A lot of monikers (4 that I know of could definitely be more) have come here to express that they were banned after quoting and insulting helinues for consistently posting tribal gas lighting posts on Nairaland unabated . I decided to engage in a social experiment and quoted him back for a gas lighting tribal post he made and true to what those people said was banned and it was a lengthy one. I realized I was either banned by the moderators or Seun himself. I started background checks and discovered that for Seun to ban you, you must have looked for his trouble by quoting or calling him out or trying to use Nairaland to promote out of normal ideology. I looked at Mynd44 and saw he is totally detached from what is happening in politics section and hardly posts except for neutral posts he finds necessary. I then moved to Fergie001 and found he likes posting and have struggled to mask his bitterness for Igbos and Obi since he became a moderator. I went further to 1 year looking at Fergie001 / helinues posts randomly till of recent and not only found photographic similarity between both monikers posts but made a discovery that made me create this post. He has a distinct way of making his posts I have never seen on Nairaland in the sense that he almost always never fails to separate his posts into three paragraphs and always makes sure the punctuation marks are never missing. My concern in this issue is why would a person use one moniker to make insult and gas light a tribe and then use an alternate moniker to hand them lengthy bans. Please Seun should investigate this deception because people like this have used a forum they never created to create a lot of hate , bitterness and tribal divisions among Nigerians online. People like that don’t know how to build but to destroy the sweat and hardwork of others through sowing of ethnic discord , incitement and bitterness

It's either you're genuinely and honestly ignorant of how 'addictions' work, or perhaps you're just trying to be a holier-than-thou judgemental hypocrite (no offense intended please).

If you truly understand the dynamics of addictions, you would realise that it is practically impossible to stop an addiction overnight. What the person you quoted said is the truth; quite often if you try to stop an addiction overnight, you typically relapse into a worse form of the same addiction. Practical therapies against addictions (be it drugs or alcoholism etc) usually employ the method of substitution, i.e. gradually substitute the substance of the addiction with something else which is less harmful, until the addiction dies away.

You're saying this because you don't understand how addiction works. Rehabilitation clinics don't abruptly remove their drug addictef patients off drugs. What they do is to wean their bodies off the drugs by giving them reduced intakes while cleansing their system. Abruptly stopping an addiction will lead to a relapse 99% of the time

Addicts of any kind can relate with what he is saying . Something must replace that addiction before you can leave it . There is no sudden change with addiction . It is a gradual process . In developed worlds , you even attend addiction clinics or homes where they help you reduce it till you are clean ( ie stop using ) .

He is saying develop appetite for the word of God and it will gradually shift from porn . Some try so much to stop but keep falling back because they have not filled the void or urge with something else . These people end up feeling terrible for always failing which is worse .

I agree with him. If you abruptly cut yourself off any addiction, you will relapse and fall in deeper. Best way to beat the addiction is by reducing your attachment to it while doing other productive things. With time you'll adjust to doing without it.

Ezekiel 23 is a long allegory about two sisters Ohola and Oholibah, representing Samaria and Jerusalem. Both of these sisters grew up to be prostitutes. Ohola was a prostitute for the Assyrians. God was so angry with her that he had the Assyrians kill her and take away her children.

Oholibah sees her sister’s death but does not stop her prostitution. In fact, she takes it one step further. She goes to the Babylonians and has sex with them. Put yourself in the story. Imagine the scene. The blood-curdling screams as her ears were cut off without mercy. The pain and shame as she was endlessly gang raped by her enemies. Imagine being so desperate for your own death that you give in to the demands to rip off your own breasts with your bare hands. Imagine watching your own children being murdered with swords right in front of you.

Yes, this is an allegorical warning against turning away from God. But, I have to wonder if it is representative of how female prostitutes and adulterers were actually treated.

The loving and merciful God, Jesus presented to us , appears to be different from the Yahweh of the Jews in the Old Testament! I presume that’s why the Jews up till now do not acknowledge Jesus as the messiah and the Son of God ! If God acknowledged Jesus after the baptism by John as His son, then for the Jews to say otherwise probably means He is different from their Yahweh!
