Why do you guys see people come here to ask for reseller price. Cos most of them cant put their money down for 2 weeks but in 2 days hell yeah. Una go feel say clients dey ground to buy phones but with time all that will change. If I was an end user with this 2days I no go go cv go buy we die here . It’s not about being shortsighted...if this rates have been here u wouldn’t have said this rather u would have become accustomed to it and negotiate better..we all know clone charges almost this same rates and way more higher pick up fee and items still don’t get here in time when he does ship.. these same pple complaining now are the same pple that complain when Lionlee’s shipment exceeds 10 days saying that they have waited for long and the value of their items are dropping...if lionlee wasn’t doing pick up and most of us still use company’s like cargoatlantic to ship items to Nigeria..they charge way higher than what pickers on Nairaland charge and items can get delayed for almost 3 weeks..cargo Atlantic charges 30 dollars on used phones no matter the type and 45 dollars for new phones..I think y’all need to start negotiating better

its not even about the fees. That one real lowballers can overcome it. But have you thought of supply overcoming demand in the long run? When that happens my brother phones go quick enter naija but to sell am go slow die. Just watch. Most of you are pushed by the December and January delay. So it looks too sweet now. it's best you put faces/names to those choosing 2 days or normal shipping, so you know how to make your decision. Either you like it or not,there's a particular clique/set of buyers that you benefit from more than others and they definitely have more volume of items than most, if they aren't making profit with the 2 days shipping balance, they won't be coming back as often as they have been and I believe you know what that means.

You can't expect someone buying a container load of items to choose air-freight (which is definitely faster than sea-freight), same way you don't expect someone buying just one or two pieces to choose sea-freight.

Also, all the sellers on offer up, letgo etc also are selling to meet a need and make profit, no matter your lowballing skills, they have a limit they won't go below except you use lowballing++ , which means number of deals would definitely reduce.

I believe majority of your clients here deal in Lagos, Lagos prices are quite volatile, an item's price in Ikeja can drop as much as 20k in a week, while this may not affect those in other parts of the country, though ecommerce doesn't have borders but your local market matters.

2days shipping is sweet. Boom the phone Don show. But in the long run the business no go dey profitable cos so many people plus end users go decide to import sef. Its similar to uber, when it came out uber only allowed cars from 2005 upwards to run on the platform but as soon. As they made it more lenient from 2000 upwards, every Tom dick and Harry Don enter the biz even cars of 1999. Today go to uber thread and see ppl selling off their cars as it no longer profitable. Those on it are complaining badly. On a daily basis ppl are registering to drive on uber. Una no go seem am now. E sweet but later later many will find the business tougher and not worth it. Chicago gan nor too get deals even Kansas and indiana na him worst pass. You go see 3 people want chop one deal lol. Bring on the 2days shipping let's enjoy the business while it lasts
