the blood of animals to atone for our sins because the promised one, our Lord Jesus Christ has used his blood to atone for our sins, Hebrews 9 vs. 7-14”he entered the most Holy place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption”. We therefore have a new covenant with Christ our saviour.
One cannot meditate upon the foregoing selected messianic citation without realizing how the Lord Jesus Christ permeates the Bible. How wonderfully He is woven into the texture of such a divine revelation! He is everything from A to Z in the bible. These first and last letters of the Greek alphabet are used by Jesus himself –‘’ I am first and the last” Revelation 22:13. Whether we think of creation, revelation, redemption, or experience, Christ is the beginning and the end.‘’ Christ is the end, for Christ was the beginning, Christ was the beginning for the end is Christ.’’

As to His intercession for His crucifiers-
Promise- He made intercession for the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:12

Performance –then said Jesus, father forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34

As to his ultimate death –
Promise- “he hath poured out his soul unto death.” Isaiah 53:12

Performance – “Jesus when he had cried out again with a loud voice yielded up the ghost.” Matthew 27:50

As to His being pierced-
Promise-“they shall look upon me whom they have pierced.” Zechariah 12:10

Performance – “one of the soldiers pierced his side……..they shall look on him whom they pierced.” John 19:34, 36

As to his burial-
Promise-“he made his grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death.”Isaiah 53:9

Performance-“when Joseph had the body it in his own new tomb.” Matthew 27:57-60

As to His glorious resurrection –
Promise –“for thou wilt not leave my soul in hell (or grave).”Psalm 16:10

As to salvation of Gentiles –

As to His universal dominion-
Promise-“he shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the end of the earth.” psalm 72:8
“There was given unto him dominion, glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nation, and languages should serve him.”Daniel 7:14

Performance-“at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ………that every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord.”

As to the perpetuity of His kingdom-
Promise- “The throne of David to establish it with Judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever.” Isaiah 9:7

Performance- ‘’He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end; Luke 1:33.

As to His Galilean ministry –
Promise – “In Galilee of the nations. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light” Isaiah 9:1,2

Performance – “Jesus departed into Galilee…………………. Galilee of the Gentiles, The people which sat in darkness saw a great light” Matthew 4:12-17,23


As to His appearance in the Temple –
Promise – “I will fill this house with glory” Haggai 2:7,9

Performance – “Jesus went into the temple of God.” Matthew 21:12; Luke 2:27-32
As to His parabolic teaching –
Promise – “I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old” Psalm 78:2

Performance – I will open my mouth in a parable, I will utter things which have been kept secret” Matthew 13:35

As to His miraculous ministry –
Promise – “God will come……….. then the eyes of the blind shall be opened and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped” Isaiah 35:4-6

As to His undeserved reproach –

As to His rejection by His brethren –
Promise – “I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children” Psalm 69:8; Isaiah 63:3,5

Performance – “ He came unto his own and his own received him not His brethren, therefore said unto him. Depart hence” John 1:11, 7:3 “ Neither did his brethren believe in him” John 7:5

As a stone of stumbling to the Jews –
Promise – “He shall be …………..a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the house of Israel” Isaiah 8:14

Performance – “ They stumbled at that stumbling stone” Romans 9:32. 33

As to His encounter with Jewish hatred-
Promise- ‘’ They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head.’’ Psalm 69:4
‘’To Him whom man despiseth, to Him whom the nation abhorreth.’’ Isaiah 49:7.
Performance- ‘’ He that hated me… They have both seen and hated both me and my father.’’ John15:23-25.

As to His rejection by Jew and Gentiles-
Promise-‘’the Kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and His anointed.’’ Psalm2:1, 2

Performance-‘’ Pilate and Herod were made friends together for before they were at enmity between themselves. Luke 23:12.
The Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together. Acts 4; 25-29

As to His betrayal by a friend-
Promise-‘’yea, mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up His heel against me.’’ Psalm 41:9 ‘’ it was not an enemy that reproached me… it was those … mine acquaintance.’’ Psalm55:12-14.

Performance-‘’He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me… One of you shall betray me.’’ John 13:18, 21

Promises Relative to Christ:

These outstanding Old Testament Messianic promises along with their New Testament performances are cited to buttress John 1 vs 1”in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. Our Lord Jesus Christ has been in existence from the creation.
As the external Son of God –
Promise – “Thou art My Son this day I have begotten Thee. Psalm 2:7
Performance – “He shall be called the Son of Highest…………… He shall be called the Son of God” Luke 1:32, 35 “Thou art my Son” Acts 13:30-39

As the Seed of the Woman –
Promise – “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” Genesis 3:15

As to His entrance into public ministry –
Promise – “To Preach good tiding unto the meek……….. to bind up the brokenhearted………. to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” Isaiah 61:1-2

Performance – “Jesus came to Nazareth …………..opened the book. He found the place where it was written………. I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also” Luke 4:16-21. 43

Christ and the Bible then cannot be separated. The written Word and the Living Word are one. Christ is the secret of the structural, historical, prophetical doctrinal and spiritual aspects of the Bible. Christ gives value to the Bible not the Bible to Christ.
In our quest for truth, whether we deal with facts or figures, prophecies or promises, let us realize that the secret of interpretation is to find the Man Christ Jesus on the back, because all Scriptures exists to reveal Him. It brings sustenance to our souls when we discover how Christ and Scriptures are similarly presented. For instance, think of these features

