A Nigerian man has taken to his Instagram page to blast Nigerian ladies whom he says are entitled, narcissist, and expect men to give them money even when they have done absolutely nothing to deserve such.

His post is in response to a tweet by a lady who said,

A man identified as Mohammed Sani, a bricklayer in Abuja, has been arrested by the FCT Police Command for allegedly having carnal knowledge of an 11-year-old boy in the Mabuchi area of the city.


According to , the victim, who is an apprentice at a mechanic workshop mentioned that his friend introduced him to Sani.

He added that whenever Sani had sex with him, he would give him N20 to buy biscuits and would warn him not to tell anyone about what transpired.

The victim said:

“When I was at the workshop some months ago, my friend told me to come, saying someone had a job for us. When I got to the man’s place, he took off my clothes and raped me.

“After he had finished, he gave me N20 to buy biscuits. He told me that if I told anyone, he would beat me.

“After that day, he continued to do it with me. Sometimes, he would give me N20, while some other times he would give me N30.”

The victim told our correspondent that the suspect sodomised him many times between March and July.

However, nemesis caught up with the suspect last Thursday when the victim returned home late and could not explain to his mother where he had been.

Speaking to our correspondent, the mother of the victim, Mrs Yakubu, said she did not know that her son had been a victim of defilement for several months.

On how she found out, Mrs Yakubu, said when her son returned late from the workshop, she asked him where he had been and why the clothes he wore were different from the ones he put on when he was going to work.

Mrs Yakubu, who is a widow, said,

“Usually, my son closes from work at 6pm and whenever he leaves the shop, his master would call me to inform me. So, I waited for hours for my son to return home.

“He came back around 10pm, and when I asked him why he was just returning home, he said he had a very busy day.

“I also noticed that he was wearing an oversize pair of trousers. When I asked who gave it to him, he said it was one ‘uncle’. So, I punished him and asked him about the relationship between him and the ‘uncle,’ but he initially refused to speak.”

The victim’s mother said when he could no longer bear the punishment, he confessed that Sani had been sodomising him and had threatened to kill him if he exposed him.

“I was disappointed in my son because he used to tell me things. I never expected him to be so secretive,” the widow said.

Sani, who is married, said it was the devil that pushed him to do it.

The bricklayer said he was ashamed of himself and asked his young wife to forgive him.

“I cannot really explain what came over me. I was not like this before,” he said.

When our correspondent asked him if he was defiling the young boy for spiritual reasons, the suspect said no.

The suspect’s wife, while speaking to our correspondent, said she was disappointed.

Mrs Sani said even though she had not given birth to any child for her husband, he was patient with her and wondered why he would indulge in such an evil act.

Police investigations, however, revealed that Sani might have defiled other young boys in the area.

A woman, Sefia Panshak, also mentioned that she believed her 10-year-old son might have also been defiled by the alleged bricklayer paedophile.

The boy, however, said the suspect used to hug him.

“The man only used to hug me and give me N400 whenever he sends me on an errand,” the boy said.

The spokesman for the FCT Command, Anjuguri Manzah, confirmed the incident adding that investigations were ongoing.

He said:

“I can confirm the incident. Investigations are ongoing and the suspect will be transferred to the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.”

But retail worker Raven, 23, of Superior, Wisconsin, USA – also a mum to Benjamin Faice, six, and Cole Ford, two – has been criticised for her hygiene routine, saying: “Because Amelia can’t use soap, I put two tablespoons of bleach in her bath water every other day.
“It’s controversial, and not everybody is comfortable with it, but it’s been recommended by dermatologists and it’s the only way to kill the bacteria under her scales.
“If we don’t do this, she can get infections or pockets of oil, which show up like yellow bumps on her scalp.”

