The sales manager of my wine store in lagos called me this morning saying that some agile looking young men came and were pleading if dey could be hired as security men or cleaners.

He said dey pleaded that even if it 15k dey will be paid that dey will take the offer. I asked him (my manager) to give dem 50k and also tell them that we're not hiring at the moment.

Omor people dey really suffer for this country, while some heartless persons on this forum are busy saying everything is fine.😢😢

Wasn't updated at the time of posting....early a.m. indeed rescued. Don't follow Al Jazeera ... and don't have religious or other sentiments ... just be objective. On the rescue effort US lost two helicopters and either one or two planes. No word on the fate of those who were on board..

This report is confusing...seems more like the US knows the location of the airman ... tried to make a rescue but came under heavy fire. I guess they're now going to get back up...maybe Delta Force ....but I'm almost sure the Iranians will bring in heavy weapons and set up an ambush. The truth is usually beaten beyond recognition in such situations.

If Al jazeera that is sympathetic to the Iranian regime will make a post telling you that the both airmen have been rescued why should you that knows nothing be saying other wise? Even the governor of the certain southwestern province in which the incident happened acknowledged that the US actually came in and rescued their personnel leaving wide trail of destruction (even fars news confirmed it).
