Is it that there are no bloggers in this forum or you guys are just not interested in promoting your blogs?

I propose that members of this forum who are interested in participating, leave your blog site url here. Then each visitor make an effort to leave a comment on the site of your fellow nairalanders.
If someone leaves a comment on your blog or follows it, do your best to leave a comment on and/or follow their site as well.
Here are three good reasons to do this:
1. No one likes to leave a comment at a blog where no one else is commenting.
2. It will increase traffic to each others blogs and encourages members to interact with each other.
3. Google likes websites and blogs that have activity and interaction.
4. You create backlinks on other blogs and thus increase your page rank.
Note: It is not compulsory to comment on or follow all blogs.

I completely agree with you yamakuza. Sometimes we push all the responsibility to the government without doing anything to solve our problems. As you said, the Govt can only do so much.

It is true that unemployment is an issue in most countries, especially the developing ones. Millions of people graduate every year and the next thing on their minds is to seek for jobs. Little do they know that they are just going to join the millions already out there who have no jobs. They obediently join the queue and the "wait for the job" syndrome flows down to them. Getting a job is not bad but waiting for the job to come to you is just not the best. That job you're waiting for is going to get to other people on the same queue before it gets to you.

If the job eventually gets to you, what do you do? Do you let it also pass you by or do you counter it and make your position its dead end?

Realizing that we create our own future is very important here but not many know how to do this. One reason is because we have not answered a very important question which is: "Are we students ready to leave school for the outside world?" What do you think?
