https://portal.uea.ac.uk/student-support-service/international-students/visa-support/applying-outside-of-the-uk/brp Your 30 Day Vignette to Enter the UK When you apply for your visa outside the UK you will be asked to provide an intended travel date. We suggest that you choose a date 7 days before your course start date. Successful applicants will be issued with a vignette in their passport which is valid for 30 day. This will cover a period before and after the start date of your course, according to the intended travel date you stated in your application. The vignette is proof only of your permission to enter the UK. You must travel during these 30 days and you will not be allowed to enter the country outside those dates (if for any reason you are unable to travel you’ll need to apply and pay for a vignette transfer for a new 30-day period). lakeside2u: |

This might help you as contained in my visa decision letter "Your passport/travel document contains a vignette (visa sticker), which you will use to travel to the UK. The vignette is valid for 30 days. If you do not arrive in the UK within this 30 day period you will need to apply for a vignette transfer, the fee for which can be found at www.gov.uk/visa-fees.'' Wish you good luck! afriman123: |

Hello, This is just a warning to all parents to closely monitor what our children are watching on cable tv. You can imagine Cartoon Network, which is suppose to show educative programs to our children, showing adult content. This is holiday period and we need to closely monitor our children. Not only on TV, we should also monitor what our children does on our smart phones and tablets. The kids of the generation are 'eChildren' so let us be very careful.

According to a report on its website, the Financial Reporting Council (FRC UK) has sanctioned KPMG LLP and one of its Partners for findings of misconduct which the firm agreed to. According to the website, “The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) today publishes the report of the disciplinary hearing in relation to KPMG LLP (‘KPMG’) and Mr James Marsh, Chief Operating Officer of KPMG, regarding admitted breaches of the Ethical Standards for Auditors. Following agreement to allegations by KPMG the Tribunal made four findings of Misconduct against KPMG relating to: its failure to require Mr Marsh to sell his shares in Cable and Wireless Worldwide PLC (‘CWW’), which was at that time an audit client of the firm, upon his appointment as Partner in 2011; the lack of sufficient or appropriate procedures to prevent or identify the failure on the part of Mr Marsh to sell the shares; the lack of an appropriate control environment that placed adherence to ethical principles and compliance with Ethical Standards above commercial considerations; and the subsequent appointment of Mr Marsh to the role of Chief Operating Officer when less than two years previously he had been in a position to exert significant influence over the financial statements of CWW. The Tribunal made a finding of Misconduct against Mr Marsh in relation to his failure to dispose of his shares in CWW when he became a Partner in KPMG. In relation to KPMG, the Tribunal imposed a Reprimand and, before discount for admissions, the Tribunal determined a Fine of £350,000 (subsequently adjusted by 35% to £227,500 to reflect KPMG’s admissions). In relation to Mr Marsh, the Tribunal imposed a Reprimand and before discounts for admissions, the Tribunal determined a Fine of £60,000 (subsequently adjusted by 35% to £39,000 to reflect Mr Marsh’s admissions). KPMG agreed to pay the majority of the FRC’s costs in relation to the case.” source: http://disclosureanalytics.info/ |

Here are the IMEI of the phones 013336004282227 (iPhone 5) 013068005088044 (iPhone $s) You can help unlock one & let me know the cost for the other one. Thanks. sun_temi: Permanently and Officially Unlock your iPhone 3GS, 4,4s and 5 |
There are, in essence, three different types of iPhone unlock methods: software, hardware and IMEI. The first two, software and hardware, unfortunately have their limitations and only include support for a limited number of basebands and firmwares. In fact, Ultrasn0w (the current software unlock) only includes support for iPhone 4 models with baseband 01.59.00, which means if you’ve updated your iPhone’s firmware since you purchased it, Ultrasn0w will not be capable of unlocking your phone. The only way around that is to have updated via Sn0wbreeze, which preserves the iPhone’s baseband. Aside from a software unlock, hardware unlock methods (like Gevey SIM) are also limited and simply can’t support the latest basebands of newer iPhone models. The only permanent and “future-proof” type of unlock is through whitelisting an iPhone’s IMEI, which is completely safe and secure. When an IMEI unlock is performed, essentially the iPhone’s IMEI is submitted to the original carrier’s whitelist database. The unlock process doesn’t affect the iPhone, in a physical sense, and doesn’t affect the phone’s factory warranty. Instead, once the IMEI has been processed through the carrier’s backend system, it should be permanently unlocked, regardless of the firmware and baseband (modem firmware). IMEI unlock solutions even function on every iPhone model, including the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3GS on iOS 6.1.3 or earlier. |
