I have no problem with destruction of People's properties by Lagos state government, but what I have problem is them destroying people's properties without any prior notice. You just wake up one morning and your house is leveled aground without any form of compensation. The same modus operandi the emperor of Obio Akpor is using in Abuja. If I say what is on my mind now , I am going to be labeled a tribalist, So let me just keep shut.

However ,if actually this is how the land were everyone is a PhD holder is operating primitively and sadistically, I am sorry for the land that no one has common first school leaving certificate.
Guy, I believe u get your own brain to judge matters sha? It is not possible for government just to wake up one day and move to a site to demolish it. A lot of quit notices would have been issued which would have been ignored by the illegal occupants. Don't just cry on every matter nah, u self use your head and not ur dick undecided

I know you choose to be cynical but let's leave it as it is. Arab spring was around that period and both local and international sponsors could cripple the Jonathan government. Or is it the enemies within who worked for their own selfish interests? Or what did the Governors do about NOI's advice to save foreign reserves? You don't just analyse topics without contexts, that will be mischief. There is no need to keep justifying what should not be. Time is a good revealer of things.
Ordinary governors discarded Jonathan programme for foreign reserves savings and he couldn't do anything but chickened out and will come back to blame the governors for his own lack of political wheel? These same governors are the ones today running helter and skelter to save themselves from Tinubu's programmes of LG Autonomy, Tax bill, Resource control etc. You sef think am, u be coward?

I'm a yoruba man here and not a tribalist. So u are following Tinubu cos he is a yoruba man. I can now see that you are such a very greedy and self-centered person. I voted Tinubu for desired change and that's what I expected until he started derailing with his evil reform. The worst currently is his stand on making few in his government Happy at the expense of the masses. The evil you guys are doing will surely consumed you. God almighty is watching u all and will give u ur rewards soon
If u like be an agulu man and vote for Sowore grin. And if you like, call me tribalist bcs I voted for Tinubu, na u sabi! I voted for him bcs he has shown capacity from his antecedence to lead Nigeria out of her present predicaments. Lagos was his testimony. None of the other candidates have anything close to that be it Atiku or Obi. I cant leave someone i saw firsthand his capacity and follow someone with no track record. You have your conviction and I also have mine. Why should my own turn to tribalism? I know u are Pandora follower but i will pretend as if u are not grin
We who truely voted for Tinubu know him very well, we know his capacity and we understand his policies mean well for Nigeria. It is just a journey to an expected end. We are not in hurry grin

Despite all the mockery, dehumanizing name-calling, and dramatization of his burial, Jonathan's prioritization of citizens' lives by not allowing them to be slaughtered in the name of protests--something your paymaster failed to do a few months ago regarding his desire to remove the fuel subsidy—is being termed cowardice by you. In that case, you are even worse than your paymaster and Satan himself. Why didn't your paymaster allow them to protest in peace? You and people like you seriously need urgent and mandatory brain surgery.
Jonathan is a coward bcs the protest that came up doing his time was sponsored by oppositions. He gave in to them and chicken out like a coward. Same thing happened to Tinubu, the protest was sponsored by oppositions, he knew it and quelled it, nipped it in the bud. That's the difference. Where are those people inviting Russia again? His own was even more brutal having international undertone compare to ordinary Ojota protest that consumed the coward u called a president.

But u are supporting the agulu man who put Anambra money into his own family bank for self enrichment at the impoverishment of his own people. Pandora papers exposed him. You are even wasting your energies on people with low intelligent quotient. Let him mention one past president who has fought cabals and status quo as Bola Ahmed Tinubu. All of them including Obasanjo, Yaradua, Jonathan, Buhari avoided the oil cabals, dollar cabals, Northern cabals, status quo cabals. Only Tinubu has faced them and conquered and u are there calling him coward. Obasanjo, Yaradua, Jonathan and Buhari all avoided the issues of Oil subsidy, Dollar subsidy, Restructuring, State governments demystification, LG Autonomy, Resource control which are the real sources of Nigeria's problems. Someone has come after all these issues one after the other unapologetically and these dumbs are there calling him coward. What do we then call all his predecessors? grin

