To be sincere the 280 staffs sacked are well compensated. Mtn wasted five years of my life working as a customer care representative, about 1500 sacked last year september 30th with nothing as severance benefit. In fact we only got the last month salary after serious we no gree. But am grateful to God I have moved on. But what is wrong is wrong. Nigeria is gradually becoming a zoo, lawlessness at its peak.

I was actually expecting this request but I can't provide it at the moment cos the last time I went to check on the progress level the owner was there and I could not take any pictures. But as a mechanical engr I was curious so I checked the instrument Cluster everything except the speedometer worked which is what I expected. for the running part the vehicle actually runs fine the engine block in iron not aluminum, but one thing I know for sure is that it can never be the same as before cos there is a wide magin BTW 168hp and 465hp

Just came across this project, a mechanic installed a 1997 Nissan pathfinder engine on a 2007 Porsche cayenne which had a faulty engine. The engine alone is said to cost about 1.1million naira and the owner being Unable afford that opted for this project after being convinced by his mechanic that it was going to work. My take on this a 2007 Porsche cayenne runs on a 465 horse power v8 engine while a 1996 pathfinder runs on a v6 168 horse power. The job has been done the Porsche runs fine. But based on my observation, the engine sitting constructed wasn't strong enough and the difference in power of both engines is massive thus there might be every tendency for the vehicle to run sluggishly.

My candid advice, before vehicles are manufactured there is a design and before the design becomes accepted and used for production, a lot of consideration is put in place from aerodynamics of design to material selection e.t .c this also includes selecting the right tire for the vehicle. Modifying what has been put in place puts you the user of that vehicle at risk, for instance the tire selection you though does not in anyway gives any clearance from what it was before but only makes it more stable, for those suggesting bigger tires, when you install bigger tires u reduce the space between the tire and its wheel base. Mind you a car is man made and parts are subject to tear and wear, imagine a situation where you have large tires and u driving on a highway with bad bushing on your arms upper n lower possibly and then you hit a bump and your front wheel drift a bit maybe forward or backward but due to the fact you have large tires than normal the tires scratches the fender or other surrounding metal part, your tire could go off or cause your vehicle to skid and you loose control the rest is history. Don't use large or too small tires, just use the right one. Thanks.

Mr bode fakorede i can see your post in most advertised cheap cars, let me quickly give a piece of advice at this point. you have 100k why not save it and add up to it, it might take a long time but i believe it best option for you.Do note that having a car comes with it own responsibility fueling and all the maintenance that goes with it, especially for a Nigeria used car. do not compound your problem my brother look before you leap.......my little piece of word.
