I just received my passport through a proxy via courier & kinda found an unusual stamp @ the back page of my passport. Does this mean it's been rejected ni? or how does a rejected stamp usually look, as this doesn't say rejected

To your questions:
1.you get charged for receiving call with your Nigeria line and your caller get charged also for calling you since you roaming.
2.receiving text message is free.
3. You Nigeria sim won't be block afternoon out months as long as it's in a phone and at least you revive message with it(am talking based on Mtn cus mine is still active after many years now)
4. Your phone won't be block.phones are not designed for specific country,if it's designed for a specific network then other network won't work on it else it can work on any country.
Hope your questions have been answered
yea it has. thanks bro

Pls I'd like to know more about roaming with my airtel line in Turkey. Though I basically need it to send & receive SMS, is it true one gets charged for incoming calls as well?? (Q1)
I hope to receive SMS is free sha...(Q2)

Also, I learned after 4 months the naija line gets blocked & one has to start using one of their local networks (Q3). Will my naija mobile phone be blocked as well, meaning I'd have to buy a new phone in Turkey after 4 months? (Q4)

4 questions in total... wink

Cheers

Likely questions
from what i've experienced from myself & those around me, as long as your documents are complete, they are basically questions one can confidently answer (except you intend to lie & you get to stammer in the process sha...lol)

@wipp.....omeone said equivalent statement is for those who have not completed their degree that not for secondary school student that have certificate or statement of results how true is it this message for WAEC/GCE holders students? general house comment also on ur own circumstances pls
wip7:
This is just simple English that requires straightforward translation. "Certificate of Equivalence” shows that the high school diploma of the candidate is equivalent to the diplomas of Turkish high schools...............The ministry of education does issue this certificate...I applied in 1999 and my brother collected his about 3 yrs back.
You can email or call Turkish embassy for further clarification. They will tell you what they need and you can supply that.
unfortunately they lack the ability to reply e-mails, as my mails they pile up wey dem never reply. may be you can try giving them a call

The stamps are okay. You went yourself to Ministry of education in Abuja and they told you they just started Equivalence Statementhuh or your agent told you?

No no no Equivalence Certificate is not new is being existing since ages. I collected it for myself in 1999 for 100 naira. ...dont let agents deceive you... its cheap and I mean less than 3k...my younger brother did his own when he was going to traveling for studies in 2013 for 1000 naira.

Best wishes!
wow! Thank God I didn't pay the nigga yet for Equivalence Certificate. I left Abuja yesterday and told him I'd contact him for further transactions when I get to Lagos. He said his insider man @ the ministry wants to collect N20k for him to do it for me & get it by Friday as it takes long officially. His own charge is N2k, courier N2k & his transport fare to courier office & back N1k...total of N25k

that's crazy man

Also only Min of Edu signed at the back of the original copy as well as photocopies, while MFA signed at the back of just the photocopy & not the original. Just wanna know if that's how it's supposed to be

You can get the equivalence certificate from ministry of education in Abuja. Ask for that and they will issue it to you.

You will not have issue with parents consent letter while filling the form unless you have chosen earlier that your date of birth is less than 18 years. Is only compulsory for those less than 18.
Alright, I'll contact my agent right away to confirm as I'm currently in Abj & I actually gave him my result today for authentication. I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow

The Equivalence statement is a document showing how your educational qualifications obtained in your home country relate to the visiting country qualifications/criteria (which is Turkey/Cyprus in this case).
Thanks wip7. So how does one go about this Equivalence Statement? Is it like an official translation of my result to the turkish language or what, as I am confused. How do students usually go about it here in Nigeria

Also, it seems the online application won't allow me submit successfully if I don't upload the No. 2 document, ie Attestation Letter from my Parents (for those under 18) & I am way above 18. How does one go about this as well

Thank You
TravelRe: North Cyprus by layzie86(m): 10:59pm On May 04, 2016
Wow!!! thanks a million @Wip7

Further questions with regards documents to upload, as I'm already on No. 5 (Required Documents) of the Pre-Application

Equivalence Statement
-What does this mean

Student Certificate /Acceptance Letter
-does this indicate my authenticated result with the ministries, as well as the acceptance letter sent by school... or just the acceptance letter alone
TravelRe: Turkish Visa Experts Needed by layzie86(m): 11:16am On May 01, 2016
Hello, please I really need assistance from those who have or are currently studying in Turkey. I have been given admission into
Sakarya University Continuing Education Application and Research Center
Esentepe Campus,
54187 Serdivan,
Sakarya

I’ve also paid my tuition fees & already have my Admission & Acceptance Letter. I’m in the process of applying for a visa, so I need help from you guys. I would appreciate if every question is being treated. Thank you.

1) Embassy requests that the passport photos shouldn’t be stapled to the visa form. So can the photo be gummed to it or one just takes it along separate.
2) Visa Form
a) Duration of Stay
- What duration do students usually fill in the form? Is it a duration of 90 days, which then gets to be renewed or duration of the whole course program as my course ends in May 2019 (the Pre-Application form online can’t even scroll more than 99 days)
b) Port of First Entry or Transit Route
- I believe this would be “Istanbul Atatürk Havalimanı” or is there any other port travelers coming from Nigeria get to arrive at
3) Vaccination Card for yellow fever & typhoid diseases
a) Are there designated hospitals by the Turkish embassy to obtain the vaccination or can it be done in any reputable hospital as I reside in Lagos
4) Travel Health Insurance which covers the entire period of intended stay or transit
a) Are there designated insurance firms by the Turkish embassy to obtain this or can it be done in any reputable insurance firm
b) What duration does the insurance usually cover? Is it for a year which then gets to be renewed, or duration of the whole course program?