1. Both are called the Word of God “His name is called the word of God
Revelation 19:13, John 1:1 “The Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” 1st Peter 1:23, the living and enduring word of God”’
2. Both are spoken of as Truth “I am the Truth” John 14:6, full of truth” John1:14 and all thy commandments are truth Psalm119:151.
3. Both are described as light. “In Him was life and the life was the light of men” John 1 vs. 4 and“ The law is light” Psalm 119:105
4. Both are defined as Life “ I am the Life” John 14:6 and “Holding forth the word of life Philippians 2:16
5. Both are praised as being precious “Unto you which believe he is precious” 1st Peter 2:7.
6. Both are extolled as being wonderful “ His name shall be called Wonderful” Isaiah 9:6 and “ Thy testimonies are wonderful” Psalm 119:129
7. Both are written of as being tried. “I lay in Zion………..a tried stone” Isaiah 28:16 “The word of the Lord is tried” Psalm 18:30

WHY THE OLD TESTAMENT CANNOT BE SEPERATED FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT?

The Old Testament is the word of God .It cannot be changed because there are hundreds of definite prophecies or promises of Christ in the Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament respectively. People talk about white garment churches practicing the Old Testament .Thus the question is does the Old Testament not contain the word of God. Can it be separated from the bible? It is wrong because the bible will not be complete without the whole 66 books. The New Testament is hidden in the Old Testament while the Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament.
There are two items which must be isolated from the Old Testament, the person promised and the promised person.
After God’s first promise of Christ as “the seed of the woman” (Genesis 3:15). He is never lost sight of in the Old Testament as the Promised One. In all of its 39 books, there is the air of expectancy. Someone is coming! Hundreds of years before Christ came God graciously unveiled Him. It has been asserted that exclusive of numberless typical predictions of Him, that “the prophecies and references to Christ in Old Testament Scriptures, which are expressly cited in the New Testament, either as predictions fulfilled in Him, or as provisions applied to Him, number not less than 333.” Therefore, it is with utmost confidence that we can affirm that He dominates the Old Testament, and is before us as the One who is the Substance of its messages and the Goal of its hope. All its avenues lead to Him. He is the golden thread binding the diverse books together, giving them an amazing unity.

He is the key to Old Testament promises, profiles and pictures.

“In the volume of the book it is written of Me.” Hebrews 10:7.

Our Lord Jesus Christ made us a promise in the book of John 14 vs. 26 “the Holy Spirit will come and help you because the father will send the spirit to take my place. The spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I said while I was with you”.It is the Holy Spirit that revealed to us that Our Lord Jesus Christ has existed from time immemorial.

The altar had being sealed for 21 days according to the directives of God and it was re-opened during the anniversary celebration. At the inception of the church in 1992 the altar was sealed for 3 months and was also re-opened during the 1992 prophets’ week anniversary.
There was also investiture of prophets who had spent 21 years in the church: it was in three categories, Grand Commander Order of Prophets, Commander Order of Prophets and Officer Order of prophets. The founder appreciated the efforts of the director of the prophets’ guild Assistant Preacher O.S Oladepo and the prophets committee for their efforts in organizing a very successful anniversary .He prayed for God’s blessings on all present and for God’s protection throughout the year 2013.

Prophets and priests from different denominations graced the occasion. Among the dignitaries at the occasion were the Most Elder Apostle Solomon Alao, Spiritual Head, Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide, Oke-Seni, Ibadan. He said he had to cancel his trip abroad to celebrate the occasion with Celica Church of Christ. He admonished the founder to remain steadfast as he had been in the Lord through the years. He said challenges will always come but the Lord will always strengthen his own to overcome them. Baba Aladura Alao said he wanted prophet Adeonigbagbe to join him in speaking out against the ills in Christendom and the nation. We must join hands in praying for Nigeria. There were problems across all facets of the society and men of God must rise up to the challenge he said. Primate Alao said he was happy that there were still men of God like prophet Adeonigbagbe who can speak boldly and fearlessly to the leadership of the Nigerian society. He prayed for the grace of God to continue to uphold all the prophets in the church.

He advised them to always make themselves available for prophetic duties and night vigils. He encouraged them to always read and meditate on the word of God these are the nourishments for spiritual development .Prophet Adeonigbagbe shared some of his experiences in the ministry with the congregation. He said if he had any association with the occult he would not be bold to speak out against dark forces or face them.Everyone should rest on the rock of ages, the omnipotent, omniscience, omnipresence and creator of the whole universe the founder admonished. Jesus Christ has been the foundation that I have looked up to and he never fails anyone who depends on him he said.

He enjoined all present to worship the Lord in truth, purity and with devotion. God does not need anything from us but to worship him in reverence and humility. He cautioned the prophets’ guild to always be humble, dedicated and zealous in doing the work of God. Prophets must be upright, honest, focused and exemplary in their conduct. Being a prophet is a special privilege from God: it is not that you are the most perfect: it is just a grace bestowed by God on you said prophet Adeonigbagbe. He urged them to be wary of those things which can derail prophets, disobedience to God’s directives, dishonesty, love for pleasures of life and not having absolute faith in God Almighty. He urged them to study the causes of derailment of King Saul, Eli and his sons, Abiathar, Judas Iscariot and learn from their mistakes.