With stiff competition among the 22 players to represent Nigeria for the coming FIBA Women World Cup in Tenerife, Spain, Assistant Coach, Peter Ahmedu, said that picking the 12 players to represent Nigeria on the team would be difficult.
Ahmedu said the 22 players slugging for a shirt in the Nigeria’s women’s team, D’Tigress currently camping in Atlanta, US are the best players he has ever worked with.
He said: “It has been a difficult one for us here because of the level of competition between the new and the old fighting players trying to pick shirts to the world championship in Spain.
“The players are competing hard in order to pick a shirt and make it to the second phase of the screening which will eventually be in Lagos from the Aug. 19.’’
Ahmedu said the recall of 10 players out of the 12 that won the 2017 Afrobasket Championship in Mali has impacted greatly on the continued development of the team.
He said that he was impressed at the level of match fitness and alertness compared to what the technical crew saw in 2017.
He said: “When we played in 2017, not all the players were in good shape as well as playing for good teams.
“From what we have on ground, the experience playing regular and competitive basketball has given the team an edge.”
He confirmed that the duo of Nkechi Akashili and Nkem Akaraiwe who could not secure visa, will join the team when the second phase of training starts in Lagos.

A 23-year-old man, Christopher Arigidi, last Wednesday, allegedly raped a 3-year-old in Apata, Ese-Odo LGA of Ondo State and youth of the area are accusing the community chairman, Rufus Jagun, of trying to cover it up.

According to reports, Arigidi, who attended a naming ceremony in the community, took the victim to his house and allegedly defiled her, by rubbing engine oil on her private parts to ease penetration.

In a chat with Punchng, one of the youth, Oshodi Ibeji, said: “The suspect and some people were sitting together at the function; all of a sudden, the guy stood up and said he wanted to go and change his cloth at home. .

As he was going, he took the girl along with him; the mother of the victim saw him when he was going. When the mother went back home, she did not see her daughter so she went to Argigidi’s house and found out that the girl had been defiled. .

After discovering what happened, she reported to the youths who went to the man’s house to beat him up. He was later taken to the community chairman. He initially denied it but later confessed that he did it.” .

Ibeji, however, said the youths were not happy with the way the community chairman was handling the case. He noted that Arigidi’s family came to beg the chairman and he had released the suspect to them. .

The victim’s mother, Pouma Ologun, said she wanted justice for her daughter, adding that she wanted the community to deal with Arigidi. .



However, the community chairman, Jagun, denied releasing Christopher to his family. He said, “I told some people to lock him up in a room since we don’t have a police station in our community. .

The decision to take him to a police station lies in the hand of the victim’s father because the nearest police station to our community is very far.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has instructed Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State to bring the 83-year-old Imam of Nghar village, Gashish District in the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, to Abuja for “a handshake and national honour.”
Lalong said the President took the decision following reports that the Imam saved about 300 persons on June 24 when suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded about 15 communities in the Barkin Ladi LGA, killing over 200 persons.

The people, mainly Christians, were said to be fleeing from a neighbouring village in the Barkin Ladi LGA when the Imam hid them in his house and mosque.
“I hid the women in my personal house and after that, I took the men into the mosque and hid them there,” Imam Abubakar had stated.
However, the assailants caught up with the Imam, forcefully demanding that he release those who were Christians in the mosque.
But the cleric said deceived the bandits that all those in the mosque were Muslims and upon hearing this, the attackers left him and continued with their killing elsewhere.
Lalong unfolded the President’s plan to honour Abubakar in Jos on Monday during the opening ceremony of a three-day peace and security conference with the theme, “The resurgence of violence in Plateau State: Towards a multi-stakeholder partnership for peace and security.”
The event was organised by the Plateau State Peace Building Agency in collaboration with the United States Institute for Peace, Justice and Security and financed by the US Embassy in Nigeria.

Andrew Aghedo, a member of Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti’s band ‘The Positive Force’, reportedly absconded in the United states, 20 minutes before the band was billed to perform.
Femi and his band thrilled New Yorkers at the Central Park, New York on Sunday after performing at the XPoNential Music Festival in New Jersey.
According to Femi’s sister Yeni, Aghedo, who was the bassist of the band, was to perform with the rest of the band but disappeared before the show.
