Tell your parent, especially your dad about this your problem. This is important. Even if you are footing the medical bill yourself. They may not have money to help you, but their encouragement will do. Also, trust and depend on God during these time. As youths, you may not understand some things, but your parents will do. They have experience more than you, know a lot about you especially when you were young etc

OP, in addition to zeetyzin and other's advice of hitting the gym, stop if possible eating fried Chicken and beef. Engage in press-up/push up, take more fruits and vegetables like cucumber, orange, almond seed, watermelon e.t.c and see a doctor for professional advice.
Don't commit suicide pls.... life is sweet, u will not know untill U miss one day.

Noooo...it wouldn't take becoming somebody in life to see a Doctor at a public hospital dear.

I believe getting a card in a public hospital wouldn't take more than N1000. That means, with that amount, you can at least see a Doctor, and hear what he has to say. #In fact, there's a General Hospital close to where I work, which issues cards free. Although, you may be asked to go for further tests, I believe having a Doctor examine you will make you a bit calmer. And then, if you're asked to go for further tests, you can start making plans towards raising the money. I feel all these are better options than just allowing your mind roam endlessly on the issue.

I knw ur problem very well. It happened to a very close family member, his started from junior sec skl n he was greatly disturbed by this, it was even harder for him as he was in boarding skl. He went to doctors here in Nigeria but they were speaking grammar. Latter he had the privilege of schooling abroad. He had to use his medical insurance card to undergo a surgery to remove all the tissues from both breasts. He has been happy ever since. Baring his chest in pictures for the first time ever. It costed about 320 k in Naira equivalence. It's not easy, hang in there, your opportunity will come. Take care.

OP I really feel your pain. Its just a hormonal imbalance ish and nothing more. Feel free. People will get used to seeing you that way and it won't matter to them. You're not the first person and you won't be the last. I know of a hairdresser I mean big time hairdresser who has been like that for as long as I can remember who looks just like a female. He has the boobs, the structure, the skin and all of that but he doesn't hide himself and nobody even cares, nobody mentions it and he's doing well financially, has a family. It not a rare sight, stop inconveniencing yourself.

Like they've said, hit the gym and build a masculine figure shikena. I'm hairy on my legs only. I don't have them on my arms or elsewhere. I used to think it was unattractive but men, even women envy me and some jokingly ask me to dash them my legs. But I was still not comfortable with it. There was a guy who was asking me out, he said he liked it. I told him that I didn't and he told me that I don't know that there are people who love me for that reason and that I should go into the stores if possible, find something to rub on it that will make it more attractive and all of that and flaunt it. Since then, I started doing that and I've been the better for it.

Just go on and enhance your looks and that will be the end of your discomfort.

I only lives with my mother and my sisters and brother, i don't think my mother can help, she is not an understanding mother who takes medical conditions serious. I boldly tell you this because since i was bore i have never been to the hospital to take treatment, no matter how serious the illness is.

You have a Medical Problem that was never attended to most likely since you were born. There are hormones responsible for breast development in female which men don't have but because of inborn errors, some men could have the breast becoming big like that of women (Gynecomastia).

I feel you Need to see a Doctor except there are other things outside the female breast that you might possess

Mums in the house i need your advice and opinion, i don't know if i'm having post-partum depression or i'm just losing mind. I had my baby ten  days ago and i've been an emotional mess since. I dont get more than 3-4 hours of sleep all day and i have horrible mood swings. It all began when i returned home from the hospital, i found the whole house crowded, the kitchen was messy and cluttered. I had to swallow a lump in my throath and appear cheerful for the house guests. I've never had to share my space with anyone but my husband. now we have all sorts of people staying around supposedly to help me out, but all i see is people and clutter. its so hard to be cheerful when you're being treated like a friggin invalid while you watch people mess up the home you've kept impeccable for so long. I had thought everything would be alright once everybody left after the naming, but somehow the mood-swings have gotten worse. I've read about PPD and i think what i'm feeling is something along that line. I want to know if anyone felt something similar or its just me

No sir, i have never been to the doctor since the year 2009 concerning this issue, and at the bolded my mum has asked me so many times when she first noticed, but now its of no concern to her because she its already used to seeing me with clothes to the bathroom.

As others have said.

Hit the gym, consider body building it will build your chest muscles and decrease the fat.

Its a hormonal issue, it can be resolved by surgery to remove the breast tissue but that's expensive and can only be done abroad.

Its pretty common so no need to be depressed about it.

In the meantime you can bind your chest if you find it embarrassing. Buy crepe bandage in any pharmacy and simply wrap it around your chest region and use a safety pin.

If you are too embarrassed to go to the gym use the internet and look for exercises for men to build chest muscles. Eat more protein and build up your chest.

yes i experienced it when i attained puberty.
there where some hard tissues arround both nipples..
but they became soft some years after.
i did some weight lifting to boost my chest muscles which in turn occupied the fatty space.

Thank you sir, i will hit the gym starting from today, but mine are big and they are also strong, and its stuck together under the nippless, i have been unable to take my shirt off for so many years now which in turn has made me not to have any girlfriend for so many years now.

Hello dear nairalanders, there is this thread i saw on nairaland fp, about a man with a female brest who came to a church. And since that day i saw that thread my mind has not been at rest ever since, because i have been living with the same condition for over 5 years now, without anybody knowing except myself.
I have this big tissue on both sides on my brest under my nipple, it looks like a seed, at first when it first started it was so very painful for me, but now it is no longer painful.
I think i have endured this very shameful burden for so long now and i think now its the time i seek some solution to it before it will be too late.
Let me give a brief explanation on how this problem has affected my life in so many ways.
I will be 22 on july 13 this year.
It first noticed this tissue growing on my chest in the year 2009 it looks like a woman's brest and to make matter worst it did't match my skin colour its more fairer than my actual skin. It all started when i was still in secondary school i was in SS1 then, it caused me so many embarassment then because its showing in my uniform when ever the breeze is blowing towards my direction, you will notice that there is something in there, i avoided all forms of gatherings including my school assemblings, i avoided camps like a plague, i no longer use bare chest into the bathroom, not even singlet, i always wear shirts into the bathroom, since the year 2009 till date am still wearing shirts to the bathroom when ever am about to take my bath, and in all no body not even my mother or any of my family members has ever seen my chest or my back since 2009 till date as am typing this now, never had a relationship with any girl since then.
It has caused me great pains and sorrows, i just think i should end my life now because of this problem am so ashamed of my self, i don't know what to do with my life my life has been very miserable and pitiful since this problem started i just hate my self, i always loves been alone and i only moves at night with my normal shirts, any single movement in the daytime from me i always goes with my big sweater to make it less noticeable.
Am tired of life, my life is so frustrated and miserable all am always thinking about is how to end my life.
please nairalanders help me please if at all there is any solution to this problem. I want to know and how much it will cost to get rid of it.
