is it web or stand alone app ?

pls programmers in the house my visual studio.Net 2010 started showing "Not Responding" each time i perform tasks like changing name properties of a combo box control or trying to double click on a form to view code etc. it will hang for like 20 minutes. i have formatted the pc and re-install visual studio .NET 2010.