The 21st prophets’ anniversary took place at the international headquarters of Celica Church of Christ,Km 7,New Ife road,Ibadan. The founder Prophet(Dr) Adetunji Adeonigbagbe gave the sermon from the book of psalms 34 vs. 9.The theme of the sermon was”Fear the Lord; you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing”. The founder said prophets were regarded as special before the Lord. If the Lord regards you as a special breed then you should do things which edify the Lord.You should fear the Lord and revere him.Anyone that puts his hope, aspirations and trust before his creator will never lack any good thing. He will be blessed by the Lord. The blessing of the Lord is what prophets should aspire for. They should not be enticed with worldly things which could derail them in the position of responsibility which God has placed on them he said.

25.What are the keys to prayers been answered?
You know there 3 things God hates which he does not want us to do (i) He does not like us go hungry when we have food to eat (fasting) because he has provided for our needs read Gen 1 vs 26-28
(ii) He does not like us not to rest/sleep because he himself rested on the 7th day after creating mankind and the universe. In the sense i am talking about night vigil we engage in ,Gen 2 vs 2.
(iii) He does not like us to wear sack cloths when we have money to buy clothes. It means we humbled ourselves before him, we admit we are dust before our creator. To buttress this whenever David erred he removed his royal garments and wore sack clothes. The worst king in Israel history, Ahab was pardoned at a particular time in the bible where he heard God's word, rip his royal robes and wore sack clothes. 1st Kings 21 vs. 18 -29.If you are able to combine these three things prayers are easily answered.
26. What are your views on the educational system, healthcare system and high rate of unemployment in Nigeria?
I believe public schools (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary) are still the best in the educational system. It saddens me seeing the rot in the educational system, the deficiency in curriculum content and the deplorable physical structure because many of those in power now went to these schools. These public schools products offered them the best in curriculum content and facilities. How can they not do something to bring it to standard?
The alumni and the government should help these schools. The private sector should also be brought in to assist. A committee should be set up and all public schools in urban, semi – urban and rural areas collated. A needs assessment of each individual school should be drawn up and the alumni, government and private sector can help provide facilities and education materials for these school.
Healthcare facilities are nothing to write home about. At a period in the 1960s UCH,Ibadan was the best in West Africa likewise our other teaching hospitals but unfortunately it is not anymore. It was President Obasanjo that revamped about 8 teaching hospitals between 1999-2007.Nigeria used to be a destination of medical tourism in the past .India,Isreal and South Africa are now the preferred choices for our citizens. Government needs to be take a holistic and sincere approach to the challenges of our healthcare system. On the high rate of unemployment Nigeria needs to take this issue seriously .Malaysia,India,Singapore and China were once labeled 3rd world countries like Nigeria. Nigerian leaders need to be sincere in tackling the challenges facing Nigeria. Nigeria must become a producer economy not a consumer and service economy. Adequate power generation is critical as the base for industrial revolution with adequate power .industries will be opened. Government also needs to look at alternative sources of revenue and employment. Agriculture, Sport and Tourism can adequately fill the void. We must be less dependent on oil.
27. Sir, despite the proliferation of churches Nigeria is still not moving forward can we say we are not serving God enough?
It is not that we are not serving God it is just that we are married to 4 wives who are disturbing our lives. The 4 wives are money, position, power and fame. These 4 wives are prostitutes that everyone loves. Everyone wants to marry them without minding the consequences. These 4 wives are the ones ruling the household instead of the husband. It’s so unfortunate that some religious leaders are caught in the trap of the 4 wives.

28. What is the solution to the problems in Nigeria?
Nigeria has been polluted with the blood of the innocent shed by people aspiring for positions of leadership and also at every level of the society. It is so unfortunate Nigeria is in total darkness and moving backwards each day. Nigeria has been taken over by dark forces however a ray of light will destroy the darkness. Nigeria’s ship is sinking who will save it from capsizing. The spiritual council is the answer. The technicalities have been sent to the federal government since 1992.Everyone has failed us we need to look to God for direction. Let the prophets of God who are in spirit and steadfast in truth be members of the council. It should be replicated at all levels of government, national, state and local. Let them seek the will of God for the nation and I am sure you will see positive changes if the government of the day will adhere to the will of God. Let us pray they obey and listen to the word of God.

29. What is your message for Nigeria?
We should all turn back to the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul. We should dedicate ourselves to the cause of humanity. We should be ready to be our brother’s keeper.

