Tbe opening scene on the beach was great. The scene where Rhaenyra puts her hand out to command Vermithor was fücking flames. The scene where she turns around to address the ambitious bastards with Vermithor lurking behind her like a a roided-up demon from a Mike Bamiloye movie was even more incredible.

Then this shot in the final scene as the piece de resistance. Mehn chef's kiss.

Anytime there's fuel scarcity, the guy will just release one yeye press release that doesn't even address the cause of the scarcity. He will just be using ambigious terms.

Just look at how the head of secret service in America was asked to resign for the incompetence of his subordinates. That's how people holding sensitive positions like Kyari ought to be held accountable

I really don't buy this school of thought honestly. After Emefiele's sack, the next person that deserved sack the most is Mele Kyari, there's no justification as to why he still has a job. The NNPC has several high ranking northerners still within the organization if it is about not wanting to appoint a southerner in his stead.

The guy messed up all through Buhari's tenure and he's still messing up till date.

We've lost count of the number of times we've had fuel scarcity while he's the NNPC GMD. The guy just keeps issuing apology every now and then for NNPC's mess up under his watch.

Imagine spending 3-4 hours on fuel queue only to buy at fuel for as much as N900/liter

That guy had messed up as NNPC all through Buhari’s tenure and has continued with his incompetence under Tinubu. I don’t see any rational reason why he still has a job till date .

I mean if the MD of a company constantly posts bad figures, the board/owners would’ve longed sacked him and replace him with someone else who can steer the affairs of the company in the right direction 🤦‍♂️

Dr Doom is the nemesis of Reed Richards. Whenever we see Dr Doom, fantastic 4 are about. So I can't see Feige introducing any version of Dr Doom that doesn't directly lead to the introduction of F4 and Silver Surfer to MCU. Silver Surfer in particular as the herald of Galactus opens up the possibility of a pivot away from Kang to a planet consuming big bad if they want to leave jonathan majors in the dust.

The only problem is that everybody knows the story of Galactus. It's been flogged to death in the F4 movies, the Cadbury breakfast TV cartoon series, the comics etc.

You can be definitely sure that Marvel will reduce that masks time by like 30%, they wont hide RDJ face for 99% of the movie. He's too popular for them to do that.

Theres an alternate vision of Dr Doom that merge with Iron man right? Where they swap brains in college and lived each other life? I know i read an edition like that before, just not sure if its canon enough for them to want to go that route.

Personally would have preferred Karl Urban.

RDJ has gravitas no doubt, but what Karl Urban did in Dredd with only his mouth showing the whole movie was legendary.

Doom is going to be 99% mask so I'm not sure why RDJ is coming back to MCU in that role, when we love him for what did outside the suit as Tony Stark, less so as Iron Man
