There is this guy that has a cafe in the faculty of education. He was the one who registered me for both post utme and foundation.He has also been the one giving me info about the latest developments.

Last two weeks, this guy called me telling me that he knows someone who knows the VC and that if I can pay #30,000, he would work the admission out for me.

I ignored him,knowing it was a scam. Earlier this week, he called again telling me that he did it for people and they've been admitted. This time,I told him my dad would not support it just to Ward him off.

Yesterday, my Caps changed to admission in progress and I told him. He replied telling me that he submitted my bio to the person he told me about(He only has my Caps login details and I never told him to go ahead).I told him that I don't believe him and I know people who got admitted the same way ( automatic change of course) without connection of any sort.

I feel this guy just wants to scam me.He wants me to pay him and take credit for my admission. Another mistake I made was not telling my dad from the onset but I had to tell him yesterday.

What should I do?

Keep ignoring him
Anything admission assistance in unilag is not "30k"

Let him keep calling and keep posting him.

The change of course doesn't have any effect until you've seen admitted for a course that's not the initial course you applied for.

Good morning guys. I have a slight issue... I did my waec again this year in another school and that's the result I used for registrations this year . I already have testimonial from the school I originally attended and part of the requirements for registration is testimonial and statement of result(cos the waec certificate won't be ready yet). My question is since I'm going to get the statement of result from the school which I wrote my waec this year....should I also collect a testimonial from them too?? So that both will rhyme. Thanks in advance as I await your replies.

You can use the other school's testimonial cos they know not everyone made their waec in the attended secondary school but if the other school u did the waec is willing to give u there testimonial,u can collect it but not getting from them is not an issue.

You can get from a pastor,imam,senior civil servant or a lawyer.
And it must be letter head paper.

Hope this won't affect, my waec result,the date of birth is different from the one on my birth certificate

It will affect it especially if you're using waec certificate, DOB is written in waec cert.
So go to court n get affidavit of the age u wanna claim as early as possible cos they hardly accept recent affidavits.

U should visit any accredited center for the change of course and ask how soon you can print the admission letter

At last,My admission status has changed to admission in progress.But the annoying thing is that my Course was changed to biology education.Please is there a possibility that it can still be changed to a better course?

And
I have some friends who have not been given admission but their connect ( professors/lecturers) in unilag said they have processed their admissions
So my question is...
Is there another list for people with connection or are they meant to be with this supplementary?

They r strict to the cut off but he should keep checking the caps

You will go to studentportal.unilag.edu.ng
Matric number is ur jamb or DE reg number
Then password is ur surname in lowercase
