Sex can be a much more passionate experience when you share it with a meaningful partner. Sex may feel like a mere means of pleasure and fun but there is a lot of good that it can do for your relationship. To some people sex may seem overrated, but we give you five reasons why sex is beneficial for your relationship. Keeps you connected Sex is an intimate experience, which can bring you closer to your partner not just physically but emotionally. Your bedroom chemistry can also improve the chemistry in your relationship. A sexless relationship can become vulnerable over time and therefore, you need sex to keep the fire burning, could also lead to your partner cheating on you hence you need the sex to keep going. Keeps stress at bay With the kind of lives we live, stress has become an integral part of it. This often takes a toll on your relationship. However, research shows that sex releases a feel-good chemical in the brain, which reduces stress levels. Instead of resorting to antidepressants, engage in a heated sex session to improve your well being and strengthen your relationship. Keeps the romance alive Sex may seem like a physical activity but it has an emotional appeal to it. For being found guilty of stealing a laptop and mobile phone at gunpoint, a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja yesterday sentenced a 25-year-old male hairdresser, Izunna Ajaere, to death. The presiding judge, Justice Kudirat Jose, sentenced him after finding him guilty of two-count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery brought against him by the Lagos State government. “The evidence of Mr. Uchenna Ukah was clear and emphatic, the victim of the crime was pivotal in convicting Ajaere. The prosecution has proved the charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and armed robbery beyond reasonable doubt “The defendant is hereby sentenced to death for conspiracy to commit armed robbery and sentenced to death for armed robbery. He is to be hanged by the neck till he is dead, may the Lord have mercy on your soul,” the judge ruled. At trial, the prosecution counsel, Mrs. A.B. Awosika, had told the court that the convict committed the offences around 9:30p.m. on June 22, 2012 at No. 12, Vincent Eze Street, Ajao Estate, Lagos. She told court that his offences contravene Section 295(2) and 297 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011, adding that the convict alongside an accomplice had accosted Ukah at gunpoint outside his flat. “Ukah led them to his flat where they stole a laptop, a modem and a blackberry mobile phone. Ajaere and his accomplice after the robbery locked the complainant in his apartment with the intent to also rob his neighbours. The complainant managed to get out of his apartment to raise the alarm leading to Ajaere and his accomplice being apprehended. In his defence, the convict denied robbing the complainant. He said he went to Ajao Estate for hairdressing work and was arrested by policemen during a raid. More here: http://orjisblog.com.ng/2017/10/06/hairdresser-to-die-by-hanging-for-armed-robbery/

In a bid to expand its reach and earnings, e-commerce giant, Jumia, has introduced a personal shopper bot to help the company serve their customers better. The Chief Executive Officer, Jumia Nigeria, Juliet Anammah, made this known in a statement in Lagos. Jumia Bot works by asking customers what they are looking for, and then uses their answers to uncover the best offers available on the Jumia platform. “This innovation powered and hosted by Facebook Messenger, will offer Nigeria’s 18 million Facebook users the ability to get their own personal Jumia shopping assistant directly on Facebook Messenger. “Using Jumia Bot, shoppers can order food, find fashion or electronic items and book hotels and flights by simply having an online conversation with the bot. “The Jumia Bot, which is Nigeria’s first e-commerce bot, works by asking customers what they are looking for and then using their answers to uncover the best offers. “For example, to get access to the best hotel and airfare deals on Facebook Messenger, a user can simply provide his or her preferred date and destination to the Bot to see the top recommendations,” Anammah said in a statement. Anammah said that once a user’s criteria were selected, Jumia Bot would remember and use the research for his or her next order. “The Bot uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and natural learning process to hone in and learn users’ preferences over time, to make recommendations that are personalised, timeline and useful to the shopper. “The shopper’s post-order experience is also integrated into Jumia Bot. As a result, shoppers can track their orders and contact the Customer Service team for follow-up questions. “The significance of this new service is that the Jumia Bot has a very simple yet important objective to help our customers get to personalised deals on Jumia Nigeria. “We are pleased to unveil this new dimension of e-shopping for the Nigerian customer, and excited about helping to pioneer the next wave of local content and tech tools within our ecosystem.” More here: http://orjisblog.com.ng/2017/10/04/jumia-launches-first-ever-e-commerce-robot-in-nigeria/ Lalasticlala

The Lagos State police command has arrested two Uber drivers who specialised in robbing women of their valuables at gunpoint. The drivers, Fosta Rufus, 30, and Franklin Jogbodo, according to the Special Anti Robbery squad boss, Mohammed Sanusi, picked up their targets around Lekki, Ajah and Victoria Island areas of Lagos. This is the second of such arrest of Uber drivers in Lagos. It was gathered that the suspects were accused of robbing their victims of valuables such as jewelry, expensive phones and cash, and their victims are mainly ladies who go out at night. Lagos State police boss, Imohimi Edgal, who paraded the suspects at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja, said the suspects sometimes would follow their victims to an ATM machine from where they would force them to withdraw cash at gunpoint. He added that the suspects have admitted participating in three different robbery operations in the past. “On one occasion the suspects collected the sum of N86,000 from their victim using her Access Bank ATM. They have both confessed to the crime.” He said that a KIA Rio with registration number BDG 376 EP used in perpetrating the crime and other valuables, which including Samsung Galaxy 7edge plus and iPhone 6 plus, allegedly collected from their victims identified as Nancy Nzuegbo and Eze Chinonso, were recovered from the suspects. The Lagos police boss said he has directed all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers to maintain police visibility in major roads and neighbourhood across the metropolis. “I have also directed them to carry out constant raids of back spots. We hope to sustain the current low crime rate in the state” he said. In his confessional statement, Franklin denied robbing anybody, saying it was his friend, Fosta who dragged him into the problem. He said he was the one who introduced Fosta into the Uber cab business. According to him: “I met Fosta while working with UBA as a driver. I met him again sometime this year. I helped him to register as an Uber driver. It was him who collected the phones that were found on us from some ladies.
