My sister also had kidney failure and had never tasted alcohol before rather hers came about through the same self medication on antibiotics. Thank she finally got kidney transplant from donors after 10 years.

Fact and young people of nowadays needs to think about it. Most people who suffers kidney disease are not even drunker and I have seen lots of people who have never tasted alcohol in their entire life and still die of kidney disease. It can be hereditary, it can be as a result of kidney stones, hypertension or high blood pressure, Diabetes, Anaemia, malnutrition, drug abuse, untreated infection etc infact many patients who dies of kidney disease are mostly patient with high blood pressure, diabetes and anaemia.
