nothing is more depressing than the muddle-headed maniac who always blast out house-shaking music, as if he won't undrstand what the music is saying if he plays the music at moderate volume... some nigerians and there mentality, this doesn't happen in the US where i attended my college.

y do nigerians always find it difficult to comprehend things? Soyinka isn't condemning the internet neither is he saying we shouldn't use it to study. All he is saying is that pple have depended so much on using the internet to study that they no longer see the need to read books. While we use the internet to study (which is fantastic) we should also give due attention to books too, and by so doing our medium of learning will be properly broadened...
