Hello guys

Is there any game that is similar to Modern combat series and it's offline?

Data and battery is not an issue for me but i don't know why i don't fancy online games such as COD, PUBg and co.

Guess I am stuck in the past

Well you are almost there and I believe you can do better.

I don't know if you wrote academic or General Ielts but I wrote general so i will give tips on how I aced it.


Get familiar with all 4/5 types of essays and know how to answer them

Practice a lot with by timing yourself with no disturbance. Try to dedicate time to task 2 first then come back to write task 1. When you practice a lot you can finish writing in about 50 minutes

Makesure you make your writing legible and neat and also try to download and print the writing answer sheet and use it to practice so you would know how many lines you need for 250 words and above.

Follow the general technique of essay writing. ALWAYS PARAPHRASE THE TOPIC AND STATE YOUR OPINION WHEN ASKED TO

Makesure you use a decent grammatical range in writing, use the writing conjuctions, words, punctuations etc.

First paragraph (paraphrase)
Body paragraph 1
Body paragraph 2
Conclusion

Also go to YouTube and check ielts liz. There's also ielts jacky (people rarely use her but i like her method)

This is not the reason for profile being ineligible. With a minimum of 6 in any of the ielts test sections, you should be eligible. Check that the POF that is quoted meets IRCC requirement.

this thing cost me ontario pnp in 2018. I was on 415 crs and did not open an ee profile as i thought 8777 only can open a profile, a week later they send pnp invite 400 and above. If your have bsc only and a low ielts scores the person wont like meet 67/100. But with 2 or more, masters, 6666 it will be above the 67/100 threshold

You are very correct sir. Reason why I put 'I think' in my statement as I wasn't sure what he was really doing wrong.

I wanted to enter express pool but the eligibility check is saying that I am not eligible. What is actually the problem. My Ielts is 7.5,6,6,6. I thought that band 6 is the required band to enter the pool.

I think you need a minimum of 8,7,7,7 in LRSW.

So try to write Ielts and get the max score. 8.5,8.0,7.5,7.5 that is

hello guys, please i am in the process of registering for IELTS but now i dont know whether to go with British Council or MOD IDP, considering i wish to write the test in the paper based format. so please, can anyone advice on which is better, BC or MOD. thank you

Well, they both offer the same test at a slightly different fee. I don't know how true, I have been hearing BC offering computer based test recently.

However MOD IDP offers paper based test with headphones, serene environment and Covid-19 precaution protocols. Their customer service is also commendable. Some people believe MOD IDP are less stringent with their markings but i believe there's an element of luck in the exam. ( i remember guessing about 3 questions in listening and i still got an 8.5)

Whichever you choose, practice well, take the exam when you are most confident and hope you get lucky as i stated luck can be a factor in the test.

I'm about to start the etx process for my bachelors degree but I'm worried because I don't want to pay the WES fee for ECA yet until my extra certificate is ready, so they can be evaluated together. Can I still continue the process or do you think that might cause me issues

You can send your transcript to wes and pay for evaluation later when your extra certificate is ready.
I presume you know how to generate a wes reference number without payment and if you don't just click on Western Union on the payment page and you'd get a reference number you can use for your etx.

BCS is a professional examination that takes places twice a year and it can be used as an additional programme to earn more points.

The certificate is called Certificate in IT and it comprises of 3 modules (Software development, information system and Computer network technology) and that's about £130.

You have to pass all three (40% in each module) to get the certificate and the exam normally comes out in 12 weeks but the pandemic made the results of March candidates delay till ending of August.

There's a telegram group containing past and prospective students and a drive with the syllabus and textbooks so you can have a glimpse of what you are about to go into. There are also good tutors incase you aren't IT inclined and you need a help in learning the basics.

There are centers in Lagos, Abuja and other states i cannot remember. Check page 1 for more info and Google them. The next exam would be taking place in November, 2020

That's Nigeria for you. Everything is designed to make life difficult for no reason. In year 2020, a university does not want to be part of a process that makes things faster and easier for its alumni. Well that's why private schools are getting better than them.

Yes, I wasn't expecting it. I checked last week Thursday and I saw that completion date was 1st Sept. Just decided to check this evening whether they requested for verification so I can tell the uni records guy and I saw that it has been ready since Friday. So surprised.

Registered 25th July and paid 27th, transcript sent through ETX-NG to WES by 3rd August and report out 7th August.

That's pretty fast. Thanks for breaking it down.

ETX-NG is super fast, I must confess. I helped one of my friends process her transcript from uni.

At first, the uni wasn't registered on ETX-NG, I put the records guy through, he sent them a message on their website and the uni got registered the next day. Then he sent my friend's transcript last week Monday and the report came out same week Friday, just 4 days.

Most courier services would have just arrived by that time, so it's way better to use ETX-NG o.

I think people like UC web because of the seamless download manager and it's one of the few browsers that you can get a download icon when watching a video (phoenix browser has this too). I resorted to phoenix browser after uc web decided to bully me with ads on a phone i bought with my own money.

Use phoenix browser. It's the only browser i know that has something similar to the downloading options of uc web and it's pretty fast too. Assuming it can support my system font i would have loved it more. You can try it out though
