I know for sure it was Smile, Spectranet and Swift that pushed for NCC to increase the price of data. Before the big boys like MTN, GLO and Etisalat launched their LTE, Smile has been one of the fastest ISP in Nigeria, but u have to pay through ur nose to be able to enjoy their services, that is how expensive it is. Earlier this year, NTEL came with their own LTE, incredible speed with unlimited, but their flaws are coverage and plans that are not affordable for the average Nigerian. Don't get me wrong, NTEL is cheap for heavy users because it is unlimited, but not everybody can afford to pay N10,000 for data every month. What about the people that just want 1gb, 2g or 5gb per month, well NTEL decided no love for them.. what were they even thinking?

Well thank God MTN an glo decided to venture into LTE and that is bad news for Smile and Spectranet as MTN and glo offer cheaper and more flexible plans. The saving grace companies like Smile had was their speed and that was why they could get subscribers in the past... but what about now that MTN LTE speed match Smile if not even faster. As for Spectranet, their own is even worse because their speed is o longer anything to write home about . I have used Smile, Spectranet, MTN, NTEL, GLO and Etisalat LTE and the fastest I have experienced is MTN .

Just Imagine how much Smile and Spectranet charge for data vs MTN

As u ca clearly see, MTN has the better value for money, better speed. I don't even want to go into glo because that one is even way cheaper but their speed is too much dependent on location, it doesn't match that of MTN. I know a lot of Smile users that have already abandoned ship and move to other isp's. I mean why would someone in his right sense decide to pay more for data when there are better cheaper options. Spectranet, smile and swift need to wake up or just pack up if they know they can't match the competition in pricing.

U shld not let the govt deceive u....Smile, Spec, etc was a convenient excuse for govt thru NCC but we know the truth & the truth is that FG needs more money from the citizens just like fuel (87---145), #50 bank stamps, etc

Cos 2day was the final Airtel nite data, I waited on Nepa for lite till it was brought around 2am wey I suddenly woke up only to realise I slept-off on my Android fone & the touch screen wasn't responding again esp the little part of middle screen to the down.

I con dey imagine new fone again....last 2 weeks @ comp village, I couldn't get a fone of 20K, most I saw were 22,5K/23K---95K & now my off-on button don remove (the pad connected to my off-on button don commot but no shaking cos life & health dey me important pass PMB policies)

Bye bye to Airtel nite plan....I enjoy una aldough una still be thief sha & there were many times I slept off without browsing like #200 for 1.5G just gone like that

It's very popular now , , it doesn't get the hype like GOT and breaking bad for now, but they also started on a low key, and suddenly picked up momentum.
Smiling at your officially, I understand the sentiment, I like westworld, for now I won't conclude on them now till end of season two, I'm so opened to be impressed.

U are right....some series started with a bang & their S2 just went down the hill & S3 was a NO NO & just like that, they say a series has been cancelled.
I believe HBO would have told them that the series should not be more than 10episodes @most 13episodes.
U know what makes series lose their taste is when it moves from an 8 or 10 episodes to 18/23 & that causes unnecessary scripts but I have no doubt, WestWorld aka WW would go on to be one of tha biggest series yet.


N.B. I don watch WW episode 9 & I can say, the best is yet to cum

1. There was 90% increment in fuel price, Nigerian didn't protest cos they stupidly took it & smiled.

2. Foods became invisible in the market & Nigerians didn't protest.

3. Foods, commodities & products now sell @ 100% of previous price for instance the Sniper biggest size i always buy for 1,200-1,300 is now 2,500 or the retailer decides not to buy & even when he buyshe must make sure that u gave him the money to get it for u....Nigerians didn't protest or sign petition.

4. DSS, EFCC, ICPC, etc are now above the law & can beused to intimidate pple & instead of Nigerians to see the handwriting of lawlessness, they applauded the man & said he shld ride on.

5. Nigeria is in recssion but someone knowing that Nigerians are gullible said "recession was just a word"....Nigerians didn't protest cos they were smiling.

6. In life when I slap u the 1st time, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & so on & u don't fight back, the next time I would not slap u, I would kill, maim & bury u be that now.

7. Govt from FG to State say there is no money to pay salary but ask the voters in the concluded elections, pple got as few as 2,000naira to vote any of big 2 parties, in Edo, Ondo, Rivers, Bayelsa, etc APC Ondo outspent PDP from 4,000 to 6,000 plus cos PDP were giving 2,000-3000....& then u wonder why 9JA be like this

8. There is a BILL currently to increase VAT thru telecommunication by 9%, CBN gov'nor said NCC shld tax more after 3mins of calling & now NCC wey don grow wings don increase data tariff, it just means that this directive is just the beginning of testing the waters.

I know I have some many series in my system that I haven't watched but knowing that Airtel aka FG (thru NCC) wan Bleep the Nite plan, it's a sad thing to think off.

There has tobe light for me to use the plan for 2day & 29th...30th can't work into 1st Dec since the plan would have been stopped by then