Go and read Bola Tinubu's open letter to Jonathan back then, then come reply me sir. It's available on the internet, please don't reply unless you read what Tinubu advised for reforms in 2012.
You are still getting it wrong. Whatever he wrote there. Bola Tinubu then, was a follower just like all other Nigerians, Goodluck Jonathan was our leader. Jonathan was supposed to show us the way, Tinubu should not be held responsible for his failures, Tinubu was also just a common follower and wailer back then. Jonathan carries the blame for abandoning his good policies just bcs of political expediencies. Now Tinubu is the Leader and he is showing capacity to lead even in tough decisions irrespective of his political fortune. That's a Leader. Why didn't Tinubu also chicken out despite all the hunger protests nationwide? That's the difference. There is a saying that when u solve one problem, u will create another one. His own solutions to Nigeria's perennial problems will not come without another problem. He will eventually set the prosperity way for the country. The end justifies the means. undecided

What you want is militocracy, not democracy. You want a dictator who doesn't care whose ox is gored. One who lacks empathy and will not carry his people along because he is making the best decision for them. One who thinks he owes them no accountability and is a god. I was a critic of Jonathan too but there's nothing he did that these guys have not done worse and that's the biggest sign of hypocrisy and cowardice, not bravery. The gentleman was even courageous enough to host townhalls on the subsidy debate, and I remember Jonathan was told to fix the refineries. The ACN propaganda machine was so strong, they seized the opportunity to destroy dialogue and progress of the nation for their own selfish benefits. Those are not heroes to me, they are liars.
A good leader is the one who knows the way and determines to lead people through it, irrespective of the challenges. Succumbing to whims and caprices of your followers (people who your are supposed to show the way) is a sign of weakness and lack of direction. The end justifies the means. The road to freedom can never be smooth and followers are bound to complain. A good leader who knows the way will never compromise at the murmuring of people who are meant to follow him. The end will justify the means. Moses in the bible, and other world reformers have all gone through what Bola Ahmed Tinubu is going through, he will deliver just like them. We the majority understand with him and are not in hurry. The minority can always have their wailing, we understand. The next election will prove him wrong or right. undecided

Jonathan was the president of Federal Republic of Nigeria same as Tinubu today. Same policy but one chicken out like coward and priotized reelection over necessity. I don't know what these people want? You want Nigeria to change for better, but u want the status quo to remain? Obasanjo, Yaradua, Jonathan, Buhari have all gone through same road, bcs they want to satisfy people and they lack courage but Nigeria remain same with no progress. He chose the most difficult terrain but solution way, we are complaining. So bcs of next election, he should sacrifice development on the platter of reelection? The same thing that Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari did priotising re-election over necessity. We truely deserve our kind of leaders. undecided

The relocation wave is surging with intensity. Landmark Group has boldly uprooted and shifted its entire operations. One can only hope that the dominant Niger Delta-owned banks and oil giants will seize the moment, relocating their headquarters—or at least a significant part of their operations—to Port Harcourt. Failure to act now risks leaving the region vulnerable to the next toxic chapter of political neglect and economic marginalization as the proverbial cock crows its timely warning.

Due to numerous inquiries in the thread.PH was part an parcel of the Eastern region. PH was originally developed to evacuate coal from Enugu. PH was originally called Igweocha.

They are absolutely losing their minds over a business that coughs up N10 Billion per year in taxes relocating to PH . Imagine the chaos if bigger players like Access Bank, UBA, Zenith Bank, Seplat, Nextoil, or even the Zinox Group decide to pack up and leave too. Lagos is living on borrowed time, and the clock is ticking.

Word on the street is that even Dangote is fed up with Lagos’ endless drama. Rumor has it he’s planning to move his main HQ to Abuja and rent out his Lagos office once it’s finished. If that happens, expect BUA to follow suit, and Lagos will finally settle into the role everyone’s been envisioning: the economic hub of Yoruba land and little more.

This incidence of stampedes in yoruba, Igbo and Hausa land has really exposed the true identity of the 3 main tribes in Nigeria. The Igbos and hausas moved on like nothing happened. The law has been set aside for we-we. But the yorubas are ready to apply the law. No wonder the igbos are calling for Nnamdi Kanu's release despite same person engineered the killing of his own people, while the northerners too have been calling for amnesty for bandits. But you will never see any Yoruba man call for release of igboho or dele farotimi, even though these ones are not causing any insurrection in their region or killing their own people. That just gives us the idea of what each country will look like if they all have their independence.
