The birthday celebration also featured a panel discussion on mentorship, where speakers examined the difference between genuine mentorship and political godfatherism.

Balami, while speaking during the session, recounted his journey from working as a soakaway evacuator to becoming an aviator and entrepreneur, stressing the importance of creating opportunities for others to succeed.

The event ended on a high note, with guests celebrating Balami’s achievements and wishing him greater success in the years ahead.

The panel is expected to submit its final report and recommendations to the Vice Chancellor after completing the additional investigation.

The university said any further action, including possible criminal proceedings, would be considered after the final report is received.

Management also stressed that the investigation would be conducted fairly while measures would continue to be taken to protect the welfare of both students and staff.

“As student leaders, this engagement has further reinforced the responsibility we carry to protect the welfare, dignity and lives of Nigerian students. Beyond reacting to unfortunate incidents, we must also strengthen preventive measures, promote open communication and ensure that students know where to turn when they need help,” the committee said.

We appeal to ASUU-ESUT to reciprocate this gesture by resuming academic activities, while all outstanding issues are addressed through constructive dialogue. Our students should not be made to bear the consequences of disagreements that can be resolved amicably,” the SSG said.

My own Facebook account was suspended when they sent me an email on 6th December, 2024 and I appealed immediately but they didn't release my Facebook account until after 175 days precisely on 30th May, 2025, practically 6 months!

NOTE: I hardly ever post anything on Facebook, except occasional birthdays

Again, they have again suspended my account since 15th January, 2026. I appealed but I am still waiting for them to restore my account till today. Unlike the previous suspension that I was still able to use Instagram which isn't even my favourite app, this time around, I'm unable to use Instagram.

I'm already getting used to a Facebook-less life. These days, I Face my Book.

Who will Tinubu and his courts support

If Tinubu and the courts support wike and recognise his PDP faction, the remaining PDP governors will collapse their structure into ADC as many states have already done in the North East. ADC will become even stronger and fight Tinubu.

If the courts recognise Makinde faction, Wike will be without party and won't be able to go to APC to be under Fubara. Wike's political journey will end shamefully...

In any case double wahala for Wike..

Wike will be disgraced las las

Thank you.

Not all promises are legally binding contracts. For a promise to qualify as a contract, it generally must meet certain criteria:

1- Offer and Acceptance: There must be a clear offer made by one party and accepted by another.

WHAT IS MY REWARD, FOR THOSE THAT STRIVE FOR THIS FEAT

This is a commendable step by Governor AbdulRazaq in strengthening security across Kwara State. The recruitment and intensive training of 2,600 additional forest guards show a clear commitment to protecting vulnerable communities. His visit to the training ground will no doubt boost morale and reassure residents that the government is taking proactive measures. With the guards complementing ongoing military operations, the strategy promises more effective surveillance and sustained control over reclaimed areas. This coordinated approach is exactly what is needed to keep bandits and kidnappers from regaining any foothold.

WHAT IS MY REWARD, FOR THOSE THAT STRIVE FOR THIS FEAT

This appointment signals a needed shift from political convenience to professional competence in Nigeria’s defence leadership. General Musa’s background and experience offer a more grounded approach to tackling our evolving security threats. Still, real progress will depend on pairing military strategy with stronger intelligence networks and community trust. If these elements align, this transition could mark a more focused and effective phase in our national security efforts.

WHAT IS MY REWARD, FOR THOSE THAT STRIVE FOR THIS FEAT

The intensified patrols across Lagos are truly commendable, especially as we enter the festive season. Kudos to the RRS, CSP Shola Jejeloye, and the LNSA for their proactive efforts to keep our communities safe. We encourage residents to stay vigilant and make use of the emergency lines — together, we will ensure a safer #DettyDecember.
