U re better start strategizing asap And put urself together. By now u need no news as to where most corper in Ibadan are being posted except u have someone in house who can Help u get NBP, IITA etc, if not na na skul tinz. Posting u to skuls in itself may not be bad as skuls in places like lanlate, ibarapa, eruwa, shaaki........etc. Lol......... By th name self, u go don understand what the situation will be like except u really wana explore. However, as a serving corp member in ibadan here who faces damn in my own time,I will lik to advice everyone here to try come to ibadan latest by monday to look for schools either public or private in a conducive environment And demand their request letter to be included in their files in camp. with such, u can such places as ur ppa. I have a school in iwo road that I can help just 2 ppl to get request letter but FEMALE ONLY....

Importantly, I should make it very clear to everyone who intend to work their ppa's to ministies that u might be very unlucky at the end even if u get it. I am telling u this because I have pple who are victims of such circumstances. I will get nothing more than the 4k state allowance and u will work from 8-4 while other corpers who work in public skul will also get the same 4k and work from 8-2. Also, public skul copers usually have sufficient time for other things and on fact can take up many professional exams with the time.......

I dont know why am telling u all this but I believe u should noy witness the kind of thingz I witnessed b4 I became stable here. If I had sufficient info about all this tinz, in fact.......

There are still better places they could be posted to in Ibadan. The likes of Nigerian Army headquarters, Zartech, UI, Ibadan poly, cooperative college, IAR&T.the power of prayer can never be over emphasized

I didn't do registration at iseyin camp because am part batch B 14 stream II corp members that were asked camp with batch C14. So I don't know about de new registration system but you must be given a state code...

But I know after registration is allocation of hostel nd bed space...

Hint: for guys, target "ajumobi extension or alaafin hall" that means, its for late comers..

No, but that was where I initially wanted because I studied Agricultural Economics and Extension but later changed my mind when I heard of the workload.

In lagos I barb for 200h but here in ibadan I barb for 400-500h, dat one cheap?? From iyana ipaja to oshodi under bridge,you can get N50 bus. From idi-odo(felele round about) to dugbe is N70 etc

Just telling them the truth so that they won't waste their time to lobby for ibadan when other LGAs outside ibadan are really okay, cheap and stress less and they will be treated like mini gods...

It depends on choice. Standard flats of 120k is available in areas like Ikolaba and gate GRA. And barbing salons of 200 are also available. All these are not problem for dome Corp members

I serve in ogbomoso,oyo state... cost of living is very cheap over here, though thanks to the fact that am always on business trips, if u get posted to a village like me then ur gonna enjoy every-bit of ur service year cause I can't remember d last time I attended the cds excpet when we wnt to sign our pV... that one u must not miss unless it's an extra month as punishment. I always wanted Ibadan but am happy I am nt there cause I might not have time for my business!!! #dydx_cares

You are all lucky to have been posted to Oyo state. The orientation camp is comfortable, electricity supply is good (I.e from national grid or [ gen set,not 24hrs]), good toilet and bathroom with running water, nice food and hopefully nice military officials...

I believe you will enjoy your stay during the orientation programme at iseyin camp

One more thing, please accept any where they will "throw you" after the orientation programme, don't bother to bribe anybody. Sarki, igbarapa etc are all nice places. Ibadan is okay but is expensive as lagos no difference, food stuffs are expensive here in ibadan. Once they see the uniform, na to milk de corper dey dir mind.

Thanks for your advice to the prospective Corps Members. You don't need to discourage them about the cost of living in Ibadan. Cost of living in Ibadan can't be compared to Lagos at all. Cost of living in oyo state generally is very cheap. I wish you all a successful service year.

I wish you all the best as Oyo state is listed as one of the best camps in Nigeria. I'm currently serving in oyo state and never regretted that. Feel free to ask any question by sending me a direct message.

callup letter will not be sent to anyone till 30th.. its reADY is just some reason only known by them. ask c14 4 more detail or ask any NYSC staff in HQ. don't even expect it tmrw

What happened to batch "c 14" is different from yours. You'll all get your SMS before. The day runs out. Check @nysc_ng for the best reliable information

Ibadan is a lively city to serve. The average allowee is 5k aside your 19.8k federal allawee.
