Kekereekun123: job function is not required on reference letters. But job duties. Your HR can list all your duties and you chose your noc from there Ok pls i mean that for the 2 years am claiming i did two duties . one of them about 19months and the second duty 5 months . Since I did both duties in the 2years , can I group 2 job titles as my job titles Loan off/ E banking officer? ? And then list my duties under the title? |

Hello Pls is it ok to write a job function in the job reference letter like this for instance: Job function : Loan officer / E-banking officer - Meaning these 2 functions were done at about the same period. Will it be accepted? Leapp: Hello Pls is it ok to write a job function in the job reference letter like this for instance:

youngwolf: I think you should try to coin interbank arrangement role as your duties and functions briefly. That NOC code has duties and functions of many other job roles in finance so all the functions of 1114 cannot apply to you. I’m also fall in that category and that was the NOC I used and include your normal roles and responsibilities you do daily. But you should also clarify further because im not an expert in this NOC matter. Thanks a lot o . Very helpful response. |

youngwolf: If I understand your question you want to know the roles and duties of a fund operations offiucer? Ok what I mean is this . I already know the functions of an FT Officer but i want to know if am supposed to list *interbanking arrangement officer* in addition to the other functions or how will i do it ? Because all other functions in Noc 1114 don't match funds transfer role. |

SunshineD1: List all your roles, period and functions/duties under each role.e.g Funds transfer officer, from Jan 2020 to June 2020. List your functions under it. Merchant teller... Same Front desk teller... Same Cash and teller services officer... Same Customer service unit... Same Ok ok, thanks a lot Sis. Ok so if I do it this way will I be able to claim up to one year experience for any of the functions above and claim Noc for a particular one? |

amaya21: Even if you add work experience before 2010 to the EE system, remember an actual person will be reviewing the application when you eventually submit. VOs have been known to recalculate points downward if they find something amiss. Ok ok noted. Thanks a lot |

Thank you so much . I really understand now. But the issue is that as a banker I did different functions at different times of the year interchangeably. One year can be FT officer, another year Merchant teller only to come back again and do the same FT officer the following year. There is never really one desk u work on but work on 2/3 desks at different times of the year as an operations staff.
How will I group all these functions and the months they were done in my reference letter if they were not done in a stretch but interchangeably?
Is there not a general job title for a bank operations staff ? |

Kekereekun123: they use date on reference letter.
The letter can say mr leaap has worked with us from 2009 till date. From 2009 to 2016 he was a driver. From 2016 to date he was an agbero. His duties as agbero are listed below.
1 2 3 4 5 Thank you so much . I really understand now. But the issue is that as a banker I did different functions at different times of the year interchangeably. amaya21: You can still apply, however you would only be able to claim just over 1.5 years of experience if you were to get ITA this month (May 2010 to Jan 2012). You can only claim work experience in the last ten years.
Remember that you need at least one FULL year of full time work experience in the last ten years to enter the pool. So you need to hustle to get ITA while you still have at least one full year of work experience that meet the conditions. Another option is to have your spouse (if applicable) be the primary applicant. You need to simulate your CRS scores to see who would be better as the PA.
If you have a registered business with documentation you may also use that as well. However you need a good paper trail to make this work. Thank you so much . But does it mean EE calculates my work experience from the month they send me the ITA or from the date I put on my job reference letter as the month I did the job? Also is it necessary to include all the job functions I did before 2010 in my job reference letter? Does it help in any way to show I have some past work experience before 2010? Pls your suggestions. |

Good day everyone, I have been following the express entry threads and found it very informative. Pls I need help with this situation.
I left banking in Jan 2012 after 8 years experience and not gotten another office job. So I have been out of any paid job from 2012 to 2020 ,eight years now till present. Can I still apply for EE ?
Since EE says 10 years back , so from 2020 can I apply with the 2010 to Jan 2012 experience I have? How will I explain these 8 long years I have not been in paid employment?
Pls need suggestions . Thanks |