21.What are some of your experiences in the vineyard?
Two women came to see me in Church one day, the spirit of God told me both of them were carrying fetish objects in their bag. I told them that you should have dropped “the thing” in your bag outside the church premises before coming to see me. They looked at me and shook their heads, they said we are just coming from a church now and no – one noticed anything, Sir, your Church cannot have many members with the way you reveal things like this. I told them that I would rather have a few members who will make heaven than multitudes of people who still go after worthless idols and fetish things. They left angrily.
Let me narrate another encounter I had with a fellow man of God. He told me friend you have to know your way if you want to be very prominent.I will show you something tomorrowhe said. He came to my house and brought out an idol,he chanted some incantations and the idol started walking. I said in the name of Jesus Christ, fall down and never rise again. It fell and I told my friend make that incantation on it again if it walks then Jesus Christ is not on the throne. He chanted but the idol could not rise up again.He left shamed faced you see Isa 44
Satan is powerful no doubt but powerless before the Lord. He knows the bible, have you forgotten he tempted our Lord Jesus Christ. When I was in Erunmu, a woman came openly to challenge the power of God in me. In the spiritual realm, she took me to a thick forest, she chanted some incantations the entrance was revealed, inside the forest we saw a huge fat woman and she paid homage to her. The huge fat woman had a lion lying against her. She said young man, I was told you are gifted, join us let us make you more powerful. I told her the power of the Lord Jesus Christ was the ultimate. She got angry, chanted incantations, fire came out, the earth shook, different animals came to her side, she showed all manner of occultic powers, I was simply looking at her when she finished, she said what you can do now. I lifted my hands up and just recited Ps 24 vs 1 “the earth is the Lord’’
When I uttered this the fat woman gave a huge cry and collapsed on the floor. It was that day I knew how powerful psalm 24 was. I told the woman that challenged me that look at your leader the power of the Lord had arrested her. She begged me to revive her.
I tapped her three time and said wake up in the name of Jesus Christ, she woke up then. I simply told her your powers are worthless before the power of the Lord therefore look unto the rock of ages.
22.Your predictions are usually not seen in the public domain yet you utter accurate prediction each year. What is the reason behind it?
Yes, thank you. You see the messages from God are usually sent to the individuals, institutions, government or nations concerned. We however discover most times the messages from the Lord are not strictly adhered to; they are thrown to the dustbin. Most times the effect is usually on the populace. It mostly the disobedience of those in authority that breeds chaos and disasters which is avoidable. We want people to know that God still speaks from his throne but it is people who fail to listen. As long as I live on earth I will always speak out whatever the Lord tells me. I will never join the bandwagon of those who call black blue or red white. Prophecies regarded by some as negative are meant for correction. It is unfortunate that there are multitudes of false prophets yet there are still 7000 who have never bowed down for Baal. What I am saying in essence there are still true men of God in Nigeria who acts only on the instruction of God. I have always told people to take my name anywhere that I don’t belong to any cult group around the globe. I, Emmanuel Adetunji Abiodun Akanji Adeonigbagbe son of Alice, have never and will never dine with darkness. This reminds me of an incident that happened in 1998, a man named Samson Sangobiyi came to the church on a Sunday, as the service was going on and he came out that he had been making some signs for close to an hour. He said he wanted to know which occult I belong to but he was surprised I didn’t respond to any of his signs. He said many men of God were in different cults and once he makes those signs they respond. He was therefore surprised because he was a temple Lord of many occult groups. I laughed and told him to take my name for further enquires that he would never find my name there. He came back that their grand master told him never to bring such a name into their temple again. That was what convinced him and he renounced his membership. I don’t even know where the power of God is hidden in me, Agbara Awamaridi, the unsearchable power of God. It is unlike that of an herbalist/sorcerer who swallows a gourd or wears an amulet they know where the source of their power is. They have limitations once their source of power is located they are powerless spiritually. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of my spiritual power and he has never failed me. I must never bow down for idols or fraternize with the occult. That has been the warning I was given by Jesus Christ since I was called and I abide by that strictly.I stand on the foundation of Jesus Christ. The name and power of Jesus is enough for me.

24. What are the things a prophet needs to do to avoid derailment?
Firstly, he must always listen to the voice of God who called him. He must obey his directives. Adam was the first prophet, he had the gift of dreams and the power of speech. He failed to listen to Gods voice and derailed. Secondly, you must read the word of God, the bible and let the Holy Spirit guide you in understanding it. You must let the wisdom of God take over your life and not your own knowledge
Finally, you must obey the two laws of our Lord Jesus Christ (1) love the Lord with all your heart,soul and mind (2) love your neighbor like yourself. If you do this you are fulfilling the wishes of our father in heaven. This is why Celica Church of Christ we do have a prophets gathering (company of prophets) where our prophets are guided in fulfilling their spiritual duties. A prophet must do whatever God tells him to do.

