The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman, Ibrahim Magu, at a meeting held on Thursday, February 7 stated that the Delta State University (DELSU) students cases of cybercrime is different and there are special plans that are already set aside for the students in the school.

Stating further, Ibrahim Magu said; “Due to this fact, I will want them (the students who are into cyber crimes in the school) to get themselves ready as the EFCC officials will start action concerning the institution any moment from now”.

INEC extends deadline for collection of PVC, according to the commission, this is to ensure that no one registered is left out in the coming elections, on account of inability to collect PVC.

The commission also urged its staffs to be courteous and escalate issues, they can’t handle by themselves by calling on their Superiors.

This was made known by the electoral commission on Friday via their Twitter handle, adding that all is being done to ensure that complaints about unavailability of PVCs of registered voters.

Students of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, all woke in the middle of the night to find their roof blown away by heavy winds. The students who lodge in Okpara hostel where the disaster occurred said the incident happened at about 12am this morning. The roof was blown away while the woodwork caved in, falling on beds and properties of students. Luckily, no life was lost, though some students sustained injuries.

As the roof was gone, rain fell freely into the rooms on three hundred series, damaging their properties and wetting their beds, so they had to go look for other places to spend the night. Electricity also had to be disconnected after electric shocks were reported following the incident.
