When I was younger there was a thought that used to come to my mind,but then could not really see whether it was sensible or not and that is- there are always two truths- the real one and the one you want to believe .Now I understand better now.

I am not Igbo (I am Yoruba )but I have come to appreciate the cultural implication of this act.When the house of someone who has done an abominable thing is demolished like this,it is symbolic of communal rejection with deeper implication not only for him ,but his generation.

What is morally acceptable in one society may not be in another.

If wearing a leg chain is done with modest intent, many would argue it’s morally neutral.

However, if it’s worn with the intent to provoke or send sexual signals (as believed in some cultures), some may question its moral implications.