16.Who is a Prophet?
A prophet is a mouth piece of God. He is a mediator between our Lord Jesus Christ and man.
A true prophet will only say or do what he hears from God or what God has directed him to do. There are 3 categories of prophets,
(i) Generational prophets – Their words, power, prophecies and deeds are still talked about for many generations. Their spiritual power is still manifesting even though they are dead physically but spiritually they are still alive. From the bible examples like Abraham, Moses, Samuel, Elijah, Elisha, Peter, Paul.As examples= the dead body of Elisha raised up the dead, When Elijah was taken up to heaven Elisha used his mantle which fell down to part the waters,God speaking to Moses said to him, I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. In recent times we have had Anointed Prophets like Orimolade (C&S), Babalola (CAC), Oshoffa (Celestial).
(ii) Periodic Prophets – They are prophets for a particular period. They were sent for a specific purpose for that period in time e.g biblical prophets like Jonah, Nathan (1st kings 22 vs 24), prophet Ahijah (1kings 14 vs 1), Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Micah, Zephaniah, Malachi.
(iii) The third category- Prophets under a call. These are prophets under or within another person’s call. They excel more when they are under someone e.g Elisha and company of prophets.
This is the first step to avoid derailment you must recognize your type of call. To buttress this points all the various factional heads of C & S, CAC, Celestial are under the call of the founders of these denominations..I mentor younger prophets both within the fold and outside because I don’t want them to derail from their calls. I share my experiences in the vineyard with them. Not every one is called to be a prophet, it is by grace and so you need the grace of God to sustain you spiritually
17. What are the categories of men of God as you see it today?
Well there are those who are truly called by Christ like Moses, Elisha, Samuel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, then there are those who were truly called by Christ initially but who have polluted their calls like Judas Iscariot, Gehaz or got involved in the occult and finally there are those that called themselves.
18.Why do people go to prophets for consultation?
It is because they are the mouth piece of God. It is for spiritual Guidance, to learn God’s mind and for deeper understanding of what God’s wants though you can read the bible but the Holy Spirit needs to reveal things to you. The difference is that the mysteries in the words of God are revealed to the prophets as an example our Lord Jesus Christ simplified the law for us.Many statements that were too difficult to comprehend he explained them with ease.Remember also the centurion did not understand what he was reading in the bible and Phillip explained better to him.Let me cite another example psalm 24 came out when Michael was struggling with Lucifer over the body of Moses and Michael used the words to counter Lucifer. The Lord put the words into the heart of King David and he wrote them down .On mount Horeb God revealed to Moses all that had happened from the beginning of creation till the time of Moses. I work full time in the Lord’s vineyard. Not everyone can be a prophet as it is as fact that not every one can be a doctor, Engineer, Lawyer, and accountant. If you are sick you may take some drugs but if you do not get better you go to a higher authority for consultation as regards your ailment.The problem nowadays is the proliferation of the prophetic class. You can see Nathan guided King David when he was wrong, the priest guided Josiah to do the right things and our Lord Jesus Christ guided the apostles and explained what God wants to do, the apostles in turn,Peter James, John, Paul guided the new converts in the ways of God.This is what our Lord Jesus Christ said that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things and remind us of the former things.it is unfortunate there are multitudes of people around claiming to be prophets and they end up confusing people instead of enlighten them.

19.What are your views on Miracles and Healings ?
Miracles do not occur often but healing is what normally takes place. I am not saying there is no miracles there are and it still happens.Healing is a process that takes a period of time from days, weeks, months because the affliction to a person most times did not start in a day. In Celica Church of Christ, this is what normally takes place – let me cite an example a girl with diabetes was brought to the Church, the Lord said I should pray on honey with 21 cubes of sugar dipped in it. The girl was told to take it for 21 days with the water.She got better and she was healed. She went back to the hospital for check-up and it confounded even the medical personnel. Also on a particular day God gave me a name to use in which to raise any dead person whose time on earth was not up. Some months later I was phoned that someone had died, I got to the place and went to a room to meditate. I was waiting for instructions from God. I hear from God before embarking on anything. He told me what to do and the dead man was revived by the grace of God..
It does not mean because I lay my hands on someone to relieve the person of headache yesterday that I will do the same thing for another person with headache tomorrow. The Lord might say I should use water to heal that person or pour perfume on his head. Each case though almost similar physically require different processes spiritually. That is a prophet for you.
20. Can all these be true miracles and healings?
Yes, our Lord Jesus Christ said to his apostles/disciples that you will do greater things than I did even in his life time he commissioned them in Matt to go out and you saw that Peter made the cripple work through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ just like Jesus did for the paralytic man of 38 years. As it is in the beginning so will it always be for the true men of God.

9. What is the strength of the church as at 2013?
By the grace of God the church has grown to over 45 parishes across several states in Nigeria such as Lagos,Oyo,Ondo,Osun,Delta,Ogun,Osun as well as South Africa and Abidjan. We also have people in London and Chicago. We are proposing some parishes in Cotonou, Lome and Accra. The church would have had more parishes but we allow the spirit of God to dictate the tune. In fact in 1992 some Celestial parishes in Niger state wanted to join us but the Lord told us not to allow the merger.

10. What is the major difference between Celica Church of Christ and Celestial Church of Christ?
We all wear white garments but the blue cross on the left hand side of the garments and the chant of hosanna differentiates us.

11.Why is the mode of praise of Celica Church of Christ different from other churches?
Spiritually there are three modes of praising God which are easily identifiable.these are Alleluia,Hosanna and Ebenezer which christians of varying denominations shout to praise God.The three slogans are spiritually meant for different periods in the life of the church.Man was deceived by Satan,he stumbled deeper into the depth of sin and was led astray.Jesus came,conquered the world and the world shouted for joy.Alleluia is a shout of joy for the victory of the Lord on earth over Satan.The victory signifies the beginning of evangelism and also the first era within the christian religion.The second era,according to spiritual revelation,is a period during which all Christians look up in great anticipation for the second coming of Jesus Christ.The expectation is that Jesus Christ is coming back again to establish his own kingdom on earth and he would reign.As shown in Mark 11:9 and Matt 21:9;those that went before him and after him in great expectation of him as king to reign over Isreal cried Hosanna;Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.The shout of Hosanna is to herald the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.The third spiritual slogan is Ebenezer(1st Sam 4:1). This is spiritually earmarked for the success of the chosen ones after they would have reached Jesus Christ in his kingdom.This definitely marks the third era when successful christians would breathe a sigh of relief saying thus has the Lord helped us.Then such chosen people would shout Ebenezer to praise God for his mercies on them throughout the turbulence of the troubled world.Therefore the shout of Hosanna was not a man made idea but a spiritual directive from the Lord.

