You're the one ignorant sir, the appropriate way bank makes money on int'l online transaction is that they get the lion share from the uploading fees merchant charges i.e 1.9% on skrill, the remaining goes to the MasterCard/Visa.(that's why there's discount on cash payment in most stores )
Even when dollar was @200Naira, U ll have to wait for upto 3 weeks before u could use Moneygram, whereas it's the opposite when you are trying to send from USA to naija.
