Manufacturers battery goes for 2hrs 50min to 3hr 00min in practical terms. Double cell lasts for about 5hrs15mins to 5hrs50mins.

Replacement batteries aren't fake. These are batteries that are manufactured with a low capacity Li-Ion Cells so that

1. There is an easy replacement for those laptops whose models have been phased out and whose batteries cannot not be found from the manufacturer.

2. Laptops whose batteries cost almost half the price of the laptop. Users of such laptops would rather opt for the replacements as against going for the manufacturers'. Think, why would you buy a PC for NGN40000 and the battery is almost NGN22500?

3. Those who wouldn't mind spending less can still get battery for their laptops with cells that hold power that lasts long enough for a prolonged back-up and shutdown before power goes out- for those who have electricity most of the time.