12.What is the significance of the cross?
As you rightly observed the cross on the Celican garment has a lot of significance
It is the mighty symbol of God’s love to humanity
It is the cornerstone of the Christian faith
It is the spiritual axis upon which the wheels of redemption move.
At the cross, our past is wiped out, our present is extracted and our future brightened, our hearts are regenerated and our nature is renovated, the old man’s sin is cremated and the new man is created.
13. What is the difference in Celican doctrine?
Just like other denominations we propagate Christianity and our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the church, the Bible is our sword and the Holy Spirit is our Guardian Angel. Thus where the spirit of God exists, doctrine is immaterial. It is people that create divisions. The body of Christ is one. It should be united in spirit and love.
14. What is your association with other churches?
Celica Church of Christ is in constant and permanent unity with other churches that have no affiliation with the occult. I, as the medium through which our Lord Jesus Christ founded the church, am a patron of Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), Christian Association
Of Nigeria, Association of Aladura Churches, Bible Society of Nigeria all in Oyo State.
15. You always make reference to three prophets when you pray at important occasions such as the prophet’s week celebrations and harvest ceremonies. What is your relationship with them?
I worshipped in Cherubim and Seraphim church in the 1960s because my elder brother was a member of the church. It was there I had a dream to sew the Sutanna and keep for 7 years. After that period the Lord said I should go into the Celestial Church of Christ. I had my tutelage under Prophet Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa because I had being ordained from age 7 by Jesus Christ. I always refer to them because they were the ones who appeared to me at the inception of the church. They were the anointed prophets of their time and my predecessors. We went round the church auditorium seven times. These three persons were Prophet Moses Orimolade Tunolase, Founder, Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, Founder ,Christ Apostolic Church and Rev. Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa, Founder, Celestial Church of Christ all of blessed memory. After going round the church they told me their assignment on earth was complete and they passed the spiritual baton to me.

2. Let us know about your family background
I was born on Christmas day December 25th, 1951 in the town of Oke-Odan, Ilaro, Ogun State to the family of Late Pa Samuel Adeonigbagbe and Late Madam Alice Adeonigbagbe. I was born into a royal family from Ilesha town, Osun State.I was born into the Anglican communion. Before my birth there had been a prophecy which was given to my mother that her first child would be male and an instrument whom God will use powerfully. She was further warned that no herbs or incisions should be used on him. My mother was obedient to the voice of God. She did not allow any herbs to be used on me and made sure no incisions was cut on any part of my body. My father used to say I would become the Owa (King) he never knew God had something else in stock for me. My father died when I was 4 years old. He pampered me a lot as i was told by the family members maybe I would not have become what I am today if he was still alive. I had to move and live with my maternal grandmother in a village called Ayesan in Odigbo LGA, Ondo State. My granny also kept to the warning strictly. I owe both women who ensured that the plan of God for me was able to manifest. I was happy both of them lived with me and enjoyed the fruits of their labour. They saw my glory manifest in their life time. They were both given a befitting burial when they died.

