I am sunmonu lanre, a graduate of zoology frm UNILAG. Also jst concluded my service in Kaduna on Vals day. Am a passionate nature and animal lover. Alwyz insiring to own a farm/ranch ryt frm wen I woz young. Immediately after I graduated, I tried lil farming d@ woz in august 2011.I now kw y most pple back out of farming in nigeria. 1st, dey av little knowledge of farming,dey probably jst ventured in2 it coz dey heard dez money in it,u nid capital to strt up,dependn on wat kind of farming,mechanised farming is expensive,most pple lack persistence and patience therefore can't go extra miles or endure further, a successful farmer has to deprive himslf of so manytins and live on his farm if he wants the optimum result,dis so many pple will neva want to consider, and lastly,farming is nt encouraging only if u truely av passion for it. I later sat down and really tot of it,I said to myslf, I must excell in farming coz I kw wot is required to be a successful farmer. Am done wit service nw, I want to give myslf some yrs to raise fund to strt up my farm,no mata hw little.I av also gained a lot and I met some insiring pple in respect to farming and other aspect of life while I woz in Kaduna.
