The quincies nut only survived, they reinforced & even got more pawaful. What they do is to steal a shinigami's bankai e.g commanda, byakuya, odas etc xcept for kenpachi (witout bankai) who tried though he waz beaten badly.
As @ las 3mths ichigo, kenpachi & renji were trainin to get stronga...ichigo's fada is alive but i don't know abt his lil sis.
