I was shocked and scared but I managed to park the car. After parking, I asked the men who they were and where they were from. They didn’t answer my questions. They simply cocked their guns and threatened to shoot me for reasons I couldn’t understand. I saw the Blue @PoliceNG van

If they had an official police uniform on, I wouldn’t have asked most of these questions. However they only had black shirts marked “anti-kidnapping squad” on. After a lot of threats, they forcefully entered my vehicle and searched it for reasons I still don’t understand.

They asked me to identify myself and I told them I own a company named DAMI ADENUGA WORLD that handles marketing, event planning, promotion and other services. In addition, I own a delivery company @CapazDios that offers courier services.



They also demanded to search through my mobile phones. On my official office line & personal phone, they found some listed addresses and pick up requests from clients.

Despite initially explaining that I own a delivery company, one of them immediately said I was responsible for picking up human heads for people. I was subjected to serious ridicule and public disgrace in the course of this armed robbery.

I was with the logistics manager of my courier firm. (who was called upon urgent for his parent’s illness, so I gave him a lift). They said a lot to his face.

I was short of words at this point as I didn’t know what I did to deserve this treatment. Maybe leaving my house for an event can be considered a crime.

Before i start with my own personal opinion on this rising matter i want you all reading this to know an not a politician and neither do i belong to any party so if you want to criticize me do so at your own peril.

Now i want us to personally go through both contestants profile when i say both contestants i know most of you will say what about the rest that contested the elections any way those other parties to me are inconsequential and not relevant either we like it or not.

After accessing both candidates well i come to realize that the incumbent party or representative so to speak President Mohamadu Buhari is a very slow starter in the race to move the country forward my reasons



1, It took him six months to assemble a vital cabinet that has a major impact on the country’s economy

2, He closed the boarders banding importation of rice and other essential commodities mostly used and consumed by the poor masses without proper consultations or plan for the future which later boomeranged with serious economic hardship on the common man.

How do I start? I can’t believe am asking myself this question anyway my name is Charles Iyang  and your advice is needed urgently because i think i have issues loosing people dear to me for no reason.

Please easy on the backlash because am not a writer neither am I a journalist just worked in a media outfit in Nigeria for 10 years ,  so don’t mind me if my words are not being placed or arranged properly like a professional writer or journalist would.

I can describe myself as an reclusive/introvert and I have a reason for that, 20 years ago to be precise I had a very closed friend we were so perfect together, due to the fact that I was having family issues because I was born into a very toxic polygamous family which I can’t even explain right now, Olajuwon my friend became my brother I told him everything about me and he did the same.

We were so close that if I was in a place alone people ask me where is your friend some even call him my brother, they ask him the same question too, some 2 or 3 years into our blissful relationship I discovered his father and my father were also friends when they were young I got to discover this the day I actually meet his dad who asked me the normal Yoruba questions  ‘’omo ta nie’’ ‘’kiloruko baba e kini ishe ti baba e nse ‘’ & ‘’omo ilu wo nie? Meaning who is your father what is your father’s profession and where do you come from?.

After giving him the full name of my dad and where he came from he shouted ‘’ MILIKI’’ my dearest friend and he went on to tell us stories about  their adventures ,business encounters and so on.

He later advised us to be good friends and always be true to each other, that in fact even got us more closer than we were before the glorious meeting with his dad, any way years went by and i got a job  and things changed I still don’t know what went wrong , till now I still ask myself where did I go wrong?.

My friend started giving me attitudes and always finding fault in me until we ended up in a heated argument that he said so many bad things about me things I confided in him. I went home that night and said to myself why did you take this job?

Because I loved him so much he was the brother I never had after some days I decided to move on with my life and I moved out of the area because I could no longer live with myself knowing people will always ask me about him.

I later settled with him after so many years we talk at times on phone and most times he calls but the closeness in no more and that was how our friendship died.

Today am passing through the same thing again I meet a younger friend Taofeek in my new domain and quickly got along well, he introduced me to some friends kachi n Gabriel  who I find interesting , smart, ambitious and the zeal to grow financially.

Kachi was not new to me because  we lived in my former area together only that we were not closed just distance acquaintance. And it was a pleasure to meet him again here.

As time goes on we developed a bond between us and we all had a dream to be responsible though we hang out every night have a bottle or two discuss politics and have meaningful arguments and a collective agreement and conclusions.

Oh I omitted the part when the media house I worked with had issues and could not pay salaries for six months and I had issues paying my rent , my landlord became so aggressive I pleaded with him but he insisted I move out of his house. I consulted my friends and I told them I had no choice than to sell my car in other to raise money for a new apartment.

My friends were devastated because I know if they could raise the money then they would have bailed me out ,but we had no choice or rather I had no choice than to sell the car, luckily for me there was a vacant apartment in Taofeek’s house so we talked to the land lord who was also a gentle man and a rare landlord who is not as aggressive as my former landlord .

To cut the long story short I moved in and that even tightened our bond and friendship, we lived together in the house like brothers not until 4/11/2018 when he claimed he visited me in my apartment and my son told him I was sleeping , he got angry and left he did not tell me he was aggrieved with me until the next day when we meet at our usual spot and he mentioned it.

The first thing he said was bros I did not expect you could treat me this way after how I cherished you like a brother you told your children to kick me out of your apartment why? Although I told Kachi and he advised me not to be angry.

I was furiously angry and shocked at the same time, I said when did this happen because I have no knowledge of what you are talking about, he kept on going like he had something else he has been nursing in his mind about me.

I was able to control my anger and emotions because that has always been the weakest part of me I was angry because he did not confront me first instead he went straight to Kachi.

That night Kachi tried to talk some sense into him but he was adamant and sure whatever happened that faithful day  was intentional .

