Politics / Why Are All Presidential Aspirants Seeking Western Endorsement ? by KwaraRat: 6:29pm On Dec 05, 2022 |
Its the most belittling misadventure Are we not an independent nation? Why are all major candidates other than Kwankwaso running to the west to seek endorsement from their politicians, media and policy groups? You don't see any western or foreign candidate coming to Nigeria to seek support from us. What's even the point in taking ones campaign train to Nigerians in the diaspora? Those ones are not allowed to vote and 99.9% of them won't buy a ticket to come down and vote. Are these for just optics or full on ret@rdation ? Why give an address to foreign policy group or centers ? Why even take out Ads in the UK to campaign that you are running to be president ? Is this not waste ? So far Atiku, Tinubu and Obi have been guilty of this. And should be seen as a wasted effort that should be a harbinger to their future wasteful administration and cuck sucking to western elite. 1 Like |

Lap dog for globo homo in the making. Reuters that nearly got a nuclear war going by claiming falsely that Russia fired missiles into Poland despite it being a Ukrainian missile to trigger Article 5. Reuters is owned by Rothschild by the way and they are a propagandist outfit masquerading as a reputable journalism outfit. |

Politics / Re: ASP Abion Hezikel Stabbed To Death As Naval, Police Officers Clash In Lagos by KwaraRat: 3:17pm On Dec 05, 2022 |
Knowing Naval command, these naval ratings will be swiftly rounded up and handed to the Police for prosecution. Naval chain of command do not joke with indiscipline or any of their men and officers running foul with the law. The ratings involved should just go on AWOL because their officers do not tolerate indiscipline and law breakers. 1 Like |

Agbegbaorogboye: IOCs are having serious issues funding exploration from capital markets. The ones still operating in Nigeria have divested from onshore to offshore . Who in their right mind will fund exploration deep in the Boko North ? Think 4 Likes

Politics / Northern Oil Is A Facade by KwaraRat: 9:29am On Dec 05, 2022 |
The US is bent on weaning the EU from Russian oil and gas. The proposed Gulf pipeline to supply gas from the Persian gulf via Syria onward to Europe met a brick wall with Syria's Assad refusal to allow the pipeline to be laid through his country. For this, regime change using ISIS was initiated. Russia had no choice but to come to Assad's aid. As events where unfolding , the US and NATO began exploring another route via Libya. Knowing Qaddafi will not agree to such , regime change was initiated. The proposed Libyan pipeline to EU will carry Oil from deep in the Niger Delta . But this is problematic owing to sabotage that will plague such a project. It is for this reason the north must be brought in as a stakeholder. The gas and oil that will be pumped via this trans Saharan pipeline is coming from the Niger Delta.

Politics / Re: More Explanations On What “Consumptive Economy” Truly Means.. by KwaraRat: 9:14am On Dec 05, 2022 |
BluntCrazeMan: The Nigerian civil service is a glorified welfare scheme . How many of those in the civil service can truly justify their employment ? A scenario where you have in a typical MDA more support staff than core professionals can not be seen as a professional outfit. A civil service that every minister will dump his fellow village people and put his concubines on govt dole . Its even far worse when you go to state and local govt level. I remember my then northern girlfriend who was collecting salaries from 3 LGA and from the state govt as a full staff and the only time she ever went to the office was for physical versification. This my ex gf I van bet is still collecting salaries even now that she is in federal employment. |
Politics / Re: More Explanations On What “Consumptive Economy” Truly Means.. by KwaraRat: 9:06am On Dec 05, 2022 |
BluntCrazeMan: Its not how money is added into the economy that is the issue. Nigeria's economy is driving by and large by govt spending. The problem has always been how the govt spending only encourages imports. Take a typical govt office that will budget huge sums for imported stationary , office equipment, generators and A/Cs none of which is produced locally. If the govt is sincere and insists on purchasing inventory from local manufactures , do you know how much it can conserve from wasteful imports that benefit foreign economies ? Then we have looted funds that end up in offshore accounts like that of Anambra under Peter Obi . There is a net drain of resources out of Nigeria and the only way to revert this is to cut wasteful imports . |
Politics / Re: More Explanations On What “Consumptive Economy” Truly Means.. by KwaraRat: 8:58am On Dec 05, 2022 |
BluntCrazeMan: Not making any sense . Even your assertion of true productive employment proves that little is produced to add value to the economy through labour . You just contradicted yourself by stating that the work force is not productively employed and that most people earn a living either through rent seeking or in jobs that are totally not useful e.g. Civil service that is more of a welfare scheme . |
Politics / Re: More Explanations On What “Consumptive Economy” Truly Means.. by KwaraRat: 8:51am On Dec 05, 2022 |
We will be going round circles with these DisObidient louts who want to turn convention upon its head in lame defense of the gaffes by their messiah. An import based economy is a shelf stacking one where goods consumed are produced outside of its economy. You import because you do not have the means and capacity to produce goods that will be priced competitively. There is no going around this. You can only export when you have the means to produce goods that can be competitive in pricing. |

BluntCrazeMan: So what kind of economy is an import based one ? |
Politics / Re: More Explanations On What “Consumptive Economy” Truly Means.. by KwaraRat: 8:38am On Dec 05, 2022 |
Bluntsisi: Import based economy is primarily a consumer economy since you don't produce any goods . A net importing economy is one where capital flows out from leading to a deficit economy. |
Politics / Re: The Origin Of The Word *nyamiri* by KwaraRat: 7:34am On Dec 05, 2022 |
Arda1000:Wrong. It predates Nigeria . The word was coined by Arab slavers who did not fancy Igbo slaves because they never survived the long trek through the desert The Igbo slave kept pestering his Arab slave master for water and that's how the word came about. |
