It's no longer news that the Academic Staff Union of Universities aka ASUU have embarked on a one-month warning strike

In fact, today is the 4th day of the strike. So here's the thing...

What do you hope to do in this period?

Do you intend to just use this one month to catch cruise and vibe all day?

If that's what you intend to use this period for, I'd advise you give it a re-think because this is actually a period for you to start learning about things that can change your life in the long run

I mean, let's face it...

What's the probability that when you eventually graduate, you're going to immediately get a job with that your certificate?

Unlikely right?

So what that tells you is that you need to start getting intentional about the kind of decisions you make and start taking responsibility for life

You can't be spending all your spare time doing trivial things my friend. Don't think you are young so you still have time

That's a very wrong mentality to live with

Don't wait until you graduate before you start doing something worthwhile for your life

Some robbers who were escaping with a stolen car were arrested after being involved in a road crash at Ode Remo in Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The suspects, who allegedly snatched a Toyota Camry at gunpoint in Ondo State, were heading to Lagos when they were involved in an accident.

Operatives of Ode Remo police divisional headquarters had initially rescued the three occupants of the car who sustained injuries in the accident.

According to Abimbola Oyeyemi, Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun, the suspects were receiving treatment when the DPO of Ode Remo division, Fasogbon Olayemi, received an information that the vehicle involved in the accident was snatched at gunpoint.

He said the DPO quickly ordered that they should be placed under arrest right in the hospital.

“The owner of the vehicle who came all the way from Ondo state explained that he was accosted on the road by a gang of five men dressed like policemen, and that he was dragged out of the car at gunpoint and the vehicle was taken away,” he said.

Oyeyemi explained that one of the suspects, identified as Emeka John later died in the hospital.

The Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, immediately ordered that the two other suspects, Sunday Emmanuel and Idris Ibrahim, should be transferred to state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for prosecution.

Jada Pollock has called out one of WizKid’s friend, Dr. Tufab, for revealing the singer’s Grammy plaque without his permission.

Recall that the award-winning artiste received his Grammy Awards plaque few days after his colleague, Burna Boy collected his own.

WizKid’s friend, Dr. Fab took to his Instagram page to reveal the Grammy plaque which many fans have been expecting for so long.

Initially, WizKid’s plan was to reveal his plaque at a video shoot of Burna Boy’s upcoming song titled ‘Ballon D’or’ but the whole thing didn’t go as planned.

Nina Ivy was the brand ambassador for a body enhancement brand which is a herbal tea company. Nina was dropped as the ambassador after photos and videos of her in her surgical outfit with her surgeon ready for the butt enhancement surfaced on social media.


In a now-deleted post, the herbal body enlargement brand known as Mav Herbals disclosed on their page that the company has terminated the contract of Nina. According to the company, Nina Ivy did not do the job as she was paid to do, adding that she instead used money paid to do her surgery which is an insult to their brand.

The Herbal body enhancement brand took to their page and announced the cancellation of all contracts with the reality star. They also stated that they will mount pressure on Nina until she makes a refund of the already paid money.
