Yes you're very correct and I appreciate the insight you gave .
I've a childhood friend in based in UK, aside providing me with an invitation letter, what other documents do you think it's necessary he should add.to it? Thanks

Tutu82:
Good morning.

If you have corrected all the reasons for the first refusal it should work this time for example you earn a bit more that is one good thing.

However,You are based in Saudi for now why are you not applying from there instead of when you come to Nigeria on vacation?.Would someone write you a letter of invitation and thus reduce your 7days accommodation needs which would be about £500.

-Currency conversion and Tickets have risen so do the maths as 750k is barely £800 and will not cover your expenses if all inclusive.

Hi Everyone,
I want to briefly share my UK visa application experience and also wish everyone can comment and advise me to get it right. I'm married and have kids. my family in Nigeria.

In June 2021, I came back to Nigeria for my vacation from Saudi, where I'm based and working (4yr Residency) I applied for a UK visa (6months,my first time)
Did the application myself
.
in my application
*salary/month- N227,000
*Disposable expenditure/month-N70,000
* Money I want to spend for the trip--N750,000
*Opening a/c balance - 1.5m
*closing a/c balance-3m
*15days trip

I was denied!!!
Reason:
* other deposits seen in my salary a/c (document I provide doesn't demostarte origin of the funds)
*Proposed budget N750,000 is 3times my monthly salary
*My expenditure not credible .

Now 2023.
i want to re-apply now .
*Opening a/c balance -3m
*closing a:c balance -5m
*salary/month now -370,500
*disposable expenditure /month -50k (wife working now grin
*Proposed budget -N750k
*7days trip

Please, what do you guys advise me to do,I really want to get it right now. Am presently on 2months vacation back in Nigeria.

@giselle237 and @tutu82, your honest input will also go along way
Thanks

you are correct.
I mean disposable expenditure

Opeyemi007:
He meant monthly expenditure...Him mix disposable income with expenditure

Africankel:
Disposable income 50k? Meaning you spend over 320k from your salary every month? This is an automatic refusal, as the cost of your trip is 15 times your disposable income.

Secondly be sure not to have unexplained deposits in your account.
sorry...I mean disposable expenditure