Now he is avoiding me , I hear his voice coming down the stairs and he just ignores me as if I don’t live in the house , My problem now is i don’t want our neighbors to start asking questions because they know how close we are.

Questions and questions keep going through my mind I don’t even know what to do because I hate it when friends suddenly starts acting strange it gives me this strange feelings that I have a problem of loosing people I love dearly over  unnecessary issues.

I want to discuss about the drama rocking the Kano state governor and the Kano state House of Assembly, few weeks ago a video of about 5mins was released showing Governor Abdullahi Ganduje receiving a bribe from a contractor went viral and thanks to social media we all saw it and confirmed it was not ''doctored'' like our politicians used to say when caught in the act.

After the video went viral and the testimony of the Publisher of Daily Nigeria  Jafar Jafar, after he appeared before it's investigative committee of the assembly.

Nigeria's expectations were news of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's resignation, but instead all we were reading about was the same governor advising NYSC corpers to shun fake news and so on......

Now this is exactly my point President Muhhamdu Buhari won the 2015 presidential election on the basis of ''WE WILL KILL CORRUPTION'' campaign in fact i voted and believe in him to tackle corruption to the fullest.

Donald duke has submitted his clearance form to Independence Electoral Commission (INEC) informing them that he earned over 5.6 million in three years,

He also confirmed his tax payment of 400,000 Naira, Duke in his tax certificate with serial number 290664 which was attached to his clearance form CF001 made this known to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC).

Punch reports that the former governor also said that he has never been indicted for fraud by a judicial panel. He also claimed that he had never been involved in certificate forgery.

He also submitted his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) which indicated that he passed all subjects in 1977 when he sat for the exams.

The Presidency has described as absolute disgraceful and diversionary, attempts by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to challenge the authenticity of President Muhammadu Buhari’s West African School Certificate (WASC) in the court.

Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, said this in a statement in Abuja.

According to him, PDP’s action is a complete waste of time because record has shown that the president has higher qualifications obtained through hard work.

The statement read: “We have read that the failed Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is going to court to challenge the President’s West African School Certificate (WASC).

Is marriage worth life?

This is not a film tricks, not one of the scenes acted in Nollywood movies. In a real-life situation, she was beaten to death by her husband, who stuffed her body in this box and was caught on his way to depose her.

Now listen, I have been married before. Blessed with two adorable children, something that was supposed to be a very happy marriage, going by the way it started. Got so soured to even bear with. That’s by the way.

One thing I realised in those times was that your family will never ask you to leave, though you decide to leave, they will not support you in your decision. And when you summon the courage to even finally leave, don’t expect to count on their support. Only a few kind-hearted and understanding ones would extend a helping hand towards you and your children. Others would claim, “were you not the one who decided to leave? Carry your responsibility naw”.

The truth is, these things shouldn’t bother you. Don’t even give thoughts to such, think beyond every form of human help. Perceive yourself as a Conqueror, and visualise yourself being alive in the future with your children. It is more important than answering a WIFE whose life could predictably end up in this way. Thereby forcefully abandoning your children for another wife that will replace you within 1yr or in the hands of well-wishers.

This gory images are that of a woman who refused to walk away when she had the chance to. Apparently she doesn’t want to be called a single mom, a divorcee or a woman who can not stay under a man. So, ya na nwoke ahu ga n’emeju ihe afo, so that she will continue to answer his wife.

Does it really worth it?

I mean looking at these pictures, would you still encourage couples who have fallen out of love to continue managing? Love spells everything in a relationship, but the absence of love breeds things like this. Either the woman stabs/poison the man or the man beats her to death.

Just hold it there, don’t preach to me couples have issues, it’s normal. I know very well they sometimes do, and I also know that if it’s an act done mistakenly, no man who truly still love his wife, would squeeze her in this manner with her pregnancy, and try to throw her away with his own baby. This is wickedness, this is an act borne out of prolonged HATRED.

Take a walk out of that abusive relationship, give yourselves time to breathe, heal and see if planning a comeback will make things right again.

What you don’t know is that, If you keep forcefully get stock there, your kids get spoilt. You spend your whole time quarrelling, fighting, depressed, planning a counter-attack and you’ll never have the time to teach your children right from wrong, no time to show them love or tell them how much you love them. Nor teach them how to love. I mean, can you give what you don’t have?

Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has advised ational Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members posted to the state to join the campaign against hate speech and fake news in the country.

Ganduje, who was represented by the Commissioner for Information, Mr Muhammed Garba, gave the advice at the NYSC orientation camp, at Karaye, during the oath taking ceremony of 2018 Batch ‘C’ corps members posted to the state for the 2018/2019 service year.

According to him, hate speech and fake news have become threats to peace, security and democracy.

‘’We must sensitise our citizens on the dangers they pose, how to spot them and what to do to check the menace of fake news and hate speech.

I tried to upgrade my website by applying another theme, should have backed up but i made a terrible mistake i clicked on import and all my files were wiped off.

I lost everything now i had to reload wordpress and start all over.

My problem now is how do i stop google from referring to the old posts that were lost, because when you click on them it says page not found and that is not good for SEO.

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Adeseye Ogunlewe, on Monday commended the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for promising to give the South West the Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) slot, if elected.

Ogunlewe, a former Minister of Works, gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.

Persons affected by recent flood disasters in Adamawa have appealed to the Federal Government to come to their aid to ease their hardship.

Between July and September this year, thousands of people were affected by the flood in 18 out of 21 local government areas of the state.

NAN findings revealed that majority of the affected communities were those located close to River Benue.
Majority of the victims are currently living as IDPs in temporary camps provided by state government across the state.

Yusuf had kicked against his suspension by the NHIS governing board, saying he would resume work on Monday.

But the NHIS workers union had threatened to lock him out of office.
