I do agree that there are now cheaper versions of Power Stations, but then that takes us back to the issue of number 1 above - are they really up to the capacity they claim they are?

Even if the conventional/stand-alone option is slightly higher than its PS counterpart of same capacity, the extra will pay for itself through the benefits of independence, control, flexibility and veracity of the system you are getting

Like I implied earlier, Power Stations are a revolutionary and convenient solution, but they have their use-case and pros & cons, and it is good for anyone purchasing them to be aware of them.

1. They are on YouTube as a matter of fact ecoflow always hit 98% capacity test. Search ecoflow tear down on YouTube. They tear it down and the test result are the same with customers that tear it down. You are 200% sure of the component in a solar generator that a solar set up.
2. Brands like ecoflow, bluetti have expansion batteries for example ecoflow delta ultra can be expanded from 23kwh to 96kwh. And the new ultra x can be expanded up to 180kwh.
3. This problem of repair is not a problem in Ecoflow. I was shocked to see they have an office in Garrison here in Ph. And if I had bought from them till now I would have been enjoying free repairs because of 5 years warranty your brand no fit do that one.
4. 3.6kwh all in one colar solar and 1.3kva output is 800k. Excluding panels oya compare.

The only problem with a solar generator is repair and if your brand have offices around the country u don't have any problem again. So the only advice to give to someone is buy from a brand like itel,colar solar,ecoflow they have offices near u.

I am sure people advising you to buy a power station (all-in-one enclosed power box) mean well for you, but note the following about a power station.

- Because the power station is enclosed and already packaged, you are not sure about the quality of the components inside

- Also because the power station is enclosed, it will be difficult for you to upgrade it by adding more batteries or increasing the capacity of the inverter or charge controller, etc, as your economic condition improves. Upgrade would mean replacing the power station completely

- if you need support, you can only get it from the manufacturers of the Power station, because it is typically created as a special product to be managed by them alone

- Finally, the cost of a particular size of power station will get you a larger system if you go the conventional inverter system route.

If you need an energy solution now now now now, then go the power station route. But if you want a satisfying system tailored to your current needs, with independence and headroom for future upgrades while giving you room for flexibility and learning as you use it, then take the next 1 week to understand your load, research options, ask questions on the solar thread and go the conventional inverter system route where the components are all separate.

1. U are 200% sure of the components inside a powerstation because it has been tested by thousands of people.
2. A powerstation is expandable
3. You are 100% right. This is what I'm experiencing with eden solar I posted some time ago. They only have branch in Lagos and sending to Lagos is too expensive over 100k and they are not willing to have a branch.
4. This is 50% true and 50% false. they are cheaper brand like Haisic and colar solar. And it can save money more than when an engineer give u material to buy and add his choppings. The brands that are expensive are ecoflow and bluetti and they have 5 years warrantyand other offers that ur cheap brand don't have and they offer other things ur cheap brands don't offer. For example high over panelling tolerance. For example I have a colar solar 4 days solar charging it was in one bar but in ecoflow it is so aggresive in solar charging and will go from 0-100 in few hours. The company even recommendu over panel by 100% your cheap brands can't recommend that.
