Good morning great people.

Please I have a question and it's not about solar but related.

I live in a compound with 3 separate occupants. Only one unit currently has an electricity meter due to meter scarcity from the DisCo.

Is it possible to setup a system where the other two units are connected to the metered supply, pay the metered supply based on the DisCo rate and only get to use the amount paid for?

Also what's the typical cost implication if possible.
It is possible, all the tenants need to get an energy meter each. It will be programmed in a way that you only consume the number of kwh you paid for. It is one of the tenants that will be in charge of the devices. Look for DIY with Ray on tiktok he sells the device. It is N32,000.00 each back then, i don't know how much he sells it now.

How can I sell my dead 12v BattlleBorn batteries?

Some of them have only 8ah left in them, 1 or 2 seem completely dead, and the last 2 have about 60-90ah in them, so not quite dead.

Wondering if I should take the completely dead ones to guys that buy car batteries

They’d probably price 15k even they have a BMS in them, chai
How much do you want to sell them?

Grid erratic fluctuations made me avoid it till now. Grid here is even 180v and still fluctuates and can surge anytime.

It is better for inverters to pass through a "stabilizer" at least.

DONT TRUST NAIJA GRID.
Grid voltage fluctuate between 70v-150v in my area until i wrote an email to Ikeja Electric, though they did not contact me but there is significant improvement. The voltage is between 120v-210v now.
