We were in the full swing of my mother's funeral and rounding off as she had been buried earlier that day in the morning .We had all gathered in the balcony waiting for when her Will will be read.What she lacked in cars and landed property she had in cloths and gold trinkets.Fortunately and unfortunately,she had just 6 of us who are boys,but because we are all married,we expected our wives to be able to pick some of my mum's personal belongings as inheritance.However,I was on the balcony when one of my aunties,my mum's junior sister(step sister )joined me and without prompting her began what I would call a confession of sort,'Hmmm,the world is truly wicked,as I believe my sister's death is not without the hands of 'household wickedness,I mean witches and wizards.(Mind you my mum died at 78 years old!)She continued, 'When we were younger our father could not afford to send all of us to school because of limited funds,but somehow decided he could only afford to sponsor just one person who happened to be my mum with the expectation that when she becomes someone great,she would be able to able to help her other siblings.Truly ,my mum curiously was the only one sent to school in her family of 3 girls and 1 boy.With the bed already ladden with all my mum's earthly treasures of cloths and trinkets,I quickly intimated by elder brother with all I had heard.Immediately ,there was a change in plan.Instead of allowing our wives to be the first to pick from our mum's things,we called in my mum's half sisters to pick as many things as they want.Our wives looked on in shock and anger,but that was no time to explain anything to anybody.If you see the look of excitement on my aunties'faces!