I attended Anglican Primary School, Ayesan and Muslim College, Ijebu-Ode for my secondary school education. I proceeded to the Apostolic Teacher’s Training College, Ilesha for my grade II certificate where I passed out in 1975. I was posted to St Brendants Primary School, Kumapayi, Ibadan. I was later transferred to Lalupon as a teacher in I.D.C. School and I.D.C Bodunde, Ibadan respectively. I rose to the position of Headmaster before I retired to go fully into the vineyard of God.
4. How were you called into the work of God?
My grandmother became very ill when I was 7 and I was so sad that I would lose her. She was everything to me. She treated me like a king. As I was in a corner weeping I heard a voice asking me if I wanted my granny to be healed and I answer yes. The voice told me he was Jesus Christ the son of God. The voice told me you would promise me something if I do this; you must never bow down for an idol or pollute yourself with darkness. I made a promise and the Lord said I should fetch water and put it in the open till 6pm.At 6pm the Lord told me to take it to my granny to bath with it that she would be healed. That was how the journey with God started for me. The Lord spoke to me often and I started seeing visions most of which were strange to me. I initially worshipped at Erunmu under the Evangelist Oyelese the elder brother of Elder Wole Oyelese.In the Celestial Church of Christ I was always making myself available for spiritual duties. I used to trek sometimes to pray for people and for spiritual consultations, they will drive by without picking me up but I didn’t feel anything because of the Spirit of God in me, I was happy in my prophetic duties.I wrote messages for people and attended night vigils regularly. One day the Lord directed me to go to the church premises, be in spiritual confinement and observe a forty days fasting eating only fruits. I did it faithfully. That is the foundation of the great power God has bestowed on me.So it is not how you start that matters but God building you up gradually. I thank God for his mercies, favour and blessings on me today.
5. What were the initial challenges when the church started in 1992?
I was in the Cherubim and Seraphim church from 1964 till the early 70s. I was anointed as a prophet by Papa Oshoffa in 1979. I started then with the rank of Superior Senior Wol leader. I left the Celestial Church of Christ as a senior Evangelist in 1992. I was an ordained minister in the Celestial church of Christ for 18 years.In every human endearvour there are bound to challenges when a new thing starts. Like you know a lot of people knew my closeness to Papa Oshoffa so when the church was established some people did not know the reason for the coming of Celica Church of Christ. Papa Oshoffa before his demise had known that a new church was coming due to series of vision shown to me and some of which I revealed to him. The Lord has shown him different visions about me too. You know i said i worshipped initially at Celestial Church of Christ, Erunmu under the shepherd Evangelist Oyelese some years later I became the shepherd,Celestial Church of Christ Km 7 Parish, New Ife Road, Ibadan. In one vision Papa Oshoffa appeared to me he showed him 21 louvers of glass of which 18 had been broken. He told me to try and join the louvers together again because I had the patience to do it. There is a mystery behind the 21 louvers but I will not reveal it now. In another vision he led me outside to a path and showed me a river. There were many people inside the river, it was polluted and dirty. Papa Oshoffa said he (Oshoffa) had allowed people into the river exclusively given to him by God and that they had polluted it. He thus led me to another river and said this will be your river now, you can see it is very clean and not polluted; do not let anyone fetch water from it except you. He said these words to me in Yoruba “Odo kan, Orisun kan” which translates as “One River, One Source”. In another vision papa Oshoffa gave me as a gift, a bible, a bell and a purple cloth this items have spiritual meanings. The Lord also told me to seal the altar for 3 months and that everyone must revert back to the ordinary sutanna. He said no one should use ceremonial dresses then. The Lord said in Celestial Church of Christ people have started placing emphasis on titles and positions and that humility was what he wanted. The Lord had been consistently showing me in a vision since 1980, a golden cup which was full of dirt inside and outside. The Lord told me to wash the cup, as i washed the cup, it became dirtier each time I washed it. The Lord told me that if I was not allowed to wash the cup, i should ask for a new golden cup but I continually declined until 1992 when my mouth was opened spiritually to ask for the descent of the new cup. That was when Celica Church of Christ was established. In one of the visions I had, a dove which spiritually signifies love, purity, peace and humility brought two leaves, one dried and one fresh, on the fresh leaf, it was written “Celica Church of Christ. I said to myself then this is a name of a car, the Lord said Celica is a spiritual vehicle of salvation for people. The Lord further gave me the meaning of the name as the Most Glorious Church of Christ from Heaven and that spiritually it was the brightest star in galaxy. The Lord also told me it could also be translated as holiest of the holiest among the celestial bodies. I have always said i am not the founder; our Lord Jesus Christ is the true founder of the church. I am only his representative. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of all churches that truly descended from him.My call is a direct call.That is why I am able to stand on my own because I know the type of call I had from our Lord Jesus Christ.

6.Can you tell us some of your experiences with Papa Oshoffa?
i remember on one incident where i was taken to Papa Oshoffa that i was speaking in tongues.Papa Oshoffa has reasons for not wanting people to speak in tongues.It was because of the happenings in other white garment churches where people were conversing carelessly in tongues even when they were not in spirit.Prophets will start speaking in tongues in public places.Speaking in tongues is spiritual,it comes out as enabled by the spirit of God and for a particular purpose.I told Papa Oshoffa to pray for me so that i won't speak in tongues anymore.As he laid hands on me i started speaking in tongues and the spirit settled on other people around that they started speaking in tongues too.Papa Oshoffa left me alone and knew it was from God.Papa was a prophet he could hear the voice of God,he was gifted with dreams and visions.It was from the Holy Spirit that the Lord gave to him that was distributed to other members of the Celestial Church.
7. Why didn’t Rev Oshoffa chose his successor?
He may have his reasons
Don’t forget he was a prophet so that remains between him and God. I am not privy to that. I will just say what he told me in one of the visions i had, Odo Kan, Orisun Kan which means one river,one source.
8. What is your relationship now with the Celestial Church of Christ?
Cordial, I have no problems with them.Some of them invite me to their programmes I do go if I am opportuned.Celestial Church of Christ,Yemetu came to invite me to celebrate their 50th anniversary with them and also to contribute financially to their anniversary.Twenty-five years ago as a member i also contributed financially to their anniversary alongside Celestial parishes like Mokola and Oke-Ado. If I had no direct call I will still be in the Celestial fold.

And u come from heavenly places, the difference is however that u worship angels (fallen angels- Jerimojamah, Jimota- chief angel from the prophets in the water)that come from the 2ndheavens which is a place full of evil. pauli coco: Look at this crap: Celestial members hold the belief that their church was existing in orun prior to its descent to aye (earth). Thus, deriving its ethereal name directly from heaven, the church claims to be an extension or a branch of the mother church, 'the celestial in heaven above' that was specially sent down through Oschoffa to be established on earth. They believed that God sent down this "heavenly" church to the world thus also making CCC a "heavenly" place on earth. The self-identification of CCC as "the last ship/vessel/boat for salvation"2 best exemplifies the fusion of this-worldly and the other-worldly orientations in their understanding of igbala (salvation). The member's reference to their church as the last ship for salvation is made manifest both in spoken words as well as in their well-established hymn repertoire as examples of their songs have shown.. members are seated in heavenly places even though they still move about physically on earth ... That is why the church is 'Celestial' and not 'terrestial' ".To establish and maintain contact with these 'heavenly' benevolent powers require a congenial ritual atmosphere. CCC gain access to heaven through prayer and rituals within the sanctified space of the church building called Ile Esin (Home of Worship) / Ile Adura (Home of Prayer); Ile Aanu (Mercyland); and the Celestial City, their 'New Jerusalem'.

