Breakdancing was divided into two back in early 1980s Nigeria - poppin and breakin. I knew people who specialised in one or the other. Breakin was more energetic and included headspins and other fast and energetic moves. Poppin was about sending waves through your body.

I've been searching for a better way to explain poppin to younger people and this is it.
