They already made over 400 million dollar in 9 months in 2024 s from tourism .. The tourism industry in Congo is already making more than x times 10 annually the money used ro advertise per yeat

First step the doctor would have taken even if she doesn't want to bring out the patient was to first examine or check the patient condition while in the car and that can give clear knowledge of they can handle or refer.
None of them tried to examine the patient or go close.
The ethnic of their profession is to save life. When you don't have a nurse or other health worker to wheel a patient then a doctor can do so if that will save life.
If it's a private hospital that doctor could be on his way.... Save a life first.

What Nigerians don't understand is that the healthcare sector is grossly UNDERSTAFFED.
Statistics are being released everytime to show total number of doctors and nurses in Nigeria to attend to over 200 million people.

Most times the teams are never complete( just about 30 percent). That means each staff will be doing 3 people's job.

Staff have complained to management and policy makers and nothing is being done. I guess they prefer to buy new cars , renovate and loot while the masses keep blaming the doctors and nurses.


The effect is what you have experienced.