CCC members believe that the malevolent forces could 'contaminate' the sacred space if it is not spiritually fortified and protected. In a sense, CCC could be seen as a church engaged in perpetual 'spiritual war' against satan, witches, wizards and sorcerers.The forces of the 'Holy Spirit' are believed to come from the angels who are infinitely numerous. Four among them have the title of archangels and manifest through their disposition in the four cardinal directions, the situation of the world at the meeting point of the spiritual forces. Prayers were often done facing the four corners of the earth. Halleluyah is repeatedly shouted in unison seven times on each direction7. Michael is the 'chief archangel' under "the power of Jesus" who wields the ida (spiritual sword) that demolishes ajogun, aje, oso, the malevolent supramundane forces which populate the world. He is the angel of victory and the protector of the church. Due to his status and role among the hierarchy of angels, he is mostly invoked at the beginning of all prayers. Most prayers are started with the invocation Jehovah, Jesu Kristi, Michael Mimo, Oga Ogun (Jehovah, Jesus Christ, Holy Michael our captain). He occupies the east axis of the church. Gabriel is the angel of protection and benediction. He is also the angel of healing and of humility. He is believed to cure barreness. His jurisdiction is the west. Raphael is the angel of force that resides on the side of the ocean in the south. He prevents all sort of ailments and health hazards. Uriel is the least invoked of the four archangels. He represents the angel of gift, and dwells in the north axis. He is called upon to activate and render potent private devotional prayers.
These four maleka (archangels) are seen as the four angels who have considerable power over the 'world' (Cf. Y.H.N. 4; 259 / E.V. 96; 356; 477; 610; 617 etc.). Among the myriad of other angels which populate the "heavenly" space on earth, only two are named. Jimota, the angel of the water and of all within the waters, and Jerimo Yamah, who contemplates the light and the brightness of God. On the whole, Michael is believed to be charged with distributing works for the other angels "under the power of Jesus". It is for that reason that he is invoked at the beginning of each prayer. CCC Order of Service contains certain "holy" names which usually precede the readings from the Book of Psalms. The Yoruba meaning of some of these names are given as: Eh-Yibah (Oluwa Alanu); Eli-Yah (Oluwa Olorun); Eli-Bamah-Yabah (Oluwa-Omo Emi-Michael); Agashadual (Oba Olusegun); Jehovah Jecho-Hirami (Oba Olubukun) (see CCC Constitution, p. 31). These 'holy' names are invoked in order to invite the benevolent spiritual agents to partake in their ritual services.

I am sorry if u have had bad experiences in the Celestial parishes you attended.I want you to know for a fact that the foundation of white garment churches(Cherubim,and Seraphim,Celestial Church of Christ ,Celica Church of Christ) that you are portraying in bad light is pure and it descended via the injunction of our Lord Jesus Christ.It is some elements within the white garment fold who have imbibed negative values,wrong attitudes and bad cultures not in tandem with what God laid down and it also like that across Christendom.That is the case with people generally in the society too.You will always have people who are deviants to the natural order and values of the society.The Lord has given humans free mind to choose whichever side you wish to follow either the good or bad path.Like i said earlier there still remain a good proportion of people in the Celestial church who still follow the good path.Celica Church of Christ is a white garment fold with a difference even when we were in Celestial our parish was distinct.It was known as Cele,Km 7,Ibadan then.Celestials and non Celestial who have passed through the parish attest to this.Let me also correct this impression,if a female is asked to go for a spiritual bath,it is a female prophetess that will accompany her that is the trend in Celica Church of Christ and across several white garment churches.The vices been noticed is not as result of false doctrines but the nature of those involved.On the issue of going to the beach for prayers let me quote Acts 16 vs 13"on the sabbath we went outside the city gate to the RIVER,where we expected to find a PLACE OF PRAYER.we sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there". Acts 21 vs 5"But when our time was up,we left and continued on our way.All the disciples and their wives and children accompanied us out of the city, and there on the BEACH WE KNELT DOWN TO PRAY".Matt 3 vs 6"confessing their sins they were baptized by him in the Jordan RIVER".Luke 5 vs 1-5"one day as Jesus was standing by the LAKE OF GENNESARET with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God.He saw at the water’s edge two boat left there by fishermen,who were washing their nets.He got into one of the the boats,the one belonging to Simon and asked him to put it out a little from shore.There he sat and taught people from the boat.The beach side is a place of solitude where you can concentrate for prayers.A prophet goes anywhere as directed by God.The Ori-okes(mountain-tops) may necessarily not mean an elevated land,it is just any place santified by God for prayers.Nothing is crapish about the origin of white garment churches.I still stand by what i said that across Christendom the Lord will reveal his true servants.Our Lord Jesus Christ is the doctrine.As long as we accept him as our Lord and saviour and follow his directives we don’t need to justify our actions to anyone.Worship our Lord Jesus Christ where you are at ease and stop insulting the origin of the white garment churches.Hosanna
