Autos › Re: Why Do Nigerians Wrap Old Used Cars With Cellophane Like Bread by Laideabdulahi: 10:47am On Jun 18, 2025 |
savcy: They do the same for used laptops. They weirdly wrap the screen with cellophane. I think its a disguise to trick unsuspecting buyers that the product is in an almost new working condition. Nigeria is a place where deceit manifests in every facet of society, so no surprises here. It is to protect the product, and not deceive |
Autos › Re: Why Do Nigerians Wrap Old Used Cars With Cellophane Like Bread by Laideabdulahi: 10:46am On Jun 18, 2025 |
erad: Most cars I know that are wrapped are tokunbo and it's a standard practice.
It makes no sense for the car to come that way and for the seller to remove it just because of what?
Majority of these cars are shipped with other items so the wrap is to protect the interior from whatever they might come in contact with before, during and after shipping. Simple and accurate response. Common Sense , they say is not even common. But some persons that know import process or have never trade a pen, will come online to start practicing tribalism. Kilode. We can never grow and be better in the country. Laye |

doyin01: The agents are the reasons houses are expensive for rents in nigeria most especially lagos.
You will hear that a house yearly rent is 500k and you will hear total package is 700k..like almost 50% extra to be paid all in the name of agency fees , caution fees and nonsense things..
Agency fees that is not supposed to be more than 10% , naija agents will charge even up to 40% ..smh This is even fair. Rent 500k, total package 700k. My guy rented an apartment (2-Bed) in Ogba for N1.4m per annum, total package was #2.4m |
