[quote author=Cromcruach91 post=65999045]Before we grumble...consider a few facts

1.When we privatised electricity distribution and generation, the price increase was written into the law that governs the thing.

2.We need anything between $300-900billion to get light 24/7.

3.Privatization means that you pay more from your pocket.

4.We have to pay our bills...and let's be frank...we pay bills lower than countries like Ghana...who pay twice as much as we do.

5.Electricity is not a free lunch.

MODIFIED

To all that responded to me, thank you very much.

I just want to leave this fact for you guys...

[b]We need $300 BILLION to get light 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our foreign reserve is $40billion. Let that sink in...and then we can talk.
COUNTRIES LIKE TANZANIA A 3BED ROOM FLAT IS PAYING EQUIVALENT OF N500 AND GERMANY IS BEGGING FOR WHO WILL CONSUME LIGHT FOR FREE.
MY GHANA TRAVELER DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
PoliticsRe: Okota Residents Storm IKEDC Office Over Exorbitant Light Bill, Make Demand by Layman24: 11:19pm On Mar 15, 2018
Nigerians use paying of Nepa bill to show their Nebor that they are richer than them and if you have financial stress and won't meet up with paying your own exorbitant bill you become a topic in your street. And the tours so called nepa or whatever enjoy climbing poles and dehumanization than providing prepaid meters. MASS PROTESTS OF THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS THE SOLUTION NOT ONLY ONE STREET AFFAIRS

Sigh* the North can't be left to rot educationally like this. The southern people are becoming more exposed hence demanding greater leadership while the north is wallowing in poverty and Islamic fanaticism. The average Northerner doesn't know what an Ideal country should be like instead they have been dashed Islam and many of them think as long as they have Islam they are fine and content.

But the whole of Nigeria can't be free until the North is freed from the shackles holding her down. And until the Northern people are completely mentally free from the perpetual slavery her elites have placed them in, we in the south can continue to scream in futility but Nigeria won't progress.
