ganisucks:What's wrong with the pics ? |
Moh247:As drilling goes on, such marginal fields become more expensive to drill. 100k barrel refinery will add about a million litres of PMS . Not going to replace imports or that from Damgote's mega refinery. |
Moh247:I bn barrels is not that much . A refinery that refines 100k barrels per day will operate for 25ys before tapping out .

Agbegbaorogboye:IOCs are having serious issues funding exploration from capital markets. The ones still operating in Nigeria have divested from onshore to offshore . Who in their right mind will fund exploration deep in the Boko North ? Think

The US is bent on weaning the EU from Russian oil and gas. The proposed Gulf pipeline to supply gas from the Persian gulf via Syria onward to Europe met a brick wall with Syria's Assad refusal to allow the pipeline to be laid through his country. For this, regime change using ISIS was initiated. Russia had no choice but to come to Assad's aid. As events where unfolding , the US and NATO began exploring another route via Libya. Knowing Qaddafi will not agree to such , regime change was initiated. The proposed Libyan pipeline to EU will carry Oil from deep in the Niger Delta . But this is problematic owing to sabotage that will plague such a project. It is for this reason the north must be brought in as a stakeholder. The gas and oil that will be pumped via this trans Saharan pipeline is coming from the Niger Delta.

BluntCrazeMan:The Nigerian civil service is a glorified welfare scheme . How many of those in the civil service can truly justify their employment ? A scenario where you have in a typical MDA more support staff than core professionals can not be seen as a professional outfit. A civil service that every minister will dump his fellow village people and put his concubines on govt dole . Its even far worse when you go to state and local govt level. I remember my then northern girlfriend who was collecting salaries from 3 LGA and from the state govt as a full staff and the only time she ever went to the office was for physical versification. This my ex gf I van bet is still collecting salaries even now that she is in federal employment. |
BluntCrazeMan:Its not how money is added into the economy that is the issue. Nigeria's economy is driving by and large by govt spending. The problem has always been how the govt spending only encourages imports. Take a typical govt office that will budget huge sums for imported stationary , office equipment, generators and A/Cs none of which is produced locally. If the govt is sincere and insists on purchasing inventory from local manufactures , do you know how much it can conserve from wasteful imports that benefit foreign economies ? Then we have looted funds that end up in offshore accounts like that of Anambra under Peter Obi . There is a net drain of resources out of Nigeria and the only way to revert this is to cut wasteful imports . |
BluntCrazeMan:Not making any sense . Even your assertion of true productive employment proves that little is produced to add value to the economy through labour . You just contradicted yourself by stating that the work force is not productively employed and that most people earn a living either through rent seeking or in jobs that are totally not useful e.g. Civil service that is more of a welfare scheme . |
We will be going round circles with these DisObidient louts who want to turn convention upon its head in lame defense of the gaffes by their messiah. An import based economy is a shelf stacking one where goods consumed are produced outside of its economy. You import because you do not have the means and capacity to produce goods that will be priced competitively. There is no going around this. You can only export when you have the means to produce goods that can be competitive in pricing. |
BluntCrazeMan:So what kind of economy is an import based one ? |
Bluntsisi:Import based economy is primarily a consumer economy since you don't produce any goods . A net importing economy is one where capital flows out from leading to a deficit economy. |
Arda1000:Wrong. It predates Nigeria . The word was coined by Arab slavers who did not fancy Igbo slaves because they never survived the long trek through the desert The Igbo slave kept pestering his Arab slave master for water and that's how the word came about. |
fx45:Big dik energy . I am coming and I will pacify and civilize you heathen savages. |
fx45:OSU, you forget rabbi Kanustein with his syphilitic induced hate speech come dey attack me. Look, I will murder you without conscience since it is self evident that you land grabbing bastards want to do eliminate me and my people . |
mrvitalis:I hope this Biafra does not include any inch of my future Christian Republic of Niger Delta ? You know me as anti one nijeriya , a full blooded nationalist bordering on fascism who is totally committed to the real balkanization of the Jewish plantation. You should. Because this is MagicBishop . I was promoting your Biafra here until I noticed the Zionist bent on it and the Igbo expansionist agenda to steal my lands . I also noticed your nationalism is as fake as an Azov Globo Homo Kosher Nazi. And for this I came to the conclusion that you are not an ally but a mole and a hypocrite with your Biafra nonsense that has now been replaced with an Obi Ibo presidency |
mrvitalis:Lolz The pogroms were all staged outside Alaigbo Just say you need Nigeria to survive . |
OfoIgbo:You can only deceive your fellow cannibals |
blueAgent:The world is waking up to Jewish meddling and there are growing anti Jewish sentiments across the world owing to Jewish role in covid, supply chain crisis , Palestine and the war in Ukraine. Kanye just denied the Hollowcaust yesterday and declared his liking to Hitler and NAZIs . The World cup in Qatar has seen many spectators avoiding Israeli TV stations in support of Palestine and in protest to the ongoing Jew ochrstrared madness in Ukraine. You my friend , as a Jew worshiping OSU, remain the only fools standing with Judas. |
The LP was a containment zone for radical far left Marxists that was formed by Trade unionists . It is composed of the worst of the worst who appear anti establishment and pro masses on one hand and full fledged big govt control on the other. To even have Obi, a capitalist import based trader as their candidate explains the hubris surrounding the LP and their illusions to improve the working man in Nigeria. As I have always maintained, Communism is extreme capitalism. As communism is the ideal slave labour conditions capitalists have been striving to attain as can be seen in how western capitalists funded and founded the communist revolt in Tsarist Russia and enabled the Soviet Union in its slave enterprise . Even the CCP and Mao are products of international capitalism and we know how the WEF - a supposed liberal democratic advocacy and capitalist organization has since declared China as the future role model for all nation's to emulate , a sentiment shared by the dense parroting Peter Obi who can't seem to shut up about China's great industrial leap forward but who conveniently omits how the bedrock to such success was only possible and sustainable through prison slave labour and concentration camps. It is for these reasons, the LP and its adopted candidate should be roundly rejected for being the ever flaming useful idiot Marxists that they are. I have said my piece. |
IGBOSON1:Maps don't lie. Do you now want to deny the widespread cannibalism you Igbos were known for ? Do you want to deny the industrial scale ritual murders your Arochukwu long juju cult was known for ? Do you want to deny that Igbo land suffered the most from the Jewish Atlantic slave trade as you sold your own without recourse to status to Jewish slavers ? Even a state in your cursed region bears testimony of this Jewish slave trade as Ebonyi was named after the river Ebonyi that was named by Jewish slavers using sleuths and canoes to access the hinterland to bypass the middlemen in the lower Niger . The word Ebonyi is old Latin for Blackwood . Blackwood being in reference of the Jewish cargo of Igbo slaves stacked like log of wood in the hauls of their slave ships. See this map below and tell me if the same European you claim that spoke glowingly of your cursed lands still went and drew this anthropological map warning of Igbo cannibalism.

