This thread is meant to educate the ignorant ones that claim southwest is full of brown roofs while the southeast is Eldorado when the totality of those developed areas in the whole of southeast fused into one state would be the size of Osun State.

We need to tell our history for posterity sake so our children won't be fed with lies and propaganda. Remove all our brown roofs buildings, pun intended, the developed areas in the southwest minus Lagos is far bigger than the whole of southeast in folds.

Oyo State alone is 28,454 in size while the whole of southeast states fused together is mere 29,525. A bad math student would know the difference is just paltry '1,071' leaving Osun, ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos. Take the differential figure from Lagos and it won't be noticed. So the question is, who is fooling who?

Our brown roofs doesn't mean we aren't developed, it's just that we are too big to be noticed. If you remove brown roofs from southeast, the developed areas can't be noticed compare to southwest.

They claim that nowhere is developed in southwest except Lagos but this is an eye-opener for those gullible ones swallowing lies upon lies of southeast folks. Showing us our brown roofs doesnt mean we are mate in terms of infrastructural developments.

Truth is Buhari has so many surprises in his sleeve. Wouldn't have ever thought someone from Kwara will be his chief of staff. That office is like the soul of the president. I am now believing the news I read few days back that a new cabal is cropping up.

Following the controversies surrounding the death of the acclaimed Biafra leader, Nnamdi Kanu, he has failed to prove that he is alive, after a live Facebook broadcast yesterday, experts claims.


According to a Russian based new media expert, Emeka Chibuike, the technical teams managing the broad of a supposed Nnamdi Kanu didn't just doctor the broadcast but they equally deleted all posts requesting for the validity of the broadcast in line with Italian newspaper report, il-Giornale.


Il-Giornale front page had a standing picture of the “late” IPOB leader under a headline, “Leader Di IPOB Nnamdi Kanu Morto Di Coronavirus”, meaning “Leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu died of Corona Virus”.

According to Chibuike, "Nnamdi Kanu's double did a Facebook live yesterday, and to worsen the situation, all comments and request to confirm it was Kanu was deleted and the facebook users blocked".

Also, the Peace Accord Forum (PAF) – a coalition group in a statement published by The Nation had declared that the IPOB leader was dead and buried.

The statement reads: “The delusional mind of Nnamdi Kanu’s impostor or whoever uses his social media accounts in recent days seems to be on overdrive gear.

We appeal to gullible minds to seek light or remain in IPOB darkness and captivity forever.

PAF insisted IPOB’s many attempts “to prove to the world that their so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is not dead have been futile, hence, the verbal attacks on anyone and everyone”.


Aside the struggle to sustain the image of Kanu, the IPOB have also resorted to attacks on Nigerian top functionaries including the Vice - President, Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, who have been holding video-conferencing in place of physical meeting to beat the Corona Virus Pandemic.

The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday celebrated the release of the Chief Whip, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu after he recorded victory at the apex Court.

Igbere TV had reported that the Supreme Court sitting in Abuja on Friday unanimously overturned the conviction of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in the “N7. 65 billion” fraud.

Speaking over the victory, Kanu said "there are other victims of this lopsided prosecution, they are incarcerated and MUST be released until all stolen money by this cabal is accounted for, starting from the nearly 14Billion Aso Rock Clinic they looted from 2015 to date."

He noted that all reasonable Igbo people are happy over the release of Orji Kalu.

He also issued ultimatum to the Federal government and called for the immediate release of the following people:

Joshua Dariye
Jolly Nyame
James Bala Ngilari"

The statement reads in full,

"God Almighty Chukwu Okike Abiama takes all the glory but I must also say that the moderately reasonable Alimajiri judge that quashed the original conviction should be commended for saving Abba Kyari & the rest of the core north from damaging scrutiny and global shame by #IPOB. Those that ignore our warnings do so at their peril. "

"We have set Orji Uzor Kalu free today and while all reasonable Igbo people are happy, I am also looking forward to hearing the same about Olisah Metuh soon."

He thanked Nigerians and the judiciary and revealed that the judgement reaffirmed his belief in the judicial system

The report says 5 states account for 87% VAT in Nigeria. The states are Lagos (55%), Rivers and Kano 6% and 5% respectively. FCT came a distant 2^nd with 20% while Kaduna was a much more distant 3^rd with just 1%.

Having said that, even a blind, deaf and dumb man knows Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Benue, Niger, Kwara, Cross Rivers and Edo states account for about 10 out of the 13% balance.

Now, let's assume the remaining 23 states contribute equally to the 3% balance, even though we all know Borno is slightly higher than Ebonyi while Osun beats Anambra and imo states combined. But to avoid argument, let's just assume all contribute equally.

Dividing the 3 into 26 places gives 0.12% per state. Multiplying this by 5 equals 0.57%.

So some 5 worthless undeveloped villages contribute just 0.57% VAT to the national purse (far less than what only Kaduna with the least contributes). Ironically, they claim to be the richest in Nigeria. Smh.

No wonder Lagos na obodo oyibo to some people.
