Nollywood actress, Juliet Ibrahim who recently revealed that she is a divorcee, says she is not looking for a man.

Ghanaian actress and producer, Juliet Ibrahim, who recently announced her separation from her husband, Kwadwo Safo, has come out to quench rumours that she is actually in a relationship with Nigerian actor, IK Ogbonna, an affair which many pointed out as being responsible for her marriage break up.
When IK Ogbonna posted a video on Youtube begging Juliet to stay with him, sharing photos of their intimate moments, with the words:

«When u realize u are only human … And ur mistakes shouldn’t define u but build u. I am sorry is not just a word ..

«It’s a realization that brings alive a new creation if it’s meant.

Many felt the two were in a relationship even while she was still married but just a few days later, her publicist came out to say that she had been divorced for a long time but because of the child that was between her and her estranged husband, she had decided to keep the separation under wraps.

But in a recent interview, she was asked whether she is in a relationship since she is divorced but she replied that though she is single, she is not in any relationship and is not searching for any.

Nollywood Director, Mac Collins Chidebe has reacted to the recent comment by movie star, Geneveive Nnaji where she said the quality of stories in the industry was responsible for her rare appearance in movies lately. Recall that Geneveive told punch that; “I guess I haven’t found the right script yet. Creativity and depth are the qualities that I look out for in a script."
In the beginning, the movie industry emphasized quantity but things are changing and there is an improvement in trend. I am among the people who advocate for the improvement of the industry. So, I am constantly watching out for the kind of stories I take part in. I am in support of movies that show a great deal of professionalism and creativity. Having practised my art in international & professionally produced stories like ‘Ije’; ‘Mirror boy;’ and ‘Tango with me’, I don’t think I can return to the blandness and mediocrity that characterized Nollywood in the past.”

In his response, Mac Collins Chidebe dissed the Actress for ‘biting the fingers that once fed her” and advised her to help improve the movie industry rather than do nothing.

“Genevieve has just insulted the industry that made her who she is today and what effort has she made to help improve Nollywood? Those days in Enugu when Genevieve was growing in Nollywood, our movies were not rubbish; she has grown now, made money, fame, popularity e.t.c. How much has she invested in this Industry that made her?

” All the while she was busy waiting for Titanic scripts, Nollywood was trying their best to keep the flag flying waiting for her to come back and take the industry to the next level. Artistes should stop biting the fingers that fed them. We are watching and waiting for them to bring down heaven. We made them stars; we are waiting for them to come back and take the industry to the next level. Instead of blasting Nollywood, come and improve Nollywood.” Chidebe said

Nigerian singer, Kefee Obareki Don Momoh who died of lungs failure on June 13th after 15 days in coma at Desert Spring Hospital, Las Vegas will be buried on Friday, July 11th in her hometown of Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East LGA of Delta State.

According to bellanaija: Her family disclosed the information to members of the Kefee Memorial Committee (a collection of artistes and entertainment personalities who paid a condolence visit to the late singer’s parents in their Sapele, Delta State home on Wednesday 2nd July 2014.
On Thursday, her publicist in Lagos released a statement stating her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh who has been making arrangements to bring her body back from the U.S., would arrive the country first to receive her body before taking her down to Delta State for burial.

Kefee’s husband, Teddy earlier indicated that his wife’s family had requested that she be buried in their hometown, with a celebratory service in Sapele afterwards and he was comfortable with the arrangement.

The condolence team who travelled to Sapele from Lagos included Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, Annie Ibrahim, Gordons, Princess, Linda Etukudo, Rex Anighoro, Noah Momodu, Covenant and Chika 100%.

News of her sickness first broke out on May 29 after the branama crooner and radio personality, Kefee reportedly fainted while being on board the plane to Chicago.

Kefee’s medical bills from the US hospital before she passed away were allegedly paid by the current Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, TheNetNG reports.

Before Kefee passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, she was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital for 15 days and placed in the Intensive Care Unit.

An insider in the Uduaghan family revealed: "The medical bills accumulated and was becoming a serious burden for the late singer’s husband to bear, Governor paid for everything."
"Kefee was close to the Uduaghan family. The Governor’s wife Roli Sheila Uduaghan was very fond of her, Kefee performed at her sister’s christening of her daughter," the source said.

A condolence register has been opened for the singer at her restaurant, Branama Kitchen, Mende, Maryland, Lagos.

Davido who also revealed that ‘HKN’ means ‘Honorable Kings of New-school’ also laid to rest several rumors as well as cleared the air on the botched deal with ‘Orezi’.
When asked why HKN didn’t sign Orezi as earlier speculated, he said, “I was just hanging with Dude one day and I decided to tell him, Dude, lets just be friends. And that was it.”