People are building and expanding cities and here they are boasting of erecting one mansion that lizards and reptiles will occupy for most part of the year. As much as I am anti big cities in place for small rural and town developments owing that cities are an aberration to humanity as they create a false and fake form of sustainable living by offering artificial jobs that won't exist without a city in the first place and that cities are also a behavioural sink that turns most of its inhabitants to leftist drones dependent on central planners, the OSU who is boasting of erecting a mansion in his cursed village will only return to it in a coffin to be buried on it's ground. That cursed village only provided the motivation to flee to greener pastures as it is only in Igbo villages that food is still imported other than ugwu and akpu. The village is akin to a jungle slum dwelling with nothing to sustain its inhabitants for the land , being cursed, can not even sustain their rat breeding population. Take Ebonyi as an example: densely populated in terms of competition for land compared to the farming population, that most of the peasants there are forced to big cities to constitute nuisance. The OSU should not think that their primordial competition in erecting mansions as show off to their fellow osus after returning from economic migration can be use to rub on others not from his cursed region. |
Whois:Very true. Across heebo land only state capitals will you find banks . Maybe only Nnewi , Onitsha and Nnsuka that are not capitals can boast of common bank branch. You know the reason why this is the case and so I won't elaborate . |
. Communities lacking water supply, motor able roads, lack of electricity, in some case no bank branch in a whole local government is what op is referring to as best villages in Nigeria
I understand sha
