As for Tinubu, what he's currently doing is no different from what his predecessors did - one step forward and five steps backwards.

If Nigeria will ever attain unprecedented growth that will transform this country for good (the type witnessed in UAE, Singapore and China in less than 40 years), Tinubu is the wrongest person to drive the process because nobody can give what he doesn't have.

Like I always say, building infrastructure is basic; anyone can do it. Nigeria needs baggae-free, disciplined, focused and innovative leaders to place this country on the pathway to progress. These are traits Tinubu obviously lacks.

As for the opposition, you don't judge a man who hasn't been given an opportunity to hold an office before. Peter Obi, I assure you, will do a much better job than Tinubu on all fronts!

If you were lettered, you would have seen where I clearly stated that the award is bound to be unfair since it's voting-based. The CEO himself cleared the air about how winners are picked and he clearly stated that there were no clear criteria for the selection but instead, a group of individuals who are most probably all Americans are asked to vote. So why should Americans decide for us what good African music should sound like? . This is akin to picking people from Borno or Enugu in Nigeria to decide what a good Texas-styled American country music should be. So tell me, how is such an award not bound to be controlled by emotions and sentiments? Winning a vote doesn't mean you are the best, rather it means you are the most popular and most loved among those doing the votings. The mushroom award is just like the balon d'or where a few French journalists and coaches (who may or may not have one or two things to iron out with the players being nominated) are picked to vote for who they think are the best footballers in the world. Just recently, these voters denied one particular footballer of the honor claiming he had no class and manners😂😂😂😂

In football, the only award that looks fair to a large extent will be the Golden Boot and the Golden ball as they are both based on points system rather than what some individuals think of the nominees.

Any award that is based on voting by a small group of persons can and will never be fair.
Also, since it's an American award, you have no business being there in the first place because the terms 'Good music/good food' are subjective terms and the Americans definition of good music is definitely going to be different from how we Africans see it, the voting is naturally expected to favor those who sound and sing more "American" So why should I leave my culture and start sounding like you just because I want the be decorated? Who TF even made the Grammys the yardstick for measuring success?
