You are right buh a tiger avoid risk being hurt, in most cases the gaur and grizzles attacks first. And not wanting to get hurt, a tiger might avoid a lone buffalo. A tiger that will approach a grizzle, gaur or buffalo will use its formula(SPBM). Thatz the formula tiger uses mostly.Stalk,pounce,bite and continous mauling.They make sure their prey are unsuspicious of them, when close, they pounce on them with a striking bite and continous mauling. I am not impling now that lions are sole riskbearers, buh lions often take the risk of confrotation with buffalo and the likes. Buh the fact that a tiger can take a lone buffalo is certain buh itz mostly when is the buffalo confronts the tiger or the tiger has no other food source. And again, stamina comes in here, if the buffalo proves too stubborn, the tiger may retreat cos they like stamina buh lions hardly retreat. I hope you grab?

Like i said earlier or if i never included it, barbary lions, though extinct in the wild, the largest of lion species will be sure to tackle an elephant in minutes. Two angry and hungry barbary lions would take down elephant be it a male or female, just that they are extinct in the wild, only sparsely forty left in the zoos and conservation centres, i might not say of anyother specie of lion, buh trust to say two big male barbary lion would put to rest an elephant especially when itz about territory matter.

A lone invading buffalo(a buffalo that enters a lion territory) wont make it out alive. Though i cant say of all lions especially Africa lions though i mean no insult, buh barbary lions, the largest breed of lions would put to rest a buffalo of any size. Just a sad news the lions are extinct in the wild, hardly are there more than 40 of the specie of the barbary lion in zoos and conservationist parks. Well, like i said earlier, cant really say bout africa lions, buh if a fully grown lone buffalo should meet an hungry fully grown africa male lion, the chance of the buffalo survival. And to top it, if it a matter of defending it territory, then the chances of the lion solitarily taking down the buffalo are higher.

Well, somehow true buh not in all cases. The alpha male is bound to protect the pride, so the lioness as to hunt, buh in the case of animals like rhinoes, elephants the alpha male comes in. I think they use that opportunity to show exprience,wisdom and fearlessness. Buh an alpha male marking out it territory(on patrol) which can be hundreds of kilometers away from the pride will have to hunt on it own, else it should be ready to starve. Buh being among the pride, the females hunt mostly, the males just come in some helpless situations of the lioness

There are no hard and fast rule to this it depends on how you view it though,but the truth is that,aside fairy tales and assumedopinion,a tiger is a better pound for pound beast than a Lion.A tiger has way greater bite force than a lion,a tiger has a whooping 1060psi while a lion has barely 650psi,a single bite from a tiger can causeserious harm to a lion.Dnt forget that Lion hunt in pride,so it always many lions against another solitary beast,quite unfair for a quote unquote king.

Sure tiger are bigger and as a higher biting force.Nevertheless, it lacks speed and swiftness cos of it weight which is an added point to lion. Also,lion as mane which protects its head,another point.And also,lion regularly fight often cos of territory while tiger rarely does that,infact lemme say 10fights to lion and 2-3fights for tiger.So they are more exprienced in battle than tiger.Lion can solitary kill a buffalo,though rare buh trust barbary lions for that buh tiger wont risk it.

Ha ha ha, no o, i never said that. Buh i tell you two fully grown male lions can it down, especially an invading elephant, an elephant entering their territory. I trust the barbary lions for this, though extinct in the wild, we still have them in zoos, i think the biggest breed of lions, no elephant will think twice before fleeing at the site of two male barbary lions. Just a sorry case they are extinct in the wild, reports as that only roughly forty of the breeds remain in zoos and the conservation parks and thatz all over the world

this whole stuff is a big ruse designed to hoodwink the shallow minded,first of all,Lions do not live in the jungle,lions live in Grassland,Savannah,and others,but not jungle,any animal expert should know that already,and not be trying to prove BS, secondly,Lions hunt in groups called pride,while Tigers are solo hunters,also tigers are generally bigger than Lions. It makes sense to know that Tigers win the argument here,why hunt in group if you can defeat anything singlehandedly.A tiger is the biggest of all the cat families,a liger is the biggest of all the cat hybrids,so in terms of size,tigers win this point too.Lions are not as strong as fairy tales make them up to be,there are a lot of beasts that would beat up a lion just easily.

I tell you no big cat can face a grown male lion, not even tiger.Though bigger than lion,not as strong,lion are the strongest of the cats family.Hunting in pride just help them bring down larger preys that eventiger cant hunt down

Hope you are not confusing a fully grown buffalo with a calf? It takes a pride of about 5 lions to take down a buffalo. A single lion? No f**king chance! And lions shift base when they see a rhino approaching. When it comes to an elephant, lions prefer to avoid them as much as possible. They only prey on stray calves. Lions have animals they fear.

Do you watch Nae Geo Wild, if you do, you should have seen male lions solitarily enter an herd of buffalo, dislodging them, it almost took a male buffalo, buh for the support of the others, it couldnt, buh the buffalo was badly wounded, as in badly wounded, and to top it, the buffalo was big male, and have also watched lions solitarily take down lone buffaloes, though on very few situations as buffaloes hardly move lonely, buh this particular buffaloe was quite unfortunate, and mind you the dude also was a big female. So what are we saying?
