Please if F11 applicant is married and has marriage certificate. Will the embassy know if the applicant doesn't tell them. I mean if they do their own background check will they know?

Please help me. I am in F11 Category (unmarried adult son/daughter of a US citizen). I am not supposed to marry but can have children in this visa category. I am not married but have kids. My interview went well. I just had a call from the embassy that they need my GPS address to my house for which I have sent them. Please if they come and know I'm single and live alone. how long will they take to approve my visa or how is the whole process going to be.

After under go additional reqesting document you are told ..we are returnig your passpoort back to you come pick it does that mean visa has being granted or what

Did they send you an email or they called you? Which visa category?

Please is there any website to create my CV and cover letter to match up wit the USA system?

Hi everyone,my interview is in 2 weeks “Case Last updated” date keep changing on the CEAC visa status check. Is this mean embassy is touching mycase? They are working on it? Please kindly help. Thanks

I added the W-2 of my main sponsor but I didn't add that of my joint sponsor.

Then could that be the why it was rejected?

I had tax returns and I was placed on administrative processing and asked to submit IRS transcripts same as everybody that was interviewed that same day. Even my friend that went recently also said the same thing..

If it's not too late, better tell your petitioner/joint sponsor to get you their IRS transcripts and W-2 to avoid being placed on administrative processing. Trust me, you don't want to associate yourself with AP. I'm still in it without knowing my fate as I write you now.

Ok thanks but when you took the tax returns you added the W2 and they still rejected it?

Please my interview is near. I have my petitioners 2024 tax return and W2 at the moment. Will the embassy accept this combination ( tax return and W2) or i still have to get the tax transcript

The lady said she doesn't want want individual income tax return but IRS transcripts.

But did you add the W2 when you took the tax return?

But what's the essence of the In-person document review if they couldn't tell me those tax returns were not going to be accepted at the interview proper. I personally asked the person that conducted it if all my documents were completed, he said yes and sealed everything up in an envelope and gave back to me to return on the interview day. Also, in the handout they gave to us it was clearly written tax returns or transcripts.


I live far away from Lagos and I have had to travel to Lagos on 5 different occasions since my interview letter was emailed to me. Imagine the risk of traveling Nigerian roads and having to lodge in a hotel all the time.

Well, I have submitted the IRS transcripts for the 3 most recent years and W2 as they demanded. Now begins another waiting game. This whole process is stressful and tiring.

Please when you took the tax return to the interview did you add the W2 ?
